It's called inferiority complex. Sadly, many immature guys suffer from it. They feel if a woman gives them her attention, they've made it in life. Most of the time, these woman they're seeking validation from are way beneath them, but since she knows how to play her game, she carries herself with so much prestige and confidence that the guy in question would see it as an honour to have her reply him. Relationship is a mind game, which the wiser and smarter party wins. |
alobright17:Built a federal university in Ebonyi state, started the 2nd Niger bridge even though he didn't complete it. He appointed two Igbos at the same time to head the army and the Navy. Rear Admiral D.J. Ezeoba was CNS, and General Ihejirika was the COAS. He introduced Innoson technology into the realms of the Nigerian military apparatchik, Air force included. |
This is the only major project this administration did in the entire South East and I heard that there would be tolls would be collected on the bridge. This means that technically, the South Easterners are paying for that bridge. So what's all the noise about? Buhari constructed rail system to Niger. When the entire South East doesn't have a single rail line linking any state, despite how business oriented they are. This is one of the things that's fueling this agitation of Biafra. If you can't recognize us as Nigerians, let us go it's that simple. |
Congrats to Kano State. |
13sense:Most black countries economy survives on loans from white nations. (Nigerian inclusive) so he's right. Without them, inflation would be terrible cos we have useless leaders. |
And last but not the least before going out to urinate, after you must have consumed free drinks to stupor, finish your drink completely cos many young awoof guys have died this way. Any gathering with strange faces and free drinks has mr death lurking somewhere. Don't become a victim. |
Clutch is for manual cars. And manual cars are old school na. ![]() Today 99% of cars on our roads are automatic, so they don't come with clutch. Which means to stop the car you must first remove your leg from the accelerator, then step on the brakes slowly until the car stops, and finally move your gear to P (park) turn off your engine and call it a day. |
AdeeT:Yup I read...and according to what you posted, you're in this mess because you cheated on your faithful girlfriend. So if you had controlled your díck, you wouldn't have been in this mess. Your other relationships didn't workout because you haven't gotten over the girl you lost, so you paid less attention to it and it ended up crashing. The older women falling in love with you, is just your brain playing tricks with you. Older women attach themselves to guys all the time, it has nothing to do with love or if the guy is single or not. These women are approaching their unmarketable age, so they need a partner ASAP. |
Blake755:POS isn't a business you run independently. Especially in a City. It's something you attach to your already established business to boost sales. Reason being that POS is everywhere. Rumor has it that the average Nigerian street has a minimum of 5 POS operators and this can increase in the coming months if the area is a good catch, so when you do the maths, the question on how you intend to make reasonable profit with so much competition around you pops up. If you're in a rural environment with very little competition, you'll make more money cos you'll have more customers patronizing you....More like the lesser the competition, the higher your profit, the more competition you have, the lesser your profit. So the wisdom here is to look for remote villages to set up the business. Since you said you're in a market, and currently have no competition, you can give it a shot. But note that if the business beings to boom, you'll reach 10 doing POS in that market in a couple of months. That's how business is in Nigeria. |
You don't have any spiritual problem, you just lack self control. Learn to control your díck and things would get better for you. |
Airforce1:One thing you should note is that the moment you post or share details about your personal life on social media (Nairaland..etc), you've exposed yourself to 3 categories of people. The good, the bad and the Savage. If your sole aim of sharing those pics was to show Nairalanders your beautiful family, you must ignore comments from the bad and the Savage and focus only on the good. Everyone cannot praise you on social media no matter how cute your pics or whatever you're sharing is, once you have this knowledge, you'll pay less attention towards people's negative vibes and focus on the positive ones. |
The south east use to be the most peaceful zone in Nigeria years back. During Christmas holidays, myself and my cousins would be roaming around the village from house to house until around 2am before we return back to the family house. Most houses back then had no fence, just your bungalow or mud house facing the road with wooden doors and windows and you're safe. There were vigilantes around so crime was almost non-existent. Today is a different story. The south east is competing with the north for the most insecure zone in Nigeria. If it isn't Fulani herdsmen, is Ekpa's boys enforcing sit at home, or kidnappers or ritualist. We need to get things right come 2023, cos we can't continue like this. |
Johndagr8t:It's not safe, monies lodged there should be strictly for bills and nothing more. If you wouldn't be needing the money for a long time open a domiciliary ($) account with one of the commercial banks and save it in dollars. The good thing about dorm account is that banks don't debit you the way they do on your naira account, and with the way the naira is crashing, your money would keep increasing. |
Kings44:If the love is strong she wouldn't have anything to do with her ex. |
Relationship in Nigeria is getting worse by the day. More and more girls keep disappointing the innocent guys who's only crime was falling in love with them. Dear op if you desire a happy marriage, kindly distance yourself from that girl, cos it's obvious that she cares more about her needs than your feelings. |
I still don't understand why APC decided to choose Tinubu over this man. |
Fountainofyouth:Well said! Most guys are the architects of their own Doom. You lavish money foolishly on a jobless girl, you make her feel that hard work isn't relevant by getting her extremely expensive gadgets she obviously cannot afford even if she's working, then complain when she plays the whóre. I've said this and I'll keep saying it, if you want to get married as a guy, one of the major criteria you should look out for in a girl is someone who's gainfully employed and doesn't live above her means...a girl with good money management skills not some broke girl with a high taste she cannot afford. Cos she wouldn't hesitate to sell her body in order to fund her lifestyle regardless of your love for her. A girl who works and earn her own money wouldn't place so much priority on iPhone 14 even if she can afford it, she'll prefer to channel that funds to a much profitable venture. But a jobless girl would demand it from her guy because she has zero money management skills. If you understand how hard it is to make money, you won't spend it anyhow. That's why when I see stories of how guys buy cars, iPhones, set up businesses...etc, for their girlfriends at their own expense I just shake my head at their stupidity. |
I watched with disdain how Tinubu and his handlers ridiculed the intelligence of over 200 million Nigerians in Chatham House. I wish to use this thread point out a few things about that disastrous outing of the APC presidential candidate. You will appreciate why I called it a disastrous outing. First, when Tinubu was asked questions about his age, he read the answer from a paper which someone surreptitiously passed to him. It was not hidden that someone had passed a paper to him. And he reads from this paper unashamedly. So my first thought was like; "does it mean you can't even answer questions on your age without expo"? Has his dementia gotten to this level? Secondly, Tinubu played a fast game by assigning questions asked to him to be answered by his cronies. That's disgraceful, pathetic and a show of shame. The idea that they are his team stinks to the ear. Who does that? By Section 5 of our constitution, a president can delegate some functions to his ministers and proxies. The first question is; "was Tinubu there at Chatham house as the president of Nigeria"? Again, is it permitted for a student writing exams to delegate answering the questions posed to him by his examiners and justify it that the lecturer used to delegate answering questions in class to other students. For God's sake and for clarity of history, Tinubu is an aspiring candidate and he has no right whatsoever to delegate answering questions posed to him to others. It's more shameful because the questions were asked on highly critical areas of his person and aspirations. How can you delegate answering questions on security and economy; are we going to hold Ben Ayade and El Rufai responsible for what happens in those areas if you are elected? If issues arise in those areas, are we going to seek explanations from those people? Even Buhari will not demonstrate this level of incompetence. It's damningly appalling. Thirdly, Tinubu directly or indirectly insulted all the media houses in Nigeria by saying that the reason he doesn't attend live debates and interviews in Nigeria is because the media houses want to use him to make money because he is a marketable product. What an insult! Who wants to use him to make money? That means he considers the media houses in Nigeria as hungry institutions. He must be daft to have said that. Is he more marketable than Peter Obi and Atiku? That means he considers AriseTV, Channels and NTA as hungry institutions who only want to make money from him? Finally, he and his "team" were seen dancing and partying, maybe thinking they have done marvelously well. It's so disheartening that these cronies who surround him won't tell him the honest truth that he had just succeeded in dragging Nigeria to the mud. Nigerians I implore you to be very careful when electing your next president, cos if you choose wrongly you would suffer the consequences of your decision whilst they galavant across the globe lavishing your common wealth on their cronies and family. Our country hasn't fully recovered from Buhari's government you want to elect someone worse than him? Please shun tribalism and religious differences and make a decision that would be in the best interest of this country. |
Is this supposed to be an achievement? |
This one looks better and more preferable considering how unhygienic the regular aboki suya is. |
4teenblaq:When you know you clearly lack the means to achieve the goal within the time frame you set, it becomes unrealistic or false. Eg. You want to own a property in Lagos by February 2023, and as of December 2022, you don't even have a job let alone savings and you've concluded that the matter is in God's hands, and include it in your goals for next year. It becomes unrealistic cos you lack the means to achieve it within the given time frame. Or you're running an eatery business, and rather than improve on publicity in order to increase your customer base which would translate to higher income, you're projecting having branches in all the 36 States like the big shots which would include more staffs and more salaries. And you barely have the means to sustain the one branch your have let alone adding 36 more. Such goal becomes unrealistic cos you clearly don't have the means of achieving it within the given time frame you'll set. |
ahnie:If you carry out a thorough investigation on the OP's story, you'll see that the woman in question is most likely a house wife, who's fully dependant on the husband. And as the economic situation in the country gets worse, his budget for the home would keep depreciating and the wife would keep complaining, quarreling and abusing him, which in return would make him go violent on her. When a woman isn't adding any economic value to the life of her husband and home, he'll treat her like trash. And she wouldn't be able to leave because she configured herself to be dependent on a man. This is why I frown greatly at all these young girls who have decided to be lazy simply because they have a hole in-between their legs they believe can sustain. If you don't learn how to make money legally as a young girl, no man would respect you in your marriage, cos you'll be a liability to him, and after 3-5 kids, you'll loose the beauty that attracted him to you and become a complete defecit in his eyes. |
Lol...so suddenly he's going to meet with the president just like that. Now I sincerely believe what some people said that what triggered his release was because Southerners were rejoicing over his post on Deborah's murder. |
They look sick...guys really need to be very careful with the way they dive into girls these days. |
Urheadmaster:What destiny are you talking about... haven't you been reading his topics on this section? ![]() @op you need help, try seeing a therapist/counselor. |
It depends, if you must accommodate anyone temporarily, make sure he's gainfully employed...maybe he had accommodation issues, and needed somewhere to stay pending when he'll sort himself out. If that's the case I'd say open your doors to him, cos he won't be a parasite to you and would even assist in sorting out general bills. But if he has nothing doing, say like he relocated to your state for greener pastures, or just came up with some flimsy excuse to put up with you temporarily, my brother respectfully decline his request cos from experience, most jobless guys are chronic womanizers, they're home all day so they have all the time in the world to ask every single girl in the neighborhood out. Your house would most likely be converted into brothel. And every single drink in your fridge along with other provisions would be consumed without mercy by him and his numerous female visitors. He'll borrow little sums of money like 1-2k almost on a daily basis from you under the guise of going for interview and wouldn't pay back until you get fed up and stop giving him, he'll put on your clothes and shoes to go on dates without your permission, monies and other valuables would keep missing in your house and he'll deny ever seeing them, he'll collect provisions on credit from literally every shop in the neighborhood using your name as collateral. He'll be a thorn in your flesh and you'll keep quarrelling each day until you wouldn't be able to take it anymore and ask him to leave...my experience wasn't a funny one. That's why I've vowed never to engage in such unnecessary charity anymore |
I don't believe that karma exist. Karma is just some make believe theory people use to give themselves hope that whoever wronged them or whoever is doing wrong would pay for it sometime in the future...it's more like saying I'm leaving the matter to God. The reality of the matter is that if whoever wronged you is paying for the wrong doing, I can confidently tell you that it has nothing to do with karma, a guy can rapé a teenage girl, and years later he can get arrested for fraud, would you call that karma? Of course not. If you want justice get up and fight for it with all you've got. If karma was real, Germany should have been the poorest or most dangerous country on this planet based on the Holocaust and other murderous activities they carried out in WW2. But look at Germany today, they have one of the best economy in the world. If karma was real, All our evil leaders who has bleed this country shouldn't even get to 70 before dying miserable. Most are way above 80 and still as strong as ever. If karma was real, ritualist, kidnappers, rapists, murderers...etc, should all pay for their sins before leaving this world. But no, most of them even reach over 90 before they die, whereas their victims are killed in their prime. The term "Life isn't fair" has more reality that karma. |
Emilia154:1m cannot open a standard boutique in today's Nigeria even if you have a shop on ground and the money excludes shop rent. Interior decorations of the shop alone to give it a standard boutique look would swallow more than half of that 1m. You still need to do your CAC registration which would cost you close to 100k for business name and limited liability company. By the time you're done and decide to stock the shop with goods, you'd discover that your 1m principal has depreciated to less than 50k. The best you can do is to become an online boutique vendor, run a sponsored ad on Facebook book and Instagram advertising your products (it shouldn't cost you more than 5k) once the calls start coming in you liaise with all these delivery bikes and supply your goods to your customers. That way you'll save the hundreds of thousands you'll spend running a physical shop. At this point your 1m investment would really count. |
Bintabisiriyu:You want to relate and fall in love with a total stranger whose number you got from a public WhatsApp university group...lol. If you're looking for intellectual girls to relate and fall in love with, upgrade your LinkedIn profile and search them up. Whatever discussion you engage in would be profitable to you cos it would be in line with your career. Once in a while you can hangout and discuss your future together. Not some university WhatsApp group filled with hungry 2k babes. If you don't subscribe to hook-ups, you have no business in that group. |
N19,800 as a youth corper teaching in one village government secondary school where more than half of the pupils didn't understand English language. |
EvilRampage:You're just killing yourself slowly. If you work on the island, you can order for food online and it would be delivered to your office. Or better still get the phone number of food vendors within within your office and call and place your orders. Their sales girl would deliver the food directly to your office. Constant intake of sugar and other gaseous chemicals is dangerous to your health. |
biafraisdead:Try to be calming down. What he meant was marital value...it was stated clearly in his post. |
