Blupen:Stop sounding like a failure and get creative... Big bars are partronized by high spenders that's what keeps the bar running... So whenever you notice high spenders, rush to them, hail them and politely ask that what they want, and I'll assure you that with time they'll start leaving tips for you which you can use to sort yourself out without having to spend your salary. |
successmatters:It's not even that...more than 60% of those women are from Surulere. Gbajabamila is sharing 100k to women in Surulere who own shops, I know like 5 women who have collected the money so far. The last one is the mother to one of my childhood friends I even saw the alert. LP is going to find it very difficult to win Lagos cos of the kind of money APC are ready to spend. But one thing I know is that Peter Obi would get above a million votes in Lagos. |
GEEBITE:And the blacks who were hunted and captured by their fellow backs and sold to whites as slaves couldn't use protection charms to defend themselves, or were they forbidden to defend themselves against their own people? Just listen to yourself... |
Corporate2020:Lol...I guess you were still a kid during the era of professor Pella. You can run a YouTube research about him. He was regarded as the strongest magician Nigeria ever produced, he would cut humans to pieces and reassemble them back. Do you know how he died...he was assassinated by hired killers. If he's medicine wasn't vegetable why wasn't it potent enough to save him? It's ignorant kids like you that native doctors preys on to make a fortune. If their charms were potent enough to save lives, the whole world would be in various Nigerian bushes patronizing them for safety. Armies across the globe would award them contracts worth billions for spiritual protection. Even Freemasonry one of the world's oldest and elite fraternities doesn't promise black magic bullet proof charms, all they do is meet in their designated Lodge, perform their ritual rites and link each other to contracts worth billions of dollars...wake up bro, there's no such thing as bullet proof charm. |
Cooolme:You and your mom should inform your dad's people about his death.... whatever decision you wish to take as to where he would be buried is up to you as the first son, but you must carry his people along. |
If bullet proof charms actually works Africa would have been the strongest Continent. We would have long invaded Europe, Asia, America... etc. In fact slave trade wouldn't have existed in the first place cos their weapons wouldn't have had any effect on us. Only foolish and ignorant people believe in bullet proof charms. |
ModCaller:We're saying the same thing. He granted access to a spy app or filled his card details on a pishing website...one thing you should know is that customers who fall victims of this practice are not completely honest when they come to the bank to Lodge a complain. They'll try to make the incident look as though the fault is from the bank, when they clearly granted access to certain spy apps, filled their card details online...etc. I still maintain my stand that no one can hack into your account using your card details if you don't use it online and on websites and apps that are not trusted. |
Daniel058:Exactly....I will always say that a decent girl doesn't search for a husband, men flock in their dozens to ask for her hand in marriage. She would be the one to choose from the multitude of options she has. Once you see a girl hopping from church to church looking for a man, just know that she has nothing to offer any man who chooses to marry her aside constant nagging, lies, terrible past life, regrets, infidelity, spiritual problems...etc. |
I don't get this attitude of going out of your league to satisfy the needs of someone you're not married to. Someone who can wake up tomorrow and call it quits leaving you heart broken. If the celebration is way above your budget, just tell her you can't indulge in it cos your financial status is currently below what you expected. Her response would let you know the kind of girl you're dating... If she flares up and start giving you attitude, just know you dogged a bullet, you can reciprocate by severing all ties with her. Cos at this point I believe it's safe to conclude that she's more interested in what she'll get from you then whatever it is you claim to have for her. If she acts in an understanding manner. Then tell her you owe her, and on a very good day you can choose to surprise her. |
Rtk5:You clearly noticed all this before you married her, so why are you complaining? For you to choose her amongst other options you had showed that you found her more compatible than the rest. So please enjoy your wife and your home and stop complaining. |
It's impossible for someone to hack into your account using your ATM details without you ignorantly giving them the consent to do so. Maybe he innocently filled his card details on a pishing website and they copied it and hacked into his account. Because you're required to change your ATM password immediately after receiving your new ATM card, so it's safe to say that after changing his password the bank had no access to his account unless he revealed his card details elsewhere. |
general111:Yea bro...I really missed the good old days when we cared less about foreign movies cos of the faith we had on our home videos. |
blingxx:I wasn't particularly referring to this movie. I was talking about Nollywood in general and how producers lack the creativity to come up with fascinating story lines...Read my previous posts. This movie was just a platform for me to air my views about Nollywood and how the Nigerian populace have lost interest in them. In the early 2000s American musicians controlled the Nigerian music industry. Musicians like Cisco, Usher, 50 cent, Snoop, Buster Rhymes, Sean Paul, Nelly, Wyclef (diallo)...etc. those guys made millions from Nigeria. But today our home artists have blasted them out of existence. I doubt if any Nigerian can name 10 American rappers. This was achieved by the hard work and dedication of our local artist. I want Nollywood to rise to the level where Nigerians would prefer them to Hollywood. And getting to that level isn't by acting nude scenes, it's by hard work. |
blingxx:Lol...oga I have an active Netflix subscription on my phone. Netflix can be also accessed Africans...stop sounding as if Africans are restricted from Netflix. Besides no British or American would want to watch a meaningless African movie where the actors try to copy their accent...they'll prefer something more African if possible with our home language portraying our culture. Look at squid game and money heist...How many sex scenes were in them, yet those movies even though they didn't speak English were generally accepted all over the world thanks to the creativity of the producers. My point is Nigerian producers lack creativity. You don't have to resort to sex to gain the audience of foreign viewers, a great storyline can still win you awards. Those early years of Nollywood movies had almost zero sex scenes, yet Nigerians still prefer the creativity of the producers then to what we have today where our actors and actresses speak fake American accent, kiss and make out in almost every scene making it practically impossible for viewers to even understand what the movie is all about. |
Number 1. This one happens all the time. You'd see a girl earning less than 100k living in a tastefully furnished 3 bedroom apartment in a cozy part of Lagos. I used to have a childhood friend who falls into this category, and I'll be like why not at least buy a land, develop it and become a landlady, or open a boutique, grocery store...etc. Why waste millions on an expensive lifestyle you certainly cannot keep up without having to subject yourself to derogatory lifestyles. Number 2. Supporting a broke boyfriend isn't bad if the guy is extremely hardworking cos she'll definitely reap her investment in his life. What's bad is if the boyfriend in question is lazy and entitled...then it would be like fetching water in a basket. Number 3. Any girl I want to get married to must be ready to accept whatever kind of wedding I propose. If she's advocating for a big wedding, she must be ready to contribute not less than 60% of the total expenses. You can't be planing a lavish wedding outside my budget and expect me to inconvenience myself by financing it...it doesn't work that way. Number 4. Very true... most girls spend that way cos they believe that if they ask 20 toasters for money, 10-15 would respond positively, by asking for their account details and credit then almost immediately. This explains why most girls in their late teens and early 20s hardly value hard work and lack creativity in managing money. Cos of how easy they get it. |
Cooolme:What part of Nigeria are you from... this would make whatever kind of suggestions I would give much easier. |
Magnoliaa:Nairaland is a reflection of Nigeria....you shouldn't be surprised. |
mariahAngel:Davido is just like tuface. They're celebrity alpha males. Their wives/girlfriends wouldn't mind the trailer load of female company they keep. As long as they're being fronted and celebrated as the first lady, it's completely fine by them. As Chioma is she's fully aware that Davido has other bannies he's digging but if he proposes marriage to her, she'll happily say yes, and wouldn't have any problem with Daivido's lifestyle provided he keeps posting and celebrating her as the love of his life to his millions of social media followers...reason being that women love and value attention more than anything. |
ITbomb:Lol...you go fear achievement na. |
I honestly pity the guy who would marry this Chioma, cos he would have to share her with Davido. Infact more than half of their kids would belong to Davido. Case study...Tuface and Pero. His marriage to Ann didn't stop him from still meeting her... Anyways they should continue to enjoy their youth while they still can. |
A whole CMD still killing people for rituals, many doctors pay huge sums of money just to get to that position, and this one got there and is still doing rituals. Honestly something is wrong with the black man. |
Beckham14:And the same Atiku is promising the Igbos that he'll hand over power to them once he's tenure is over. Atiku is willing to promise you heaven just to gain power we know his type, he'll immediately turn a blind eye and deaf ear to his promises once he assumes office. It's either Peter Obi or nothing. |
She's simply telling you that she knows you inside out, she can predict your every move even before you make it, yet you've refused to see that. My best guess to the reason why this message was sent was she caught you cheating, or wanted a favour or requested something from you and predicted your reply and was right when you sent her the reply she rightfully predicted...hence the text message. |
Kyase:If Man U scores 5 goals and wins this game quote me, I'll credit your account with 20k. |
Kyase:Lol...yes o 5 more goals to go. ![]() |
MatrixReloaded:Noted bro... ![]() |
When Buhari won 2015 election, mallams in my area were giving free suya to their loyal customers, I ate suya and kilishi till I started purging. I'm waiting for what my fellow Igbo brethern would use to celebrate Peter Obi's victory cos he has won already. Congratulations to that child, her future is secured already. |
Omoapena:Airtel is really milking you dry. I spend 10k per month for 80GB of data from MTN. Just dial *121#. MTN gives me 80GB for 10k 40GB plus 40GB bonus. I use another sim card for it and only recharge it whenever I want to update my data. If you look at the first picture I uploaded you'll see that as at 18 September my 40GB was still intact and would expire on the 11th of this month while my bonus data is the one I'm using which was 35GB. The second pic which was taken now my 40GB is still intact but my bonus 40GB has dropped to 13GB. So rather than spend 15k for 160GB on Airtel you can easily be spending 10k on 80GB on MTN and top it for a cheaper rate if you have to. Also if you keep up with that particular bundle MTN can give you a much better offer which would be much fair compared to what Airtel is currently giving you.

Nollywood has lost its flavor...they have nothing to show that's why they've resorted to showing sex scenes up and down. In the late 90s and early 2000s during the era of Video Cassettes my mom then would rent like 2-3 movies per day, we'll watch it in the evening when she gets home. Those where the days of movies like Last burial, Ijele, Isakaba, after the school hours (Sam loco) carshika, last prophet destroyers (that was where I knew Zack Orji)...etc. We would be up watching Nollywood movies till late in the night. Today, producers lack the creativity to write great story lines, so they replace their incompetence with nudity since they're aware of how immorality has eaten deep into this generation. |
This is the problem I have with most guys, you'll see all this glaring red flags, you'll know that she's cheating in you, yet you'll ignore the signs and foolishly continue the relationship and even go as far as getting married to her. After few months of marriage, you'll come back here on Nairaland to tell us how you read your wife's WhatsApp message and saw that she's still sleeping with her ex and other random guys. If you choose to continue that relationship, this would be your story. |
Maysdevices:I've been reading through all the post of on this thread and I will have to agree with you here. Most men annoyingly force themselves on women with beautiful looks and curves who don't love them...some the girl in question would outrightly tell them she's not interested, but they won't mind borrowing to make her change her mind. This action opens the door for the girl to make whatever kind of monentry or material request she can before the guy regains his senses. Other guys go extra length just to prove to a woman that they're capable of taking care of her, some would begin to assume status that's way above their current state just to give the girl they're wooing the impression that they're equal to the task. A few months ago on Twitter, a girl posted that she has never entered an aeroplane in her entire life, within hours of that tweet she posted an IBOM air ticket someone booked for her (obviously the guy messaged her privately to get her full names) about 136k. Return flight. The problem here is that whoever that fellow is has literally set the stage running for serious billing cos such a girl cannot love him, if he wants to get her laid, he would have to keep up with the expensive status he started or she would ghost him. Are they great guys out there, yes...are they great girls out there, yes...but they keep dwindling by the day, no thanks to our harsh economy, hunger is really reformatting the standards of people out there...a lot of girls would choose to milk whatever they can from a cheerful giver rather than respectfully turn down his advances. |
