Lol...you agbado urchins wouldn't cease to amaze me. As it stands Tinubu has only the south west in his pocket and it's going to be heavily contested with him by LP and PDP. The SE and SS would be won by LP with PDP having a reasonable number of votes there. The north you guys are boasting with have made it clear that they're standing behind Atiku, the recent decamping of APC party members in their thousands to PDP should have given you guys a hint of what's happening up north but you've refused to awake to reality. In case you don't know, this election is between Peter Obi and Atiku, tinubu is already out of it, cos he can't win Nigeria with heavily contested votes from the SW. And when he eventually agrees to a one on one interview with channels TV or Arise tv, he'll loose more than half of his followers cos his reasonable followers would see him for who he truly is. So stop living in delusion... |
I think your focus is in the wrong place. Its safe to say that your focus is on your dad. If you take your focus off from him and bring it to yourself, your future, your goals and dreams, the problem would be solved.. This is the kind of scenario that plays out in crazy families. The children hover around the parents, frustrated, but still granting them their selfish desires at the expense of their future. Parents who are this dysfunctional are not people you can hang around, visit, enjoy holidays and christmas with. They're are toxic people...They will never agree with you. They care less about you, and will always call you selfish and ungrateful. Do not try to convince your dad of anything. Simply tell him you don't have, let him think whatever he wants to think. That is not your concern. Your concern should be how to build your life as a youth. Finally I'll recommend that you get away from him...cos if you remain with such a dad, you would never achieve your life goals, he'll make sure he wrecks you with his selfish demands simply because he birthed you. |
What you're experience is completely normal. If you must run a successful business you must be tolerant, patient and slow to anger. If people perceive you to be hot tempered you'd be shocked at how far the rumors of your attitude would travel and even people who don't know where your shop is located would claim they've experienced your harsh temper. This my dear friend is bad for business. My advice... continue to tolerate them, you must know they it's not everyone who walks into your shop that would buy, some might leave because your price is higher than their budget, some just came to have an idea of the price...(I myself I'm guilty of such), sometimes I might just walk into a shop to have an idea of a particular item I might not actually want to buy it at the moment, but if the price is fair I can come back whenever I'm ready to buy it or direct someone who needs it to the shop. So calm down and continue to focus on your business... |
SqueezedPant:It wouldn't enter cos your lamp holder is pin fitting. Just return the bulb cos you wouldn't be able to make use of it unless you change your lamp holder to screw fitting. |
For your information, kids who were raised in strict Christian homes still end up as Yahoo boys, drug abusers, cultists, prostitutes...etc. It's all about your parenting skills. One of the major reason why most adopted kids turn out bad is due to segregation. They're always constantly being reminded that they're adopted, extended family uncles and aunts wouldn't fully accept them, cousins of their age bracket would be cold towards them (no thanks to their parents who told them that they are adopted and they have no root cos they can't trace them to any family), so in a bid to prove a point most of them seek solace in the wrong company...hence they end up becoming a nuisance themselves, their surrogate family, their environment and the country. The rule of the thumb is if you must adopt, you and your wife must keep it as a secret...anyone outside both of you mustn't be aware, cos if that child grows up knowing he's adopted, it might affect his mental health because he won't feel secure around you and would constantly be longing for his biological parents. |
Africa and power. The worse part is that this coupist would do absolutely nothing for the economy. They'll just continue looting from where the past president stopped. |
Take your time... we're solidly behind you. Nigeria will be great again. |
There's nothing special in preparing stew with 2,500. As a bachelor I prepare my stew on Sundays with a similar budget. Just buy shawa fish 700, fresh tomato and fresh pepper 800, power oil 200, grounded crayfish, 100, Maggi, 50, sachet curry 50, onion 100...stew don set... |
Southernigbo:Change your cycle of friends...not all guys reason this way. |
mespusinglez:Most of this things you wrote are for those who want to rent face me I slap you. If I'm renting a house what I check for is... 1. It must be an upstair... 2. The street where the house is located must be in a close...(this is for security reasons) 3. Must have ample parking space. 4. The house must have prepaid meter per flat. 5. There must be bore hole. (constant running water) If all these are present I don't care about whether or not my landlord resides there or if I have noisy neighbors cos it's a flat...once I enter my house and lock my door, nothing concern me with anybody. |
Osun ........ Maiduguri See them...empty headed criminals |
Better collect your 80% in his account and wait for his salary to drop before collecting the remaining 20%. Reason is that criminals like him don't usually last in their place of work. He could be sacked for the same reason his account was blocked and you'd be stranded cos he would just abandon the account. So collect what he has now and wait for his next salary and collect the remaining balance. |
Nomanlike:How many rivers did dangote, bill gates, Elon musk, mark Zuckerberg...etc bath in before becoming billionaires in dollars? Don't let anyone decieve you, if you must make it in this life, you must... 1. Change your cycle of friends...you can't surround yourself with failures and expect to be successful, they'll pull you down. 2. Work hard. 3. Ask God for favour and grace 4. Be positively minded. 5. Be creative. Sitting at a spot and blaming your ancestors for your ordeal wouldn't do you any good. Go out there and make a difference. |
Number one happened to a very close friend of mine recently...in fact the police was called into the matter. The guy opened a grocery store business with his girlfriend, they both contributed and opened it...the guy is working so the girl is the one managing it. They broke up and the girl claimed ownership of the business, whereas the guy spent over 5m partnering with her...the matter no be here. The truth is don't partner with anyone you haven't legally married cos if things go south, it won't be funny, the guy even involved the police to get the girl to give him is stake in the business the girl refused saying she doesn't have that kind of money besides she didn't beg him he was the one who openly suggested that he would invest so he shouldn't nag her, she would give him whenever she has the money. Number 4 isn't for Nigerians...I doubt if any man would comfortably move into a house rented and furnished by his girlfriend. I'd rather squat in an uncomfortable one room face me I slap you with my guys than move into a duplex rented and furnished by my girlfriend. Cos you'd loose every iota of respect she has for you the day you move in. She'll complain that you don't mop the floor, she'll nag you for using her electronics, in fact na you go taya run comot sef. You see that number 6 eeh...if your woman cheats on you, just let her be. If you forgive a cheating woman, she'll never respect you. She'll see you as a weak man, she'll cheat openly and rub it on your face by blaming you for her actions. Once she cheats, and you confirm it, sever all communications with her and move on. Number 7. I've seen a guy who threw a lavish birthday party for his girlfriend's mom only for them to breakup months later. There's a reason it's called relationship, don't go and start carrying load way nobody send you, if her husband and kids cannot throw a birthday party for their mom why should you who's only a boyfriend accept to do such? |
Lucyomolola:People who patronize prostitutes are mostly low lifers, guys suffering from low self-esteem, drunkards and drug addicts, bet9ja addicts, depressed and futureless guys...etc. People in this category would need to be delivered before talking about marriage... |
Do you know what 150m cash is? Right from the day you withdraw it in the bank, corrupt bank staffs would start tracking you. I won't even agree to carry such amount of money to deposit in the first place cos my life could be at risk. Now let's even say I agree to deposit it, and I receive a call that my boss is dead, I'll keep the money for myself, why if you might ask? My answer is simple, the money is clearly not his own, it's a dirty money and he's trying to use me as a conduit to do his dirty work. I'll simply keep the money for myself... |
This is why I strongly advice those in love to get tested for HIV and other STDs first, before anything else. The world is a wicked place. |
The world has been in danger since the days of Noah, we will all meet death eventually. The best we can do is to live right and bear in mind that one day we'll meet our maker. |
One of the things I love about this guy is his simplicity. So simple, he lives a very quiet life and tries so much to avoid social media even though he's the king of social media. I really admire his lifestyle.... congratulations to them. |

I can bet with my fake oramio earpiece I bought on Lagos traffic that the girl in question is less than 20 years of age. Teenage girls experiencing infatuation most times ask stupid questions to their lovers, most of these questions usually stem from novels they read, movies, discussions with their friends, fantasies they think about whenever they're alone...etc. The dangerous thing about some girls of this nature is that they're explorers, they would always want to try out something or someone new...so if you hear that someone else is bonking her, just know that I gave you a heads up. |
Why invite a worldly DJ in the first place? What stopped him from instructing his technical crew to move the church's speakers and amplifier to the reception venue and connect it to a laptop which would play only Christian songs for the guest. I've seen this happen several times in church weddings. But no...he invited a worldly DJ and got annoyed when the poor man got lost in the moment and decided to play secular songs thinking he was in a club. Apostle indeed. |
Fiscus105:Go back to my first reply where I asked him what was the reason why the pastor decided to advice the girl against marrying him... His response was that the pastor saw he has spiritual weapons.... If you must know...in as much as I'm a Christian, I'm not gullible, I ask questions cos whether or not you choose to believe it, there are millions of ritualists and criminals parading themselves as pastors. So whatever revelation you're giving me I must use my functioning brain to ponder if it's in accordance to God's word. From Genesis to revelation God himself never stopped any man from marrying the woman of his dreams...so if God didn't terminate the marriage of his children in the Bible for flimsy reasons, why should a human being whose spirituality I don't even trust dictate my future partner? |
Fiscus105:And what makes you believe the pastor saw anything? It's people like you that all these false prophets decieve with fake prophecy just to mislead and extort your hard earned money. If the man in question has spiritual weapons as the Pastor claimed to see, why not tell him to renounce them and offer deliverance prayers on him...isn't that the job of a Pastor? If all the pastor does is to see problems without solution then he's clearly not a child of God cos God doesn't reveal problems without providing a way out. |
Any day a woman hit you first as a guy, just know that you've lost every iota of respect she has (had) for you...woman are wired to naturally fear men, this means that no matter how saucy she might be, her madness wouldn't exceed shouting and distributing the neighbors. But to hit you...that's another higher level of madness. His life is at stake here cos she can kill him. My take...It's obvious that their union is devoid of love, so what's still keeping him in the marriage Last time I checked, divorce is still legal in Nigeria, and just about any lawyer can process it for you regardless of how low your budget is. Or is she threatening to deal with him if he divorces her? |
concho:One thing you have to understand about most pastors these days is that many of them act based on perception and not the by the leading of the Holy Spirit. If you're coming to marry their spiritual daughter and they don't like you, rather then be completely honest with their so called spiritual daughter that they don't really like you, they'll just tell the ignorant girl that God said you're not her husband. And the foolish girl would end everything you guys have laboured for simply because of one pastor who hasn't contributed a penny to her life. Sit her down and talk to her, make her understand that it's only her parents who have the right to air their opinion in whoever she wants to marry and not someone who's only connection to her is because she attends his church. If she remains adamant on standing by her Pastor's prophecy I'll suggest you just let her be. |
What was the reason her pastor gave her for you not being the ideal man for her after spending 4 years together? |
She overreacted... endangering her own life just to catch a cheating husband wasn't worth it at all. Rip to her. |
spearman:Please keep Igbos out of your mystery. This was how you guys attacked Igbos in 2015 because we refused to support Buhari...today see what Buhari has brought upon us. Last time I checked every Nigerian has the right to vote whoever he wishes to vote for. So whoever the Igbo man decides to vote for shouldn't be your problem. If you have any candidate in mind campaign for him and leave Igbos out of your miserable life. Buhari has just completed 8 years and you want us to vote another northerner Atiku who has spent over a decade investing billions into various elections...and there have been video evidence of him playing santa up North with monies entering into billions. And you expect us to believe that those monies he spent over the years were for charity that he won't recoup it once he assumes office? It's obvious that you guys aren't tired of suffering. Whether or not Peter Obi wins is none of my business. I'm voting my conscience. |
henndukwe18:Go back and read my previous post I never said anywhere that she's cheating. My submission was that she cares less about him. When you care about someone everything that concerns him would mean a lot to you. When you care less, he would be the one to keep reminding you that you forgot his birthday, and other things that mean a lot to him. |
I'm glad he's tracing back his footsteps. That church is notoriously judgemental towards people. I believe that's the reason why youths avoid them like plague. |
That Grandma clothing you see her putting on is what she was trained to put on from birth, and believe me, she's already comfortable in it. So how do you expect her to change the way she's been dressing all these years for you who just came into her life yesterday...it's impossible....even if you give her money for shopping, she clearly wouldn't know how to select what you would find attractive. So my advice for you is that you take her out to where they sell female wears and buy what you like for her so that whenever you're coming to see her, she'll put it on....if you can't do that, then you'd just have to get used to the way she dresses. |
