Nice. |
Is this a joke or what? The girls were kidnapped and later on returned back to the government with a warning that girls shouldnt enroll in school? Is this for real or just a political gimmick? |
Tragic. May his soul rest in peace in Jesus Name, Amen. |
And what is the name? |
I am in support of the unifacation of Africa, just like the USA, but how many African countries will be willing to come under one umbrella? |
It's booming in Lagos. How about places like Uyo? |

Interesting. When Bianca Onoh, who was the "Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria" made headlines for her romantic relationship with Ojukwu back in 89, Ben Bruce of Silverbird Productions that organized the MBGN and Miss Intercontinental pageant was so mad at her that he made plans to dethrone her. Somehow, Bianca preempted it by immediately resigning her titles. Both of them each gave different versions on her departure, Bruce said he dethroned her because of her affair with Ojukwu, while Bianca insisted that she simply resigned to continue her education. Regina Askia, the first runner-up, instead took over Bianca's spot. Who would have thought that Ojukwu (who created the fracas between Bianca and Bruce) would be honored by the same organization as Silverbird Man of the Year down the road? Or that Bianca would grace the occasion to receive the award and thank Ben Bruce in her speech while accepting the award? Meanwhile here is a picture of them at a function. http://ejikemekingsley..com.ng/2017/07/photos-senator-ben-bruce-and-bianca.html |
Sad. Some people think that you sow so that you can reap bountifully. Probably motivated by greed. |
Thank God they did not drown. |
The National Theatre at Iganmu is indeed a National Monument that can serve as a tourist attraction filled with our indigenous arts and crafts, masks and sculptures. Another avenue for Nigeria to make money. We shouldnt just rely on dwindling oil revenues. |
Good one. |

How does the Yoruba story of Oduduwa descending from Heaven aided by a piece of rope tie in with the supposed claim of the Ooni of Ife that Ile-ife was where Adam and Eve were created? |

Our Government doesnt invest in education that is why our educational facilities are decaying and some of our students are fleeing to nearby countries like Ghana for education. It's a shame. Nigeria that was recognized for its ivory tower like University of Ibadan has completely neglected that sector. |
Cut off those apron strings, dude, you are an adult. Tell her you wont engage in premarital sex. |
Same here, I'd like to visit Ghana. |
if a young girl becomes pregnant from rape, what should be the alternative? |
Doubtful. According to what I read, he didnt dress up as a woman to escape, but was freed. I am not defending him though |
Embarrassing. |
This is very tragic and this sort of tragedy always makes me how God loves me so much that He sent a physical angel to rescue me. This is a true life story. Less than three weeks after my admission into boarding house at Lutheran High School, Obot Idim, I was excited to learn that there was a nearby stream in one of the villages that was close to my school. That afternoon, I tagged along with some of my school mates, jumped inside and went deeper and deeper inside the stream. When I tried to emerge, I was unable to. Instead, I was sinking deeper and deeper inside the mud while gulping water. My dad and my mum (who was pregnant with my last sibling) were in Calabar, unaware that one of their sons was about to drown to death. And in the stream, I said to myself, "If nobody rescues you, you are going to perish." God saw my plight and intervened. There was an outcry as students sounded an alarm about my predicament. Ita Oku dove inside the water and pulled me out safely to the banks of the river. I wasnt shaken, or dwelt on my close shave with death. Infact, I still visited the stream on a very regular basis to play with my friends afterwards. But somehow, I was conscious enough not to stray inside the deeper part of the stream. Now, here is the story. Few years after my close encounter with death, I went to that same stream with some of my mates and saw a bicycle parked at the corner of the stream. We were puzzled until we learnt that a fellow villager had gone to the stream and drowned to death. Proof of it was the bicycle. I recently got in contact with Ita Oku after a long long time and we still stay in touch. I sometimes wonder if God hadnt been merciful to me, I would have drowned to death which would have created unimaginable sorrows particularly in the lives of my parents and my siblings. My parents till they passed on, were unaware of it. Seven months later, my mum put to bed a baby girl. She got married recently and I was the one walked her down the aisle, God is wonderful in Jesus Name, Amen. |
And what did he gain in this war that destroyed innocent lives and turned kids into orphans? Absolutely nothing. |
Tragic. May their souls rest in peace in Jesus Name, Amen. |
Yes. |

AFONAMARO:Well, the ones that serve no purpose including one that denies a child the right to know who their father is, because of an outdated and anti-progressive tradition. |
AFONAMARO:Such tradition should be abolished. |
