Where is PROOF that the fellow lost his manhood? None! The ignorant crowd only exacted this jungle justice on a presumably innocent man because he looks different from them. Tomorrow, the same crowd will complain of injustice from the government and police. God dey! |

alarinjo: Nigerian Communities: Argentina And Other "unusual" Places
During a conversation with a white friend of mine I mentioned that Nigerians are one of the most diffused people in the world. She was doubtful and wondered if there were any Nigerians in Argentina. I assured her that there must be, but unfortunately could not give her any proof of my claim.
Anyone have info on Nigerian communities in Argentina particularly, and any other places around the world where some wouldn't expect to find black people? If there is a Nigerian embassy in Argentina, I am inclined to assume that there would be Nigerians living there as well. |

All that glitters is not gold. The man that you are idealizing as a worthy brother in-law and a gem comes off as very demanding and unreasonable. Certainly cant put pressure on a girl to take in for him before marrying her and then take her to the UK (or the States which one?). Your sister lost her marriage unfortunately, let her bid her time and not cave into pressure by sleeping with this man who is not even her husband. If the man is serious, let him do a court wedding first before conjugal relationship and if he is afraid that she might be barren, let her two kids serve as a reminder that she is fertile. |

baldboy: It was thankful because, if they hadn't been joined before the fracas, the wedding might not continue. Is either the groom left angrily with his family, or the bride left with her's.
But I guess it would even been better, if they hadn't been joined. The wedding should just end on the spot. I disagree with you. Better for the couple to have called off the engagement and parted ways than to get married then divorce afterwards. A broken engagement is always better than a broken marriage. |

baldboy: My own experience
There was a heated argument between the groom's mum and the bride's, which later escalated into a full-blown fight.
The bride was also supporting her mother, thereby physically confronting her inlaw also.
When the groom later heard about it, come see slap on the bride's face. He almost slapped the mother inlaw face sef. He was just chattering: you and your mother are witchs. How dare you treat my mother like that!
Thankfully it was after they've been joined as one.
What engendered the initial fight is what I don't know.
But I heard the marriage later broke, couple months after. Why is it thankful that the fracas occured after they were joined together? |
