I think you can, but I could be wrong. I have not seen any government notice stating otherwise (especially for England).

People are allowed to isolate in homes of family members/friends who have jobs etc so why not a hostel?

Especially if the facility in question has made provision for that and accepts their booking.

That said, happy to change my stand if shown anywhere that it's states otherwise.

4. Its advisable you do. You will have to add his passport number. If you two aren't cool it might be tricky. You don't have to stay with them though.

I’ve had a bad experience with Dante labs. Night test kits last week and got them delivered early this week. Did the tests on Thursday and sent results via Royal Mail priority box same day(before 9am). My results came in yesterday but my wife’s after we missed our flight today(as she was yet to get her results). Those guys are terrible and avoid them when planning test to fly.

Does anyone have a reliable and cost effective test provider for fit to fly(out of the UK back to Naija) and for which results can be obtained same day.

Okay. I find it largely depends on the location (which state you are in). In Abuja, Zenith/Access Bank has almost always come through for me. But most banks mostly have at the same and experience shortage at the same time. Once there was a shortage someone recommended I try the smaller banks as they might not have exhausted their quota for the week. Try put in the request at least a week before your trip that way even if there is a shortage you there's some time for it to resolve before your trip.

I read online and was made to understand that the CBN Governor, has banned BDC (Bureau De Change) and have halted their activities.


This country is really frustrating a lot of people, first they restricted withdrawal of dollars into the Naira account, they said we should open a Dom. Account and we complied, now we have dollars in it, fine! After we asked for withdrawal of the hard currency we got it quit alright, but to change it to our own currency is now a big problem.


Please I need answers, how can I change my dollars now.

BDC aren't banned. CBN just stopped selling dollars to them. Banning and not selling dollars to them are two different things.

You can change at any BDC

The main issue isn't the travel history, you were refused because of your finances. Your finances isn't clear. Why would you want to spend ×5 your monthly income for 20 days? Explain the large sums deposited in your account.

although I have had 3 previous schengen visas but I have had 2 uk visit visa refusals too due to unexplained large deposits in my account.

Regards home ties I have documents for landed property and registered business with bank account and care taking of both my aged parents i am also married with two children expecting the third. My question is can I add pregnancy test results which will show EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE to indicate another stronger home tie or reason to return home ? Lol is this necessary or are my going too far?

I don't think a pregnancy is a home tie. I feel one can jump to the conclusion that you intend to give birth in the UK which raises another issue (i.e depending when your due date is at). That said, home ties are ideally things that would ideally bring you back home. Things you leave in your country of residence to travel. Hence it's a home tie. Things you can travel with e.g your pregnancy does not tie you to Nigeria

Aren't there daycares abroad? So many mothers relocate with their kids for studies.

And there's nothing absolutely wrong in using school as a means of permanent relocation.

Which means if we cancel now, before she will get refund it's going to affect the process of applying for her to write the exam. Please house urgent advice pleaseoooo.

But if you don't mind me asking how did you arrive at the initial amount? was there ever a payslip that had that amount after tax? I don't think it's a huge issue though as it could be worse i.e you saying much more than your payslip shows.

Just add the payslip as it is, do your biometric and hope for the best outcome.

I don't understand these guys. My Passport came out yesterday. I was given a single entry and less than 1 month. I dont know what is going on. My last Schengen was one year. I also did 1 year of insurance so i don't know why they would give me a 1-month single entry. Although i applied in Abuja and i have been using Lagos for over 12 years now.

This shouldn't be a factor

You can call the DHL customer service. They might be able to help. Normally they deliver to the address given i.e recipient doesn't have to come pick it up unless you used a DHL office as the delivery location.

On the TLC form my mom was issued when she got her finger captured "bio-metric" there is a number (waybillno- 288531) this is our first time going through this process. Please can someone work us through the process of collecting the passport. Thanks

That said some foreign banks offer that as additional service if the customer desires.

State what's in the payslip in the cover letter. It makes no sense to write a range if the payslip does not support that claim.

Please check out KPMG, PwC, Deloitte. You don't need to know someone there to be hired. Once you pass the exams, have at least 2:1 and is within the age criteria. The pay structure is also great for entry-level

Is that what she receives in her payslip? Write the take home in the payslip. If the take-home fluctuates grossly across all her payslips and is within the range you stated then use what you stated

UK you pick your duration(6mnths, 2yrs etc) from a list and pay the stipulated visa fees for that category

US normally gives 2yrs
