Go for the job that will offer you stability and professional growth. Onyi90: Good evening great minds of Nairaland. Please i need your honest contribution. I currently work with a private clearing company that pays me weekly allowance of #30,000 - #35,000 and a monthly salary of #60,000 totalling 180 - 200 thousand every month. However, I was among successful shortlisted candidates of a paramilitary agency recruitment exercise of the FG as a BSC holder. I made enquiry on the start up pay and discovered is around #75,000- #83,000 for my level entry. I don't know if i should go for the federal job with a lesser pay or remain with my current job. NB: Date to resume to the training camp for the FG job is just around the corner. Honest thought are welcome. |

Romance › Re: After Introduction, I’m Seeing Too Many Red Flags by Ndipe(m): 1:53am On Jun 24, 2021 |
Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior. Hasnt he acknowledged this truth in his life or are you discriminating against him because he is not a pentecostal? mugnmuffin: Dear Nairalanders, I have an issue that has been on my mind for weeks now. My fiancé and I have been dating for over three years. I love him and he loves me too. We are physically attracted to each other. We’re both catholic but since I graduated, during my service year I gave my life to Christ, got saved and left the Catholic Church. So I’ve been a Pentecostal Christian since then. He on the other hand is still catholic. I subtly try to nudge him to consider getting saved, i.e acknowledging Christ as lord and savior and becoming born again but he is content with his laidback Christian life.
Earlier this year, he asked to meet my parents and I let him. My parents like him especially because my younger sis is married and they have been waiting for me too. They’re glad I’ve someone. However, after the introduction,I regret it. I’m now certain that he’s not the one. I think about my spiritual life and how lukewarm he is about the things of God, I think about kids and how we’ll raise the, with such differing views about God and I’m discouraged. I feel like I’m settling because he checks all the boxes on the checklist of physical attributes. Another mistake I made is, I didn’t pray about this decision and that worries me because anything that involves him,I just act with pausing to ask God, but I always ask God about other aspects of my life. So it’s like my associating with him is a minus for my spiritual life and that’s a huge cause for concern.
At this point, I want to tell my parents I am not convinced it’s him but I’m afraid of the disappointment this will cause. *sigh* I’ll appreciate your thoughts, comments, criticisms... |

What mineral resources do those countries that you listed below have compared to Nigeria with its massive oil revenues that are pocketed into the bank account of a select cabal of corrupt people at the detriment of the masses? Please dont celebrate mediocrity by stating that Nigeria is a better country in terms of employment compared to the ones that you listed. There is no justification whatsoever for the high unemployment rate and hardship in the country. BigDawsNet: 10 countries with the highest rates of unemployment:
Burkina Faso (77.00%) Syria (50.00%) Senegal (48.00%) Haiti (40.60%) Djibouti (40.00%) Kenya (40.00%) Republic Of The Congo (36.00%) Marshall Islands (36.00%) Namibia (34.00%) Kiribati (30.60%) By Country 2021
Nigeria is actually abetter country to citizens of those countries above |

Great-granddaughter not granddaughter. bunto: Wow! You are right! Awolowo's granddaughter did marry this thieving MD's son last year. Excerpt from Ovation: "Similarly well-educated and from a privileged background, Anthony Atuche schooled at the historic St Edmund’s College, England’s oldest Catholic school, before attending the prestigious Imperial College , London. Anthony also boasts an impressive and illustrious background; he is the first born of prominent businessman and erstwhile top banker, who is now a property magnate, Francis Atuche and wife, Elizabeth Atuche. The Atuches are also nobility and hail from the princely merchant town of Ibusa, Delta State, which is famed for the numerous entrepreneurs and icons of the Nigerian business and corporate world that it has spawned.
It was without any shadow of doubt the coming together of two illustrious families when the duo began their love-filled journey to marital bliss as friends and family convened to celebrate their traditional marriage at the prestigious and discreet The Bell Event Centre on Campbell Street, Lagos Island. The ceremony was an exhibition of culture and class." |
