Women submit to their bosses and no one bats an eye. But the moment a wife submits to her husband, it’s “oppression” or “slavery”.
Submission to bosses is understandable, at least that's where their pay cheque is coming from.

The one that irritates me is how they submit to their pastors. Call him daddy, reply him sir whenever he talks to them, kneel down, some even send more than half of their salaries directly to their pastors, still pay first fruits as well...

If they show their husbands at home half of the love and respect they give their pastors, believe me marriages wouldn't be breaking anyhow.
Car TalkRe: How To Maintain A Car As A New Driver? by Nazgul:
Congratulations on getting a new car...to properly maintain it so that it can constantly look neat, do the following.

1. Change the oil, don't use the follow come oil, it can damage your engine.

2. If it's a muscle, buy the dashboard rug.

3. Change the break pad and install alloy rims if the car didn't come with any.

4. Remove the sterio and install Android screen/reverse camera. Note: don't let them convince you to buy DVD reject it, tell them it's Android screen you want.

5. Buy Caution sign.

6. Cut an extra key, cos they'll only give you one key when you buy the car.

7. Buy steering wheel cover.

8. Buy car wash, regular detergent can affect the body paint of the car.

9. Change your side mirrors if they don't rotate. This is to help you fold it in when you park so that reckless drivers wouldn't damage it for you.

10. Pay attention to the alert lights on your dashboard, never allow your fuel or oil run out completely, keep monitoring the level on the dashboard, and top it when necessary.

11. Buy air freshener for cars...you wouldn't want your car to be giving off an awful smell..

12. Drive carefully, car parts are very expensive, never drag the road with a korokpe or danfo driver, they have nothing to loose if they hit you, but you my friend have everything to loose.

13. Too things would swallow your money in that car, one is synthetic oil which is over 30k and the other is fuel. So avoid driving unnecessarily, cos the more you drive, the more you spend.

14. Car wash is 1,500 per wash, so if you cannot afford to be wasting that kind of money every now and then, and don't have the strength to wash the car yourself, look for a mallam around your house and give him like 500, he'll happily do it for you.

15. Drive carefully....I've said it before and I'll say it again, drive carefully, if possible crawl sef. It's when you contact a panel beater and painter to fix a minor damage, and they bill you, you'll understand why I repeated this advice twice.

All these would help you preserve your car. Good luck.
PoliticsRe: Crowd Hails President Buhari In Katsina (Video) by Nazgul: 9:03pm On Jan 27, 2023
The north are the problem of this country. They don't condemn a fellow northerner regardless of how corrupt or how miserable his administration is.

This is why I'm just laughing at Tinubu, if he's banking on northern votes to win next month's election, he'll receive the greatest shock of his life on election day when they start shouting sai Atiku after pocketing his millions.

In the eyes of the average northerner, every northern politician is a saint.

Last night, I was about crossing to the other side of the road when a lady who looked quite chubby and very healthy asked me to help her cross the road. In my mind I was like " as you big reach, you no Sabi cross ba."

She held on to me like a bride clinging onto her groom while I crossed. The same scenario occured several times in the past. Why do grown women find it difficult to cross alone?
She's probably new in Lagos. Most roads in other states aren't as busy as lagos roads, and if you don't politely ask someone to assist you in crossing, you might end up standing there for hours.

@Nazgul
Have you heard of the word choice? undecided...
Of course...who hasn't.

Fahvvy:
Whilst I agree with you to an extent, I also disagree with you too sir grin...
Really?

Fahvvy:
We've all had bad things happen to us, but still that shouldn't be an excuse to doing nasty things, should it? undecided...
At this junction, I would have to disagree with you. We've all had bad things happen to us and survived without doing nasty things cos we had our parents to run to. You go out and come in as a child and mom as prepared lunch for you, dad bought you a bicycle, you never lacked parental love and care.

I remembered during my secondary school days, my uncle usually disturb my mom to allow me come and spend holidays in his house. (We were both saying in Lagos) after pestering and nagging my mom finally agreed.

My brother, after spending barely a week at his place, I fell sick. Dem wan use work kill me, me that hardly does anything at home aside eating and sleeping cos we had a maid, I started carrying water on my head o. I nearly died.

Now my case is different because I have parents, and they're alive and can afford to take care of me.

These poor girls have no one. So when they're abused, they have to endure it, cos they have absolutely no where to go

Fahvvy:
So whilst the blame should go to the men and the women and all, let's not forget to hold the man culprit responsible - the girl undecided...
You would hold a poor girl who was a victim of randy men responsible for the trauma she passed through in the hands of irresponsible men? That's not fair if you'd ask me.

Fahvvy:
What happened to her as a child (in the instance you sighted) may not have been her fault or her doing, however, continuing in it is clearly a CHOICE undecided...
She's continuing because she has no choice. I gave you my own instance some paragraphs above, I had a choice to go back to my parents house and continue living my over pampered life. Most of these girls don't have such choices. They're stuck and have to keep doing what they're doing in order to survive.

I think we should cut men some slacks here.

Why didn't a woman take her in?
Why did the wife of a pastor chase her out?

Women have done worse to women than men has ever done, especially through their inactions and negative actions.
True, but the fact remains that a lot of married men have sexually abused underaged girls left under their care.

You might argue that women maltreat them as well...but that's a story for another day.

It would take the grace of God for a sexually abused girl from a poor background to live a decent life. She lacks basic education, lacks finance... etc. And whoever she turns to for help would demand his own share of her coochie.

Didn't you read the story on NL front page last year, of how a young girl who ran away from her Madam's house at night to the police station because the woman's husband wanted to rape her, ended up being raped by policeman in the station she ran to seek refugee.

If we men can learn to provide comfort to young girls left under our care who have no one in life to help them, without defiling them, I think a large chunk of them wouldn't be on the path they are currently.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Women Have No Dignity by Nazgul: 10:19pm On Jan 25, 2023
In as much as immorality is wrong, the blame of rapid degeneration of morals in our society shouldn't be on the girl alone, men should be blamed as well.

Sometimes what this girls need is just care, proper guidance and protection, but men who they look up to end up molesting them.

I heard a story about a girl. Her mom who was a single mother, died, so she moved in to stay with her pastor. The said pastor who was supposed to protect her, began having sex with her and at 16 she had already done 3 abortions for him.

The pastor's wife got to know about the affair she was having with her husband after the 3 abortion and threw her out.

Unfortunately, the girl prostitutes for survival. Sadly guys who come across her would call her all sorts of unprintable names forgetting that it was a man like them that changed the course of her life.

Still, take him to her and explain things calmly to her. If she persists, know that she's out to dictate your life, you can just ignore her and keep parking it until your friends collects it back.

The only thing in the agreement is to instruct all friends, and relatives to park outside the compound. Nothing about vehicles not bearing name of tenants
bring the guy to see her with his ID card, as proof that the car belongs to him and he's transferring it to you. If she remains adamant that the car must stay outside, kindly ignore her. Cos it's obvious that she's just being unreasonable.

This is how I’ve been moving. I’m moving out once my rent is due. Never again
Most landlords/landladies are worse than demons. This is why I vowed never to live in the same compound with them.

They would try to dictate your life. I've seen cases where the landlord would tell tenants not to entertain visitors after 7pm, some would switch off the sumo (pumping machine) by 9pm until the following morning.

I've heard so many horrible stories of how wicked landlords treat their tenants. This is why I would advice you that if eventually you leave that accommodation, specifically instruct the agent you contract to find you a place that you wouldn't accept any house where the landlord stays.

You guys only have mouth. You want to bring another person's vehicle to occupy space and inconvenience other tenants.
You are not a landlord I dont blame you.

Go try it.
Lol...you couldn't even counter the points I raised with superior argument.

And what has my not being a landlord got to do with the issue at hand? Typical Nigerian mentality of the average Nigerian youth, always taking off point and displaying gross ignorance wherever they go.

If you bought car in your friend 's name why cant you park it in your friend's yard?

She will win the case in court. You have no legal claim over the property as the document don't show your name. I like your landlady. She is intelligent.

Try it and see.
Honestly most Nigerians are truly ignorant.

1. Did she openly state it in the tenancy agreement that vehicles not bearing name of tenants wouldn't be allowed to park inside the compound?

2. If she's worried that the car might be stolen, what stops her from asking her tenant to bring the owner to see her, and he'll come with a valid ID card or ATM card which should match the name on the car documents?

3. You're truly ignorant cos if you weren't you would know that he has a legal claim over the flat he rented, and she cannot claim ownership of his space until his rent elapses.

4. If she takes him to court she'll loose woefully cos this is a case of oppression.
FamilyRe: Legal: Can I Take Up My Landlady Legally? by Nazgul: 8:13pm On Jan 25, 2023
Whenever I hear stories like this I just laugh, because most tenants accord unnecessary fear and respect to their landlords and landladies. Forgetting that as long as their rent hasn't expired, they possess more legal rights to the property they rented than the landlord/landlady. These home owners would use their submission as a tool to dictate their life, and if possible tell them when and when not to eat.

My advice to you is to stop giving her unnecessary audience and attention, greet her good morning/afternoon/evening and go your way.

And don't waste your money on court case. Just ignore her and keep parking the car in the compound. If she summons you concerning the matter again, tell her you don't have time, that you're in a hurry. She would talk and talk and talk and get tired, the reality of the matter is that she can't vandalise your car, and she cannot report you to the police cos you have documents to prove that the car wasn't stolen. So when she's tired of ranting, she'll crawl back to her house and let you be.

RomanceRe: Woman Severely Flogged By Her Brothers For Cheating On Her Husband — Watch Video by Nazgul:
All this flogging is unnecessary cos once a woman starts cheating on her man, no amount of flogging would reset her brain. She would keep going back for more díck. The only solution is to divorce her if she's your wife or break up if she's your girlfriend.

If you think you can stop her from meeting with the guy, forget it, you'll fail and she won't stop seeing him. Even if she deletes his number and blocks him in your presence, she would find a way to contact him after some days and the two love birds would continue from where they stopped.

The worst error a man can make in his life is to accept back a cheating partner. You'll spend the rest of your life sharing her with other men.

The husband in question should just forget about her and move on.

Any sensible guy you come across would know that the scar you detest so much is an evidence of the victory you had over appendix.

So what's why do you feel so insecure about it? Please leave it like that before you damage your skin beyond repair.

Tell him to bring the 70k that you want to re-calculate the whole money, when he brings it, remove his 10k and give back to him and pocket back your 60k.

It might look harsh, but you've passed a very deep message to him, and he'll never repeat such foolishness in his life.
