Peter532:Not true. In the early centuries and biblical times, young Kings often married older princess of other kingdoms as a form of alliance between both kingdoms. |
Truvelisback:Time travel doesn't exist. There's no recorded evidence of any person or group of persons who time travelled. doggedfighter:Over important o, so that we can start preparing. |
Did you check if Nigeria would still be in existence? 🥴 |
doggedfighter:🥴 |
Go into foodstuffs business. Because no matter how horrible the economy is, people must eat. |
When you're in a society where things work, your hard work would definitely yield positive results. |
I'm a Nigerian first before an obidient, so as a Nigerian who works and does business in Nigeria, it's my prayer that things normalize cos the standard of living is gradually getting out of reach for the common man. Let's keep watching and hope for better days ahead. |
Greenfaces:A code name for members of the Vikings confraternity. |

I've read the invisible Man. Even things fall apart that was written by our own Nigeria author, I haven't read it. I've only watched the TV show. Another book I feel should be on that list is Oliver twist by Charles Dickens. It's a very good novel. |
dominique:@ bolded. You're breaking rule 2 because of your uncontrolled emotions. Hope you'll ban yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9BmrG-1g9Q?si=bshByWFI2kUB5TZ6 Watch that video above of the 300l student who was murdered and tell me if that handshake isn't a Vikings handshake! She was clearly dating a cultist. The other guy said he's a content creator. Do you know what it takes to make money on YouTube? Even the mighty Sabinus which you know cannot even boast of 1m subscribers. The bulk of his money comes from ads and not views. So if the guy was a content creator, did his income match the lifestyle he was living? Falling in love isn't a crime, but ignoring glaring questions about the person whom you're in love with can have devastating consequences. If there are increasing cases of child molestation in your environment, what would be your parental reaction towards such menace? In as much as the men responsible for such acts are animals and deserve jail term, would you tell someone who advises you to advise your daughters to be careful with their movements to shut up? Many years ago, a girl name Cynthia Osokogu (I hope I spelt it well) who was a successful business lady, and also the daughter of a retired army general was ràped and murdered by a Facebook lover. The story made the rounds, the guys were arrested, jailed...etc. Her own father when he spoke used that incident to advise girls to take caution and be mindful of the kind of friends and company they keep. Here's the thread. https://www.nairaland.com/1029092/quotes-parents-cynthia-osokogu This is where I'm coming from. Telling me to shut up because I advised girls to take caution shows you're easily swayed by your emotions. And to be honest, I'm disappointed in you. Because when things like this happens, the first thing to do is to enlighten potential victims. That's exactly what I've done so far. |
Persephone1:Watch the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9BmrG-1g9Q?si=bshByWFI2kUB5TZ6 That's a baggar (Vikings) handshake they both did. Her boyfriend was a cultist, a ritualist and a murderer. Like I said, when you date cultists and guys with questionable source of income out of greed, death would be the end product. One problem I have with you females on this forum is that once it concerns a fellow woman, you'd attach emotions to your reasoning. Do you know the number of girls proudly dating cultists and publicly showing it off? Are you aware that most young guys ignorantly join cultism with the hope of using it as a ladder to attain financial relevance by getting strategic connections with influential members? Are you aware that these guys after joining these organizations, go for average normal girls to date who in most cases are aware of their boyfriend's cult status but choose to remain with him? Do you know the number of girls dating Cultists and Yahoo boys and publicly showing it off? I'm not in anyway supporting the killing of a human being, but I've never seen any of you call out these girls who endanger their lives by dating guys with questionable source of income. As long as there's enough Benjamins to go around, she'll be praised by you women for catching a big fish. I've never seen any of you openly criticize girls for dating cultists. I've never seen any of you call out young girls who date married men. Instead, you criticize the married man. I've never see any of you openly encouraging girls to embrace hard work, it's always what the guy can do for them, and how they shouldn't waste their time on broke boys. Then suddenly you get emotional whenever tragedy befalls them. You blame the guys and call them all sorts of names. Isn't that hypocrisy? |
The guy was a baggar. That tells a lot as to why he was able to kill her. |
Encourage girls to embrace hard work and stop following men with questionable source of wealth. If they continue to be greedy, more would end up this way. |
Tallesty1:The worst is that they're the ones suffering the most. The average Igbo man is wired to adapt and survive in any condition he finds himself. But you see those scar face people, their case is something else. Go to states like Ekiti, Oyo, Osun...etc, you'll see poverty in all its Glory and splendor. Yet Igbos are their problem. More than 99% of those posting account details here on Nairaland to beg for money are yourbas. Yet their all mighty strategist is in power. |
Tinubu hasn't even been in office for a year, yet all his supporters are wailing seriously. First it was Arewa Twitter, now dokubo. I know without doubt that the north wouldn't stand with him in 2027 like they did this year, most especially if Atiku comes out again. We would just have to manage him for the next 4 years tho, after which he would carry his wahala and go. Hopefully by 2027, we'll have small sense. |
GloriousGbola:Exactly. ![]() |
You forgot ASL. Indomine generation wouldn't know what it means. |
folake4u:That can only happen if he has big Gbola. A big Gbola can put food on the table of a broke boy, courtesy of his satisfied girlfriend or sugar mummy. 😏 |
planetx:Is your eye paining you or are you using a black virus infected phone, did you see me quote such figure on my post? |
Wisswhales007:If she was his back bone, he had no business remarrying. The purpose of remarrying means he's ready to move on. It's foolish to claim you've moved on whilst still harbouring belongings of your late wife. You'd end up breaking your current marriage. |
folake4u:I didn't get this? folake4u:He would certainly die of hunger should he tow the path that has women on it. I'm only helping a broke student manage his dwindling resources. |
What's he's boss networth to begin with that he'll cough out $20m to give to him for kidney. Does he know what $20m is? Does he know that so many working class Americans who earn in dollars can't even afford that money, is it a Nigerian business man earning in naira who would give it to you without breaking a sweat? The guy was just naive and greedy. I pray he gets justice sha. |
It's not advisable because 1. There's a 98% chance that he won't give you cos your everyday average Nigerian landlord is broke and relies solely on his house for survival. 2. Like someone rightfully pointed out, he'll most likely eject you from his house cos you've indirectly told him that subsequent payments would be a Herculean task for you. 3. He would broadcast it to everyone who cares to listen cos most landlords are chronic talkatives, thus making you loose the little respect you might have in that compound. 4. He would never respect you. He can publicly embarrass you if you've not paid your NEPA bill, water bill, lawma bill...etc. |
doggedfighter:Konji on top of 5k budget, do you want him to die of hunger? 😩 |
folake4u:Yes o, he has to avoid women if he wants to effectively manage that money. Women would only make his life more miserable. I analyze things based on the available resources on ground and provide a possible solution. (At least that's what data analysts do) |
Acidosis:I'm only helping out a bankrupt student. 😁 |
The man is just being childish. If he's yet to get over the death of his wife, he had no business remarrying. |
Fhaze:Eat at cheap roadside vendors. Those ones don't sell by plate, they sell by spoon. So you can buy yam N200, Beans N100. Avoid buying any kind or form of meat. At night you can buy elewa and bread. Maybe elewa N200 bread N200. That's N700 for the day. 700 multiplied by 7 days would give you 4,900 for the week. The additional N100 would be for pure water. For this to work, you must avoid women. They would only scatter your slim budget and leave you on a compulsory fasting. |
PythonTutorial2:I subscribe 150Gb every month. My device is connected to my smart TV, my laptop, my phones...etc. For my TV, I do stream live HD data classes and other tech classes on it via YouTube, and sometimes on weekends I watch Netflix. That alone makes me consume between 6-8Gb of data per day. For my laptop, that's like my office. The bulk of my work is done there. I download and update development tools, libraries, and frameworks I would need for my job/projects. I also upload and syncing data to cloud storage platforms for backup and collaboration. On that same system, I enure I Keep my softwares and applications up to date with the latest updates. I don't need to tell you how much Gb this practice costs me monthly. As for my phones, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Nairaland, Instagram...etc, is what I use them for. When you do the maths you'll understand where I'm coming from. Attached below is my data balance.
|
PythonTutorial2:Lol...what is 5k and how many Gb can it get you? You and those you know are obviously still students. If you must know, the average working class Nigerian spends more than 5times that amount on data monthly. |
PythonTutorial2:Where did you get this your statistics from.? |

Does time travel exist? I have only seen fictional stories and movies abt this.
