duro4chang:A bag of rice is 48k, disel is over #800, Flour, gas...infact everything in Nigeria has suffered terrible inflation under this APC administration. And you're still shouting APC. Aren't you tired of suffering? |
duro4chang:You mean the same peace and progress he promised Nigerians when he was campaigning for Buhari in 2015? Keep deceiving yourself. |
Your ability to choose who's best for you lies with you and not with anyone. This means that if someone is trying to manipulate you into believing that God would give you some kind of punishment if you don't marry him, it would be in your best interest for you to disassociate yourself from such person. Marriage is a flesh union...some pastors would tell you that marriage is 90% and 10% spiritual. It's the only thing in the Bible where people engage in without consulting God. Apart from Abraham's servant who was looking for a wife for Isaac how many people from Genesis to revelation have you read went into prayers and fasting just because they wanted a spouse? Religion has blinded us here in Africa that's why we end up making wrong choices over and over again. If you're not sexually attracted to a guy, and he's forcing himself on you under the guise of "Thus saith the Lord" just let him because if you succumb to his pressure you might live to regret it. |
obembet:Typical characteristics of Tinubu's supporters. When faced with superior argument, rather than give a logical response, they resort to tribalism, hatred and gibberish blabbings. Let me educate you...Peter Obi was a bank chairman before the age of 40, he has various investments that can sustain his entire generation. So whether you choose to vote him or not, you're not doing him any favour, it's yourself and your generation's future you're saving. And to your first paragraph, I think you should bother about your life first than the Igbo race. Since 1966, no Igbo man has ruled Nigeria yet we're thriving, I doubt if there's anywhere on this planet that the Igbo man cannot survive in. We're survivors so worry about yourself and your leader who places wore value in highschool dropouts than highly qualified youths. |
Let's first of all, come out plainly and admit that Asiwaju was a great governor for Lagos state. He did a lot of good and literally opened the door for Lagos to become the juggernaut economy that it is today. We have to admit that. In the same vein, Peter Obi was also a very good governor in Anambra state and made massive strides in ensuring the state could run independent of the FG, was debt-free, was hyper attractive to investors and had stellar educational systems. However, the main difference between Tinubu and Obi lies in their motivations for being good governors. Peter Obi left huge sums of money when he left office and has never benefitted personally from government till now. He recieves no pension to date and has no property tied to him from his time as governor. Whereas Tinubu left office owning almost half of Lagos, buying up property in droves and has ensured that he has the state government in his purse strings till date. He even passed a law that guaranteed him 300% of his governor's salary as pension. He has remained a political godfather, deposing and appointing governor's as he pleases. Peter Obi was a good governor because he loves the state and wanted it to prosper. Tinubu was a good governor so he could get the hearts of people and then establish permanent control over the state and fleece them for generations. One was selfless, one as selfish, though both were 'good' governors. How do we know when one is being truly good? We look at the end result; what does such a one stand to gain from his goodness? If their goodness is directly translating to personal benefits, then it's just a personal investment at best and manipulation at worst. Tinubu is a 'kind' man, he has raised scores of millionaires and entrepreneurs around Lagos, but with the help he rendered them, he bought up their loyalty and their freedom of speech, be cause he only renders help in a way that he can reduce you to rubble at the snap of his fingers. Peter Obi has helped so many young people and many of them are only now coming online to talk about what he did for them as students etc. Guess what? He doesn't even remember helping them. He cannot destroy them and they are certainly free to support another candidate. You see many of those guys supporting Tinubu? Don't blame them, they really do not have a choice. He owns them. It's an enforced Loyalty for the most part, for the rest it's just ignorance or ignorant tribalism. But you see this Obidient movement? Its organic, it's unenforced. It's real and powerful. That's why it flows like a flood. It's a natural river and not a constructed dam. Vote wisely I rest my case. |
GeneralPula:He walked out of the stadium without the team. That's insulting to the Coach. Ronaldo is supposed to be like a big brother to those boys, he's supposed to be an inspiration just like how Giggs was before he retired, not frowning and behaving like a girl whenever he isn't selected to play. He's 37 for Christ's sake, what else is he fighting for? |
TheOldGods:Your parents aren't the ones dating her, you are. You're the only one who knows where the shoe hurts you. If you've made up your mind to call it quits, stick to it, and tell your parents not to bring up her matter to you again...they would respect your decision. Case closed. |
I used to say this and I'll say it again. Never tolerate an attitude you can't cope with...address it from the very first day you notice it. I went through your first thread and discovered that you tolerated so much rubbish from her, that's why she's manipulating and treating you this way. How can a girl whom you're dating come to your house by 12am or trail you to a meeting? You guys should learn to act manly sometimes. Stop allowing breasts and nyash block your sense of reasoning. If you're tired of her like you stated here, let her know in clear terms and move on. |
Haliraph:It's called committee of friends and you wouldn't be added to the group if you aren't close to the person cos from what I've experienced it's reserved for very close people who have something doing (a job or business), so supporting your friend or family member on his or her wedding shouldn't be an issue. |
All this grammar isn't necessary. All he has to do is to apologise to his coach, his teammates and the fans and the matter would end. Inasmuch as he's probably old, Manchester United fans still love him for his past contributions. A simple I'm sorry would fix everything. |
1. Go to a place you can afford. They're places in Lagos where a plate of jollof rice is sold for 2k. There are places where the same rice is sold for 9k, it's all about your pocket. Don't try to form what you're not or else you'd have to keep up with the pretence at the expenses of your finances. 2. There is hunger in the land, therefore never make the mistake of telling a girl to order for anything she wants on a date cos hungry girls view dates differently and this could endanger your wallet if you're not prepared. It's a date targeted at knowing each other, not an avenue to feed an orphan. If she's into you, she'll give in regardless of what you get her. If it's rice you want, just order for 2 plates and drinks, with that you can easily estimate the total cost and won't have to be sweating under AC when the bill is passed to you. 3. Avoid meaningless bragging, cos the more you brag the more you set yourself up for billing. A female friend once told me about a date she went with a guy, after the date the guy was dropping her off, as she entered his car he told her sorry, and she was like...for what, he said he intended to use his Es350 (Lexus) but the mechanic hasn't finished servicing it that's why he brought out the Corolla for the date. The girl told me she would just use him to be paying her bills. So avoid bragging...just be as natural as possible. Once you have this orientation at the back of your mind, it would strike out every fear of being disgraced in public cos you'll know it's just a conversation you're having and not a showoff competition. |
He won't die...he would just rush to the nearest hospital and get tested. If he's negative, he'll wait until after 3 months and run the test again, if it still shows negative, he'll resume his womanizing calling. Chronic womanizers don't change that easily cos their problem is both hereditary and spiritual. |
If you don't want your loved ones to disappoint you, don't expose them to temptation. She literally used her hands to destroy her home. Congratulations to her. |
Michelle70:Lol...my dear Google is your friend. Germany and Austria both speak German. That was why Hitler annexed them (Austria) during WW2. |
Iyana ipaja |
Cancri:Austria and Germany speak the same language (German) so how can you love to go to Germany and turn down Austria when you'll need to understand German in order to live in Austria? ![]() |
You weren't scammed, you just over paid for the bike...next time do proper findings and ask questions before going to the market. |
When a girl you're dating starts telling you things like, I can't clean or sweep the house of any man who isn't my husband, I can't do his laundry, I can't wash his plates, I can't iron his clothes...etc. This should give you an insight to the kind of girl you're preparing to marry....The simple question I usually ask these kind of girls is why are you sleeping with him even though he isn't your husband? Why sleep over at his place? Why live with him? If you can do all these comfortably you are and frown at keeping the house neat, it means you're naturally dirty. Cos no neat girl who detest dirtiness would see her guy's house in an untidy manner and turn a blind eye in the name of he's not yet my husband, unless she's lazy and dirty, then she'll make silly excuses to justify her foolish attitude. Your neighbor's wife is simply a dirty woman. |
doggedfighter:Don't say nothing...The woman can easily frame him for rapé if their love goes sour and her husband can have him arrested...this singular act can destroy him in future if he wants to run for a political office... And then there's the law of karma... younger boys would boink his wife when he gets married. Finally it's a sin against God...so you're living under a curse. |
If you're leaving home I'll advise that you get a job first so that you won't have to play the whóre in order to survive, cos staying alone and paying your bills all by yourself isn't something you should dive into until you're financially independent and ready... In the meantime, you can continue to live with your parents, and when the pressure of marriage starts coming just sit them both down and tell them to allow you concentrate so you won't make a wrong choice. Alternatively, you can give the most responsible admirer coming for you a chance, so that you both can get married after your youth service and build a home together rather than going back to your parents house. The choice is yours. |
That would be when I watched squid game. The scene in particular was during the marble game, when ji-yeong sacrificed her life for the other girl to keep living so she can reunite with her mother and brother and go to Jeju island. Though tears didn't literally gush from my eyes but that scene was so emotional... |
Benz03:Western Union isn't a fraudulent means na...in fact it's one of the oldest and safest means of receiving money abroad. Another easier way is to open a dollar account here in Nigeria with your bank and give the account number to whoever you're expecting to receive the money from. The person would make a direct transfer from his foreign bank to your account here in Nigeria and you can withdraw the money. |
Faber:The airport isn't for the Masses, it's for themselves (the elites). Whenever they land in Lagos from abroad, they'll just book a private jet directly to their state instead of traveling by road which is very dangerous. |
Cladez:You didn't understand my post. I'm fully aware that she obviously knows what she was doing but educating her would make her realize how stupid she sounds, sometimes you have to face people and tell them why you cannot give into their demands. Ghosting her like I said would make her play the victim, she'll turn it around and make you feel like the villiain. |
This one thinks she's in USA where you can openly say anything or do anything and claim right as long as you're not breaking any law. This is Nigeria one of the most religious country on this planet and at the same time the most corrupt, a country filled with hypocrites...she should thread carefully before NBA or her school withdraws her certificate. |
SatoshiBTC:You shouldn't have ghosted her you should have educated her. The expenses of her grandmother isnt her responsibility to shoulder if her own dad cannot contribute to bury his wife's mom or he's own mom, why should you? Ghosting her would easily make her play the victim, but educating her would make her see how stupid she sounds and wouldn't bring up the matter again. |
Funny man...you couldn't even deliver 500k votes for yourself in the last election, you were the incumbent governor yet you lost your re-election. Your own people rejected you yet you're promising to give Tinubu what you couldn't give yourself. Politicians are sarcastic comedians... |
SeunTheOwner:Exactly...at least the Monday sit at home would be abolished cos I don't see any other reason for it since Kanu has been released. Therefore any kind or form of agitation in the SE would easily be attributed to criminal element masquerading as IPOB to unleash mayhem and would be met with stiff resistance from the military. December is barely 2 months away, I want the SE to be safer than ever. |
