igbsam:
And you call that ridiculous ? My friend got married to an owerri girl last year. He paid a bride price of N2.5million, after which, he bought the wedding materials for all the relatives, from the mother, to the father down to the uncles and aunties, the sisters and cousins including nephews. He was also give 2 family members to train in school and business. After 8months of the wedding.....the bride's father demanded for a car and the father specifically asked for a 2005 c-class Mercedes Benz Car which he borrow money to buy for him. The mother asked for some money to fill her shop with stocks which my friend is still finding it difficult to give her. Isn't this ridiculous ?
Greed.

Godmother:
Its so sad that when a company is being acquired most times a lot of the staff get sacked. Its worse in this case because these people didn't see the sack coming
.

It happened here in Silicon Valley. I read of some employees who had to train people who lived abroad, unaware that these trainees were actually their replacement and that their jobs were about to be outsourced to them.

This kind of stuff happens a lot of times, people taking one's loyalty for granted, or worse taking them for a dummy. It's unfortunate.

Please if there's anyone that has the Dark Child by Camara Laye, don't hesitate to share. Seriously I really need to place my hand on this book. I'm desperate about it.

I read a short passage in an English text which was taken from this novel when I was in Jss 2 and there's something about the passage that caught my interest and attention, which further made me to trace the location of the passage to the afore mentioned novel.

My English tutor also recommended it to us during a session therefore any doubts of it being intriguing and insightful were washed off but up till now I'm still in search for it.

And I don't want to buy from Amazon or any of the ebook sites cause their method of payment is too complicated.

Christianity EtcRe: Did God Create People Before Adam And Eve? by Ndipe(m): 3:25am On Mar 01, 2017
Goshen360:
There's no confusion with God but with men. You have to STUDY with understanding. Genesis have two creation record. One was in a bullet form kind of and the other in "how" it was done form kind of. God created ONLY ONE MAN - Eve in ADAM and so, God didn't have to create Eve again but only took her OUT FROM Adam. If they were many God created, why don't God or Adam find Eve from other women?

There is a man I know in the flesh on this forum that teach such heretic teachings that God created many people not only Adam. Such is NOT right! If God created many people, then who sinned first that we all have to be made sinner because the whole nation was IN that ONE MAN?
WAO! I really do like your answer.

stagger:
I remember her obvious knocked knee deformity which was very glaring when she contested the Miss World as Nigeria's representative. In my young mind then, I was like: how did a woman with "k-legs" win the MBGN, especially after we had witnessed Nike Oshinowo, Bianca Onoh, etc wear that crown?

It was a travesty then and I think her future husband had something to do with that decision, because it was an awful decision.
Certain Nigerian periodicals had questioned her victory as MBGN 1989 when it was revealed that Kesse Jabari, her then boyfriend (now her husband) was an employee of Silverbird. One had insinuated that it had been rigged. But Sabina had discredited this allegation by revealing that she had contested back in 87 (when Jabari was still with Silverbird) and lost to Omasan Buwa.

When did Nigeria stoop to this shameful level? I mean, people condemn corruption yet, welcome this man with open arms. An irony indeed.

Koranga:
Regina did NOT win the Miss Charm contest that took place in Russia. She represented Nigeria there but never made it back with the crown. Hope her daughter is more successful in this aspect because the only contest Reggie has ever won is Miss Unilag. MBGN was by default and a 'hand me down.'
Yeah, but she was robbed of the MBGN crown in 1988.

FamilyRe: Her Six Months Old Baby Gazes Sternly At Her During Sex- She's Worried. by Ndipe(m): 1:23am On Dec 24, 2016
It is not advisable to have sex with your husband in the presence of your baby. Baby program things a lot on their infantile mind. For instance, when you move to a new place from your former place with your baby, you will notice that they will be staring at their new environment looking for familiar faces and places, it's the same with people, when a baby gets attached (and at a young age) to a particular family member, in their absence, they sometimes act uncomfortably, scanning around for the familiar face. So, doing this in your baby's presence, is certainly not fair, it's unacceptable, what are you guys thinkinghuh

Yieldings:
Those who're good know they also have to be in a good academic standing if they want to get scholarships to play in college, so I doubt they would let their education take the back seat.
But it does at times, check out professional basketball players who dumped their education to get drafted. Is that wrong? Certainly not, one has to hustle. But how about those who do not have such opportunities to get drafted, yet, are hopeful to the detriment of their studies?
