You ought to be bothered about marriage list not bride price.

Some families would collect 1k as bride price but the items on the list they'll ask you to provide would worth more than a million naira.

Even tinubu knows this that's why he's stylishly throwing jabs at them whenever he has the opportunity to do so.

At this point, those defending APC are either ignorant, tribalistic or benefiting directly from them. Cos no Nigerian in his right state of mind would come out openly to defend them after all the calamities they've put Nigerians through.

Do you know how much billions is allocated to NYSC every year to mobilize students, are you aware that some southern students are sent into the core North and many may not have money to transport themselves by air and resort to risky means like night buses, cheap and dangerous buses with reckless drivers...etc just to save cost.

An NYSC branded bus would drive with armed military escort and would have a particular speed limit they must not exceed, that way the issue of reckless driving and avoidable accident would be ruled out.

As for being ambushed by bandits, that's a general problem. My suggestion was based on over speeding by reckless drivers and putting the lives of innocent corpers at risk.

It's just a matter of time, Simon Ekpa would be arrested and extradited back to Nigeria to face charges for all the evil he has done in the south east.

The government has the money to place orders for brand new luxurious buses and brand them NYSC, which would strictly for this purpose. It's sad seeing corpers dying unnecessarily year in year out after serving their father land.

Obviously, he was blinded by love. Now that the love has faded and the veil covering his eyes has been removed, he wants out. No way oga, he must remain in the marriage, cos it's for better for worse.

Marriage is strictly for the man and his wife, but in Africa, husband's sister along with wife's baby brother and 3 sisters would move into the home, this is the beginning of rivalry

For me, I've made up my mind that no extended family member would live with me in my matrimonial home. If we need help, we'll ask our pastor to help us contact any church member who would be willing to allow their child (preferably a girl) stay with us. I've seen several people do it and it's working for them. We'll send the girl to school.

Any family member who wants to see us must call, and state the duration of their say. Any marriage built on such strict rules would have almost zero unnecessary interference from in-laws.

These are things you discuss with your wife during courtship and not in the marriage.

Unfortunately, many young men ignore discussing home expenses during their relationships, they prefer spoiling their girlfriends with money and feel that well, when we get married we'll sort things out. Unfortunately, trying to make a woman adjust to a system you didn't introduce her into beforehand isn't an easy feat.

To my fellow single guys out there, kindly discuss home expenses with your girlfriends, agree and sort out any objections she might have until you both come to a common ground. This would help you eliminate unnecessary issues like this, cos she'll be used to contributing her own quota to the home no matter how small.

It could be a coincidence, it could be a spiritual problem but all the same, I'll advise her to just forget about marriage focus on her kids.

Someone who's first marriage was in 1999 would be way above 45 years today, at that age, chasing marriage at the expense of her kids wouldn't be ideal cos she shouldn't expect whoever she's married to adopt them, she can have relationships, boyfriends...but her kids should be her utmost pirority.
