Sixfeetbelle:Not just Gtbank, most banks are closed. Possible reasons include. 1. They're short on new naira notes. 2. They've not received any circular from CBN to continue accepting old naira notes. So opening their branches and rejecting old notes from customers might lead to violence. |
February 25th should come and go, I'm tired of all these drama. Let's see who Nigerians would choose to lead them. |
What I'll advise is to save your salary and open a business, the business would compliment your salary. A well furnished bar in a choice location in lagos with space for car wash can fetch you over a million naira profit monthly. If you're earning 200k, but know a bank manager personally who can grant you access to loans, you can easily get a loan and set up the business. Surviving in lagos is wisdom, you must build healthy relationships with people that matter. Know your bank manager personally, know the DOP of the station closest to your business personally. Once in a while invite them for a drink. If you get into trouble the DPO can easily help you out, if you need cash the BM can give you a helping hand...and Lagos has the population to make any sincere and hardworking person succeed The problem with most guys is that the only thing they think about once small money starts coming their way is women, that's all, no plans on how to expand their income, zero ability to build a network of contacts...just sex sex and more sex. This is why they struggle in life. There's nothing wrong with working in lagos, you just have to learn how to think outside the box. |
Persephone1:The sight is irritating... some would keep pouring the saliva in a bowl or bucket, when it's filled, they'll dispose it. The thought of having to experience such in my home makes me wanna puke. |
It wouldn't be wise to be 100% dependant on your husband. You'll hardly have a say in that home, he won't respect you, and considering how expensive it is to manage a family, he'll keep complaining how wasteful you are with the finances he gives you. Also, if anything happens to him, like death or he looses his job, things are going to be horrible for you the wife. You'll be tempted to sleep with men just to feed yourself and kids. It's not advisable... Evey woman should at least engage in something doing, no matter how small, she should have her own independent money she can always use to sort out petty family expenses. |
Just forget about that money, Nigerians are naturally dishonest in nature, you're even lucky she refunded you 50k. If it was a guy, he'll just block you and enjoy your hard earned money. Bank apps usually add comma to the zeros, so as to make it easier for you and prevent you from making mistakes like you just did. Next time, be more careful. |
Lamanii22:What causes it? |
ahnie:That's the only part of pregnancy that disgusts me. Some women would pour it in a bowl when it's full, they'll dispose it. One can puke at such sight. |
Failure2019:I don't understand...how does E translates to F? E when I was in school was 40-44, D was 45-49, and F was 0-39. If you have 4 Es and I F it means you have just one carry over. The 4 Es would obviously affect your CGPA most especially if they're 3 credit unit courses, but you won't be carrying the courses over. As for the 300l course you had an F, you can rewrite it in your final year. Even if you don't pass it, as long as it's a departmental course, your HOD can waive it for you so that you'll graduate with your mates. So biko, don't kill yourself. |
Lamanii22:Is this why they pour saliva a lot? |
Only a much older friend can tell me such not my age mate. The reality here is your so called guy has zero respect for you. Any friend who sends me such WhatsApp message forcing me to call his wife whatever name...I'll just block him and delete his number. If strangers call her by her first name, why should I who's a close friend be criticized for doing the same thing, A friend of mine married his girlfriend last December. Her name is joy, till date whenever I call him or he calls, I'll ask him how's joy, and he'll say fine...what other name does he expect me to call her? Abeg the problem in Nigeria is enough for me, I don't need anyone adding to it. |
Earthstorms:3rd party insurance doesn't cover the cost of the car in cases of theft, accident...etc. It's just a pass for you to be able to drive freely without police, road safety and VIO wahala. Only comprehensive insurance covers such and sadly, 99% of average Nigerians don't have the finances to maintain such insurance. @op I'm afraid there's nothing you can do, you'll have to keep taking care of the victims until they're discharged from the hospital. As for money, you can reach out to your parents, family members, friends, church members and your pastor as well. |
If I'm the one who asked her out on a date, courtesy demands that I foot the bills. But if we're already dating and maybe one day we're driving/walking past a restaurant, and she tells me she's hungry and wants a quick lunch or dinner, it would be very irresponsible of her to expect me to foot such bills knowing fully well that she's the one who's feeling hungry not me.. and believe me, I won't pay. |
Ilamina:I want to understand you properly cos in one of your threads I came across, you said you're 33 years old... Of what use is primary school education to a 33 year old? shouldn't you be more concerned about your future, moving forward, acquiring skills...etc. why are you still stuck in the past? |
Ilamina:How did you live your life? |
Luiz122:Teaching Contract staff in the bank. Government job federal/state. Telecommunication. You can also work on the private sector. IT and many more. |
This is a very common practice in most Nigerian homes. Some parents (most especially mother's) get worried once their daughter starts clocking 25 and above and isn't showing any sign of settling down anytime soon. In as much as their nagging might be annoying and embarrassing, you must understand that it's bore out of geninue care about your well-being. For starters, I'll recommend you sit your dad and mom down and have a heart-to-heart conversation with them. Tell them what their constant nagging is doing to your mental health and threaten to commit suicide if they don't let you be. You should work on yourself as well. During my university days my ICH lecturer would say "if 5 people tells you that you're drunk, even if you've never tasted alcohol before, check yourself something is wrong with you" If you've had above 3 serious relationships in the past, and none worked out, I'll recommend you take a break a reflect inwardly, ask yourself certain questions like where am I getting it wrong, should I be more patient, do I overreact to irrelevant issues, am I trustworthy, am I honest, do I talk too much...etc. If you can truthfully do an honest assessment on yourself this way, and change or adjust where necessary, I believe that your next relationship would be great. |
If you know what's best for you, better severe all ties with that guy, cos if you foolishly leave your communication lines with him open as you're currently doing, he'll keep flattering you until you fall one day and boom! Okafor's law would be activated. Once okafor's law is activated, you wouldn't know what you're doing to yourself, because you're enjoying the moment. You feel you love him, and just can't let him go. He'll profess geninue love to you, because he badly missed your coochie and wants to keep drilling it. And you'll foolishly believe him. Then you'll start having issues with serious guys who want a future with you because of him. You wouldn't be able to be completely honest with them, time after time, they'll keep seeing undeniable proof that you still keep contact with your ex, and one by one they'll walk out of your life because of a guy who's happily married. At the end of the day, when your body must have depleted and every shred of beauty gone, your so call ex lover leave you to your fate and hopp back to his beautiful wife and kids. He'll post their pics on social media and thank God for the wonderful family he has. You would have aged quite a bit and unfortunately discover that as the years went by, your admirers kept diminishing until you literally have almost no serious guy asking you out anymore. You would want to go back to him, but at that point he'll be the one who would block you. He'll tell you he has given his life to Jesus Christ and wants to focus on his home, by becoming a good father and husband. You'll be depressed, suicidal, hateful and bitter because your illicit affair with him costed you a handful of potential suitors and a possible happy home. A word they say is enough for the wise. |
flourishing247:So a married woman begging her ex for attention seems normal to you? Of all the people she could cling on to fill her emptiness it's her ex...just pause and read what you wrote. The only way that marriage can be restored like someone rightfully pointed out is if the ex lover chooses to withdraw from her. Anything aside that, the op should know that his wife doesn't fully belong to him. |
Mine was inherited (my parents are still alive though) and it's in the village. But land na land. |
Modified....My laptop, data, Play Station, Gen, Electronics, peace of mind. |
AutoManual:Learn automatic first. When you become a pro in it, you can come back and learn manual. If you're a novice in driving and you just dive into manual, you'll be frustrated, your leg would pain you eh! Don't give up just yet...there's nothing special in driving, go back to the driving school and tell them you want to learn automatic. Start from there, it's small small. |
Persephone1:Who did the wiring? 😒 |
Persephone1:But if the tables are reversed...as a female he'll be looking for a husband not a job. And no one would mock him. |
This is good news...I pray more people are rescued alive. Rip to the dead. |
Persephone1:Why are you laughing...why not give him a chance. |
