Gradually, the truth is unfolding. One thing is certain, that nurse would be jailed. If it's discovered that she was practicing with oluwole certificate, God help her. |
Stop worrying yourself over nothing. The child she's carrying doesn't belong to you. |
Nextt:You're the one misunderstanding the topic which says should a husband pay if he eats in his wife's restaurant? The topic is about whether or not he should pay or visit there to eat. Your argument about having knowledge about her business is way out of line. Cos I believe every man should know that. |
Kevineleven:Lol..are you for real? How can restaurant food prepared for for the sole purpose of profit thus making it lack expensive ingredients that should improve it's quality taste better than a carefully prepared food cooked at home? |
Someone has already pointed out the main reason why you were served quit notice. Believe me, it's got nothing to do with your wife. It took you almost a whole year to complete your rent. They're having serious doubts about you making an early payment next year. No landlord wants that. I would advise you to look for somewhere much cheaper since it's obvious that raising 500k has become a Herculean task for you. |
The husband doesn't have any business going to that restaurant. His wife would always prepare his food for him at home. |
Dennisochampa:When Jonathan left Nigeria in 2015. Dollar was 240, 50k rice was 6k, cement was 600. Standard of living was relatively affordable because he had hands who were actually interested in moving the economy forward. APC came in 2015 with their propaganda, and things started going downwards. We barely managed to survive Buhari before Tinubu came in. He avoided debates, which is a known platform for telling the people what you intend to do for them. The only place where he made himself available to take and answer questions was in Chatham house. Even there, he embarrassingly transferred questions thrown at him to other members of his group to answer on his behalf. The only thing Tinubu said through out his campaign was that it's his turn to rule. How he intends to rule, he didn't tell us. Peter Obi isn't a magician, but at least he made himself available to be scrutinized by various media outlets. A feat Tinubu made sure he avoided. Peter Obi promised to end the criminality in the power sector, oil sector, military sector, educational sector...etc, by appointing capable hands who would be answerable to the people. (You and I) If that is achieved do you think insecurity would continue, knowing fully well that some generals are diverting funds given to them to procure weapons for the war? Do you think we'll be talking about power. After he visited Egypt to see how they're running their power sector? Do you think the Naira would be on a free fall, when he mapped out his blueprint on how to rescue the economy? I'll say this anywhere, tribalism is what's keeping Tinubu in Aso Rock. Cos whenever you ask his supporters (include you) any logical question about how Tinubu is running the economy, they'll immediately call Obi and Igbos. What you should know is that this current hardship we're all facing isn't tribalistic. The more foolish choice you make because you want to teach Igbos a lesson, the harder you struggle to survive in the economy those you support are managing. Maybe when Dollar hits 3k and fuel hits 2k, maybe just maybe you guys would understand that these people you defend so much do not care about you. They're just there to enrich themselves and their families. Leaving you their ever gallant supporter in abject poverty. Peter Obi isn't a Messiah, but I can beat my chest and tell you that if he had won, our economy wouldn't have been falling cluelessly the way it's doing currently. |
IamKizzbrown10:I've once been in your shoes. Just keep hussling legally and equip yourself with knowledge, if you're a graduate update your LinkedIn profile and apply for jobs. Both physical and remote. If you weren't privileged to attend school, learn a trade. When reasonable money starts coming in, you'll see and agree with me that there's nothing special under the skirt of a woman. |
When youths like you start voting in leaders that care about them, poems such as these would cease, cos you'd be gainfully employed and too busy to write this. |
I knew it wouldn't be Nigeria, cos we have so much going on in our dear country that a dog's funeral would be that last thing on anyone's minds. |
That's because you're most likely not fully independent. When you attain Independence, get your own place and live alone for at least 6 months having any girl you so desire, believe me, na you go de run from them because there would be nothing under their skirt that moves you anymore. People that feel hórny the most are those who don't have the desired freedom to have sex wherever and whenever they want. |
Dennisochampa:Trash that the candidate you're supporting is a failure or what? Can you honestly look at the economy of Nigeria today and tell me that Tinubu is doing a great job? I don't blame you, it's clear you don't feed yourself that's why it's trash to you. When you start paying rent and bills, you'll understand my post much better. |
Mmesoma wrote jamb, passed with a score of over 200, but went ahead to forge results showing that she was the examinations overall highest. Social media was set ablaze, she was called out. Some even demanded that she should be jailed. Of course she was punished immediately for committing such nefarious act, and her original results was rendered useless. Now, a sitting president, forged... 1. The certificate he submitted to INEC 2. The qualifying certificate he used in gaining admission to CSU. Which obviously belonged to a female. 3. Claimed to have attended a secondary school which didn't exist until 4 years later. To still think that the same people who called for Mmesoma's head don't see any problem with these, shows how far we've fallen as a country. If your leaders keep getting away with things which can send an ordinary citizen to jail, believe me, they won't value you. Look at the country today. Dollar is over 1k, inflation keeps rising like ijebu garri, many people can't feed their families. Crime rate has increased... And in all of these, if you think a leader with a history of forgery who within months of resuming office, plunged Nigeria into the worst hardship this country has ever experienced since the civil war, is the same person you're praising, defending and expecting to lift us out of the mess he plunged us into, you really need to have your brain examined. |

Accepting a job without an appointment letter was a very big error on your path. Your appointment letter is the only evidence you can present anywhere that you worked for the said company. Without it, you go explain taya. Just look for an elderly person to talk to her, cos as it stands, you don't have any case against her. |
saphiere:Not all men engage in such act. |
Alapogentle:This is one of the reasons I don't go to the politics section anymore. Any comment I make on any politics thread would be from a thread on the home page. Seun doesn't care about this site. The tribal hate is just too much, and it get worse everyday. This is why despite how many years Nairaland his been in existence, you can hear of it outside social media. The hate won't allow people enjoy their stay here. |
Lonestar124:Yea I know. I've been multitasking this morning that's why I can't focus. 🥴 |
Spider20:Let me make this easier for you. I collect $100 from your pocket without your knowledge. You've lost $100. I bring that same $100 to your shop to buy good worth $70. (Remember that the $100 is yours) You give me goods worth $70... Which means your loss is now $170. Then you give me a change of $30. Making your loss $200. Kindly explain to me how your got a loss of $30. |
jeromestarks:Lol..you're the one who lacks wisdom here. The question is how much did the store loose, not how much he stole. The store lost $100 (theft) And another $100 worth of goods. Making it $200. I'm sure that even a primary 6 kid would get this simple mathematics. |
Marriage de fear me sometimes. There's nothing more frustrating than a nagging woman who evaporates your peace. Your life would end sooner than you expect. |
The store lost $200 $100 theft (the man in question stole) $100 goods the man bought. |
