Whenever I see things like this I'll just say that Nigeria is a blessed country. Our leaders are our own nature disaster. |
henndukwe18:Why didn't she wish him happy birthday before going to church? How many minutes would it take her to type...I'm in church I'll talk to you later? Whatever excuse you'd try to come up with for her, she clearly isn't interested in the op. |
Matix222:Rule number. 1 in relationships. Never waste your efforts and resources on a girl who doesn't reciprocate your feelings, cos it would eventually end in premium tears. Truth is she never really loved you. You were just pushing and pushing, and wanted to make yourself believe that she did care, but the reality of the matter is that she didn't. Like I said just let her be. Life is a teacher, take this as an experience to learn from. |
meobizy:Start by telling us what led to the breakup, from there we can know how to advice you. |
Matix222:That's childish if you ask me...save yourself that stress. Doing such would only complicate things cos it would end in a shouting competition and believe me you can't win such against a woman. And at the end, she'll play the victim leaving you worse than how you are. If she cared she would have kept her promise and celebrated your birthday with you. My advice is that you ghost her and move on, ignore her calls, ignore her chats, just move on. |
Lol...what do you want to end? It's obvious that you've been dating yourself all this while. Meaning you can't end what didn't exist in the first place. My best guess is she'll probably cooking up one lie as to why she couldn't come or pick up your calls and you'll swallow it like how a hungry baby gulps on his mother's breasts and the one sided relationship would continue. The Lord is your strength bro. |
imagrg:You're getting it all wrong. Chatting with a girl has nothing to do with her sacrificing anything. I'm saying this because I've experienced such before. You'll be chatting with her and suddenly she'll tell you she needs money, and I'll be like must I pay you to talk to me and ghost her. It's that bad. Most girls don't understand the meaning of friendship. Make a lengthy call with them for 3 days at a stretch, even without asking them out or requesting for sex, by the 4th day they've cooked up one story to extort you. This is what makes most guys loose interest in commitment and start requesting for sex from them. |
MALIGNANTGuest:Unfortunately you're very right. Poverty has made most Nigerians mock honest people, if you mistakenly credit someone's account, it would take the police it soldiers for him to resend you back your money. They would see it as God's blessings. Honestly, most Nigerians lack integrity... |
Just know that once you start sleeping with her, all her responsibilities would be transferred to you, if she get pregnant, just see yourself as a married man. If you cannot trust yourself with a girl together in a room, I suggest that you respectfully decline this request. Cos in the long run it would be a loss for you. |
If I understand you correctly, you're saying you sent $12,000 to a total stranger in USA, someone you have no means of reaching if he decides to play a fast one on you...like who does that. The only thing you can do is to send a detailed message to Interpol and FBI with screenshots of the transaction and he's acknowledgement to the transactions. If possible upload voice recordings of you calls and chats. The investigation would take time...(months or even years) but he'll eventually be traced and apprehended. |
You're aware she has a husband, you're aware of all the lies she told you, yet you're still hitting on her. What advice do you want us to give to you? That you should go ahead and sleep with someone else's wife? Just sever all ties with her and move on, cos that girl would bring you nothing but pain and regret. |
Rule number one in relationships...never break off with a girl you're still emotionally attached to and expect to meet her the same way you left her upon your arrival. You left her even though she didn't cheat on you, and she gave someone else a chance to provide her love and shelter, why are you angry over that? I feel you're just mad that she had sex with someone else. You don't love her anymore. Don't worry with time you would heal, I'll advice you to get busy with your daily task and leave her be. |
Help us reduce Tinubu's south west votes. That's all we ask of you. |
You're getting it wrong bro. Most of all these girls you see have hundreds of stalkers hitting on them simultaneously so giving a reply and keeping up with everyone who chats them up is going to be a Herculean task for them. If she isn't replying you as frequent as you want her to, just let her be. There's nothing to get angry over, just keep trying others until you get the right one. |
Dtruthspeaker:Quick question. How do you preach Christ to someone who has everything. A good job, a home, good health...etc. As a Christian if you're tasked with the responsibility of winning he's soul, what would you say to him. Since he doesn't have any problem per say which you can hook him with and tell him to pray and sow a seed? |
Kobojunkie:Honestly... Africans need mental help. 99% of people shouting God God have no spiritual experience about him. All they'll tell you when you ask questions is that God works in mysterious ways. If you cannot teach Jesus to people you perceive are lost then you yourself need repentance. |
Dtruthspeaker:So this is your defence... that she isn't God's daughter. Someone you don't know, you somehow read my post and concluded that she isn't a child of God. Very pathetic. |
Truvelisback:My dear, there are countless people across Nigeria who faced, and are currently facing the same predicament as the sister in question, most scaled through without offering any form of prayers. In cooperate offices, haven't you notice that there are some people who aren't religious at all, they live on the go... enjoy women and beer, yet year in year out they keep getting promoted, they keep getting recommendations. If they were Christians they could easily attribute their success to the prayers of their pastor and God. But in this case, who would you attribute their success to? |
jesusjnr2020:@bolded So that's your response...that I must be truly saved. I asked a question and you concluded that I'm a lost soul. Wonderful...this is the problem I have with most Christians, you can't explain Christianity to people who seek for knowledge without sounding judgmental. What makes you feel you're better than me? And you even called your fellow Christians Antichrist. |

jesusjnr2020:Kindly use your spiritual mind to educate me on this issue. Thanks. |
Truvelisback:You're getting it all wrong bro. A friend of mine once told me that once you leave Nigeria 85% of your prayer points is solved by the system over there. All she needed to do was to sue the company. Cos if God actually kept her for 16 months before granting her request I would be ashamed to attribute it to him. I'd rather attribute it to her persistency towards the company. In a country where there's a working system you cannot collect your salary after working and call it a miracle. People would think you're crazy, you get paid once you work. And if you're owed you can sue them and become a millionaire But here in Nigeria, we're so used to our failed system to the extent that any good thing that happens to us, even though it's our right we'll immediately attribute it to God...it's just like collecting your salary and telling your boss thank you sir. Why are you thanking him for what you worked for? And I'm not an atheist, I'm just a freethinker who prefer to think outside the box. |
Kobojunkie:This is what baffles me with we Africans. The average African man would rather spend his life in church praying and asking God for a job than actual go out and engage in something doing. If a company you worked for owed you for 6 months why not get a lawyer and Sue them? The law is spelt out clearly for us, even Jesus obeyed the law and payed tax to ceaser so why do we choose to fast, pray and sow seeds to men of God when the law is right there for us to make use of and get justice. |
I've been pondering over this testimony a sister gave in church on Sunday. She said she was working in an establishment and after sometime they started owing her, and it got to about 6 months then she left and started baking and cooking to make ends meet. According to her testimony, she prayed and prayed and after 16 months (that's about a year and 4 months) she received a call from them to report for clearance so she can collect her unpaid salary. When she got there she was paid in full. There was a thunderous clapping with tens of people rushing to the altar to drop seed and tap into the testimony. I didn't applaud that testimony neither did I give shi shi because I tried to understand why God would make his daughter beg him for over a year before forcing her debtors to pay her what's rightfully hers. Let's say you're a father, and your son comes home and tells you he wants 10k to purchase a book, or for lessons, but it's definitely for something serious. And you ignore him, and everyday he keeps crying and begging you for months and months and a year rolls by and he's still begging and when you eventually give it to him you expect him to roll on the floor and thank you and sing for joy for your generosity. What exactly are you trying to prove to him? For me I wouldn't celebrate such generosity. Cos it's useless. If she's a daughter of Zion why torture her for over a year before she gets her pay. If I know a top army officer, police officer or a top politician and I work for you and you refuse to pay, all I need is to put a call across to him and after you must have experienced some corporal punishment, my money would be made available ASAP. If humans can be this reliable in getting things done for those close to them, why can't God who is all might do the same. Why allow your daughter pass through such situation for that long just to prove a point. That testimony really pissed me off, I was just thinking about it that's why I started this thread. |
Never ask a lady how many guys she has had sex with...truth is she would most likely lie to you cos she won't feel comfortable giving you the exact figure most especially if she has a high body country. No one wants to be seen as a whóre. Next time you meet a girl, ignore that question and carry on with her, if you like her vibes, you can choose to take her more serious. |
She has awoken to reality. Adamawa to Imo is hundreds of kilometers apart. This literally means that all your love, sweet moments, kisses...etc, would be through the phone cos you'll be seeing each other once or twice in a year (no thanks to your distance) So catching romantic feelings or reciprocating your feelings would do her more harm than good. I believe this is the reason why she just decided it's not worth it and decided to terminate things so as to focus on something more real in her location than living in fantasy with you. |
The guy even had time to be replying her unnecessarily. If I were to be in his shoes, I'll wash my plates, clean my room, block her and delete her number. Then enjoy my peace of mind. Not everyone can stand a nagging girl. |
Giving that car to your girlfriend would do your finances more damage than good. Engine oil that use to be around 7k about 2 years ago is over 20k today, 2k fuel that could comfortably take you to work for 5 working days in 2020 would be on reserve after less than 2 days. When you add other regular maintenance expenses, you'll discover that you'll be spending an average of about 40k monthly just to keep that car running for her. And anytime you fail to do so, she'll rain insults on you not minding that the car was given to her for free. Your married friend would have been the best person to give it to, but considering the current state of the economy I'll suggest you sell it and keep the money in your dollar account (yea you heard me right dollar account. Any Nigeria who has above 500k lying idle and doesn't have a dollar account to preserve the value of his money deserves to be flogged mercilessly considering how the naira has been tumbling since 2015) |
yemite100:You don't ask for sex you flow with the tide. Sex isn't a commodity you demand for or borrow, it's ignited by strong emotions between two people. If you have feelings for the girl in question, take her out, gist with her, take pictures together, hug her, peck her, tell her how beautiful she is, how lovely her smile is, just make her feel loved. If she's into you, she'll reciprocate. If she isn't you just have to let her be so as to avoid going to jail for rapé. |
czarr:Well said. What would give an ivorian guy the confidence to tell a Nigerian girl here in Nigeria he wants a sexual relationship with her clearly means she presented herself as a sex object to him. No guy, not even a Nigerian guy can tell such nonsense to a girl directly unless he strongly believes that you're a runs girl and you've confirmed his doubt by giving him moves that suggest you're such. So my dear op, stop judging all men and work on yourself. |

How did God torture her? God didn't torture her, the people she worked for did. God only intervened in her situation as a result of her prayers. Her testimony is miraculous. It takes only the grace and mercy of God to be paid all debt that u are owed at a time especially in this difficult time that we are.
