peretei2024:Official funds under your care are not to be diverted for personal use, regardless of whatever circumstance you find yourself in. That's part of work ethics. You're expected to account for every penny. If you needed money for your wife's operation, you should have officially written your company stating your reason(s) and ask for a loan. They might not approve your requested sum, but you'd be rest assured that you'll get something. Tampering with company funds without their consent is an unlawful act, and believe me you'll be punished accordingly. |
owen27:This is why as a man you must invest in yourself. Investing in a girl who's not your wife is like fetching water in a basket...it's pointless, coupled with the fact that most girls of these generation are insatiable. Avoid trying to buy a girl's love with money. The reality here is that girls are loyal to their desires not you. For example, if you're wooing/dating a materialistic a girl and she demands a phone from you. If you get her that phone, her loyalty towards you would last till her next demand. If her next demand is cash assistance of 50k, and you somehow manage to cough it out to give her, she would remain loyal till her next demand. If her next demand is 80k for ashebi to attend her friend's wedding and you couldn't come up with the money, she'll automatically change towards you, and offer coochie to other admirers who can afford to grant her wish. You might foolishly be trying to make her understand that you don't have it, some guys would even beg her and remind her of some of her needs they've met, but she'll lash out at you and tell you what other guys give to their girls...the truth here is her loyalty would remain provided you keep satisfying her desires, the day you stop is the day that loyalty ends. This is why I frown at guys who still believe that throwing money they don't have is the best way to win a girl over. Take that money and change your wardrobe, buy good clothes, good footwears, get expensive gadgets, eat well, look fresh and girls would be the ones falling for you, they would spend their own money to hangout with you, because you're worth it. |
The problem lies with the man. Most young men have failed to draw the line between being a bachelor and being a married man. The moment you get married, you must let your mom know that you're now a man in case she's still sees you as a baby. And if she must visit, she has to call, and say how long she'll be visiting. Her home is her husbands house not her son's house. |
Bad Economy: Nigeria is currently at its worse state. So many male graduates in their 30s earn less than 150k. And with the ever rising inflation, that money can't even get them a comfortable one bedroom apartment in Lagos. And because of this most are either still living in their parents house or squatting with friends. Also with the high cost of marital expenses these days (no thanks to greedy in-laws), most guys would just prefer to remain single and Hussle harder, unfortunately as the years go by, girls in their age bracket begin to clock 30 without and serious suitor coming their way. Japa syndrome: The problem with this Japa syndrome is that the ratio of guys to girls escaping from Nigeria is on a landslide. For every 1000 youths that leaves Nigeria, 900 are males, 100 are females. Out of those 900 males, 700 would try to settle with a citizen over there so they can get permanent stay. Unfortunately, this act is seriously affecting girls back home cos as the years go by, they'll begin to suffer from scarcity of eligible suitors. Deaths I don't need to emphasize on this much, cos we all know that male youths die more than their female counterparts. Other reasons include promiscuity amongst ladies. Double or triple dating and when the most responsible suitor finds out he ends everything leaving her with the useless ones who definitely wouldn't marry her. Bad character...etc. |
The worst error you'll make in life is to marry out of pressure. Cos 9 out of 10 people who do so end up making wrong choices. If the girl in question doesn't meet your wife material standards, by all means let her go. Don't force yourself into a lifetime of regrets simply because you couldn't stand the pressure mounted on you by friends and family members. Cos believe me, they won't be there when the drama begins. My advice, take a break from relationships, play the social role...make friends with girls who's physical appearance matches what you want in a woman, be friends with them and take your time study which of them you'll be compatible with. When you eventually make your choice, cutoff from the rest. Your actions wouldn't be unfair cos you never had any sexual relationship with them, neither did you officially ask them out. You were just friends. This would save you the stress of constantly falling in love with the wrong women. |
Preciousgirl:If she has the qualities I want in a wife, I can marry her and start up something for her. She definitely wouldn't remain unemployed in my house. |
Stephen2324:Possible reasons... 1. Waywardness. 2. Egoistic. 3. Inability to submit to a man. 4. Too busy to waste her time on a man. 5. Authoritative. 6. Never admits to her fault and is always right. 7. Over exposure. Which can make prospective guys feel insecure. 8. Looks down on men. Most especially if she's a top earner. 9. Bossy |
Nemesis0147:The fish or meat you're taking about would run into thousands, and when you add money for gas to it, you understand my view more clearer. And he's living in a lodge isn't it? In that lodge, he'll pay for electricity of not less than N2,500 per month...and then there are reoccurring expenses he can't avoid like toothpaste, bathing soap, toilet paper, detergents, cream, barbing of hair, recharge card, data, some lodges in the east don't have water so he'll have to buy water...etc. This is minus lecturers materials he'll keep photocopying from time to time. The truth is 25k per month cannot sustain a student. Cos as long as you're within those 4 walls of the university, you'll keep spending money. Unless he's going to school from home and the 25k is just for him to flex. |
Nemesis0147:A semester is about 4 months. 100k per semester would be about 25k per month. Whereras you were receiving 30k during your own time. With the high rate of inflation...A plate of food that was about N200 in 2016 would be over N500 today. Campus shuttle that was N50 in 2016 would be about N200 today, gas that was N200 per kg in 2016 is over N800 per kg today. Same thing goes for food stuffs like indomine, tin tomato, rice, garri, palm oil...the prices they were sold in 2016 is double or more today. How about photocopy cos lecturers would certainly give materials, photocopy of N10 per page in 2016 would be about N50 per page today. So in reality, 25k wouldn't exceed 2 weeks with him, cos you can't compare the economy of 2016 to 2023, unless you're trying to become a stumbling block to his comfort. |
Lamanii22:Congratulations. How are you able to get naira consistently, cos I heard that even POS operators aren't finding it easy to get cash this period? |
slan87:Mad o! You'll always want to drive out even though you don't have any specific destination in mind, and when driving you'll make sure you drive through all the familar routes in your neighborhood so that people can see that your life has upgraded. 😁 slan87:Why not...I slept like a baby slan87:Celebrate a model that's over 10 years old... what kind of archaic mentality is that? 😩😩 slan87:Toyota slan87:Nothing stressful... I Just refuel it and change oil when necessary. slan87:Obviously was a good move...I have no regrets whatsoever. |
mjuvey3:Nigeria can never be good, just make money and Japa. |
Nonexisting1:Dating isn't bad, the only problem I have with most guys is that they act is if they won't survive without a girl. When you act desperate, girls would take advantage of you. How can a young man who has a trailer load of responsibilities ahead of him start footing the bills of an adult who has two hands and two legs...like who does that? Some guys would be so desperate that they'll start covering irrelevant bills of these girls at their own expense. I've seen a guy who earns 120k giving his so called girlfriend 100k for ashebi. Like you'll work for 30 days and take over 85% of your income to give to girl for wedding... It's so sad that most guys have become slaves to their sexual desires, and they'll do anything to protect their precious asset even if it means becoming useless in life. The day a man can learn to tame his sexual desires, he'll begin to progress in life cos women wouldn't have any hold over you, if they mess up you can easily kick them out. |
This league belongs to Manchester United. |
BlackisBuT:you took a very big risk going to his house, some violent and perverted guys would have just raped you for nothing. I don't know why it's so difficult for you girls to identify someone who's just after your body, the signs are glaring yet you'll keep asking what he wants from you. A serious guy would be more interested in knowing you more than trying to get into your pants. If you look beyond material achievements, I believe it would be very easy to tell the difference. |
If you use that money and get your mom wrapper, shoes, handbag... etc, she'll bless you from the bottom of her hear. But no, you've chosen to remain a slave to the vaginā of a toxic girl. Listen and listen attentively...your girl has sensed your weakness, and knows that you cannot take a stand and stand by it. This is why she's exploiting you. You'd be shocked that one nigger somewhere is screwing her hence her reluctance to give you her coochie. You need help, serious help cos girls like this wouldn't break up with you until you become a shadow of yourself. They'll keep manipulating you to do their bidding until even your ancestors would begin to feel sorry for you in their graves. There's no need to advice you cos for her to send you such text, means that you lack the courage to face her. |
Would you blame them, after spending over 30 years in the civil service, the little pension they're expecting would be looted by greedy government officials. So the best means of survival they can hope for is the success of their children whom they spent their entire lives investing on. |
Tinubu has made more gaffes than any presidential candidate since the history of Nigeria, yet even the so called intelligent ones amongst his supporters are hell bent on voting for him. Tinubu brought Buhari into power, supported and defended all his policies and even vowed to continue from where Buhari stopped. The simple question is what kind of legacy is Buhari leaving behind that tinubu wants to continue from, is it hunger, massive corruption, killings, total disregard for the rule of law...what exactly is Buhari leaving behind? Tinubu isn't medically unfit to govern this country. Nigeria needs a vibrant president, we're still recovering from Buhari's tourism at the expense of our resources, we don't need another tourist president. What Tinubu owes Nigerians is an apology for bringing someone like Buhari and failing to fulfill their campaign promises of 2015. My dear yourba brothers, if you allow tribalism cloud your better judgement and make a wrong choice next week, it's everyone who would suffer together. Tinubu is wealthy, his kids are wealthy, his thugs are wealthy, everyone around him has made it in life. Next week's election should strictly be about your own future. Peter Obi has promised to explore the vast land of the North, an investment in agriculture means a sharp reduction in prices of food, an investment in industries means jobs for the youth, with the power problem solved, even a jambite can open a barber's shop and use it to sustain himself pending when he'll gain admission. Vote for someone who's administration would benefit you and your family not someone from your tribe. The north that were screaming sai baba and voted massively for Buhari because he's one of them, aren't they suffering as well? Please let'set's get it right this time. |
Foodqueen:Exactly! We're even worse than our president. |
Ibtxxo:It's extremely dangerous to open a joint business with your girlfriend, cos if things go south, you'll loose more. If you love her, marry her, then open the business for her. It's much safer that way. |
Ishilove:For this Nigeria? If he was in Europe or America I would have agreed, but Nigeria... regardless of what the court rules if Tonto doesn't want him to see their son, he won't. |
Sixfeetbelle:Yea you mentioned earlier that their branches where shut. There you go... +234-700-4826-66328 |
Sixfeetbelle:Banks don't use one customer service number. Each bank has theirs...Eg. The CS number of UBA would be different from that Access bank. What bank are you attempting to escalate an issue from? |
You see all those non academic female staffs in the administrative building and other offices in various universities eh! Their own sadistic nature is on another level. They would frustrate your life, abuse you with their local language, treat you like a piece of shit, like someone who doesn't have a future. I remember during one of my final year exams back then, I couldn't find my Dept dues receipt of 200l. So I went to my HOD's office so that those women there can help me locate my name on their register and possibly issue me another receipt. That was the worse mistake I made. This women use mouth and finished me, no kind of name they didn't call me, they said I'm lazy, I'm not a student...sotay they said I'm a cultist just because I wore red manu jesery and black jeans. They said I'm a baggar. I suffer that day. I had to go to the bank and paid another money that I didn't have, brought the teller to them so as to convert it to receipt, for where, they said they won't convert it until HOD comes...last last the sha changed my teller to receipt. If you notice, students are much closer to their secondary school teachers than their university lecturers the reason is that the university environment is filled with frustrated people. That's where you'd find sadistic creatures. So once you grad and collect everything you have to collect from them, you'll just delete their number and move on with your life. |
Fela was truly a legend. His music is mostly a combination of several musical instruments, giving you a rhythm that even without hearing the music itself, you'll just have to respect his creativity. Today's musicians lack the kind of talent fela had. They just compose one nonsense, rush to the studio to get a beat that would rhyme with it, then release the nonsense to the public. This is why I prefer vintage musicians to modern ones. If you want deep soul music listen to people like Phil Collins, Fela, Don Williams, Bob Marley...etc. |
Sixfeetbelle:Emails sometimes might take a while before they reply. They would acknowledge the mail almost immediately via auto response, but your issue might take up to 48 hours before it's attended to. I'll recommend you call them...it's the best way to get your issues resolved asap, and you'll have the opportunity of explaining yourself much better. |
Sixfeetbelle:If it's customer service issues you want to resolve or rectify, you can reach them on Twitter, email or better still call their customer service number (it's not toll free though). After watching how first bank was vandalized and burnt in Abeokuta, I think I'll have to support the banks on this one. Remain closed until this naira issue has been properly clarified by CBN. Nigerians are just too violent these days. |
