Pettiness! Guys dont care but I just wonder why women care about wearing an identical outfit as a fellow guest, yet at wedding ceremonies, they are the first to line up to buy identical aso-ebi. |
http://www.doveministries.com/catalog/tb-joshua/about-tb-joshua dunno if the video is true or not, but read the above |
New government, new ventures, that's what's killing Nigeria, when a new administration takes over, they quickly abandon (in a lot of cases) their predecessor's pet project and concentrate on creating a new one to make a name for themselves. That can also explain the numerous elephant projects in the country. na contract dem wan chop |
BTT: This is traumatising! OMG! Are they aware of the trauma they are putting this family through at all?I cant, wouldnt do that not even for any prize, I will drive or kill the vulture and save the life of that young child. Greed causes people be inhumane and that was inhumanity on his part. You have heard of the journalist who captured the picture of a viet soldier shooting to death another fellow and he was highly criticized for this behavior? |
Good and creative work! |
crass, tasteless, like waiting for the man to die so they would be the first to break the news! How low can they go? |
I am impressed. |
Hands on father, keep it up and happy fatherhood. cheers. |

ifyalways: I used it then. Chewing stick and ground charcoal.twas good.Charcoal is good for the teeth, but I agree with you, the limitation with using chewing stick is how to clean the tongue. Some people use the strands from palm wine trees to clean their tongues. |
twogood: Man is destined to die ONCE and after that to face judgement. Heb 9:27. Don't think there'll be time to appear in different places.I trust in God's Word, Amen. |
People have too much time on their hands for silly and unfounded rumors. A while back I heard this sardine called Queen of the coast was named after a mermaid and people should abstain from eating it. |
Emerges winner in global chemistry competition By COSMAS OMEGOH Not too long ago in China, an avalanche of honours fell on Nigeria's path. It happened when one of her unsung heroines surprised the world by claiming a coveted prize at a recent edition of the ChinaNano Science Conference. Her work in the field of Nano science and technology - an aspect of chemistry – won the best prize, outclassing over 1,000 other entries. In the eyes of world's best scientists, Nigeria's profile rose sky-high like mercury in a test tube. British-born Nigerian, Dr (Miss) Geraldine Echue helped this to happen when she gave the country the rare opportunity. It was something to be proud about when her presentation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences was adjudged the best in its category. After some painstaking consideration, a panel of judges at the conference gave the verdict that placed Dr Echue in the league of world's rising chemists. She felt like exploding when it was announced that her work had significantly contributed to learning and extended the frontiers of Material Science. She gave experts from various lands and climes a handful and a conviction that Nigeria is never short of the power to surprise. For her effort, she was rewarded with the conference's top prize, some traditional Chinese Art paper, and a certificate of participation amid ovation. The ovation came down on her like sheets of rain - unrestrainedly flowing from thousands of thankful hearts Dr Echue, 27, was born and raised in England by her parents who hail from Okwelle, in Onuimo Local . . . http://odili.net/news/source/2013/aug/21/523.html |
"Or even a huge company with good salary package." I think this story is fake. |
Several vaccines for malaria have been developed over the past few decades, but none offer complete protection. Now, for the first time, US researchers have developed a vaccine that protects 100% of those given five doses of the vaccine. Caused by Plasmodium parasites, malaria affects more than 200m people annually. According to the World Health Organisation, in 2010 malaria killed 660,000, most of them children. GlaxoSmithKline’s Mosquirix is the most advanced malaria vaccine currently being tested. It protects against Plasmodium falciparum, the most deadly of the parasites. But, as Brian Greenwood of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine told The Conversatio , “Mosquirix is only about 50% effective when given to older children and even less effective (about 30%) when given to young infants with routine vaccines. A better vaccine with a higher level of protection is needed.” The new vaccine, dubbed PfSPZ, has been developed by Sanaria, a US biotech firm, in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) . . . http://theconversation.com/new-malaria-vaccine-the-first-to-offer-complete-protection-16862 |

Ada Nri1: Nice. They look young in some of the pics and older in others. You are right, the guy looks very young in the trado picture and older in the white wedding pic |
lately, I have been reading this trend on Nigerian social media of relatives, particularly men, having sexual relations with their daughters. I am beginning to suspect that some of these stories are simply made up/fake, by journalists to conjure emotions and sell their papers. Lets no accept every stuff in the media as the ultimate truth. Some journalist simply fake stories. |
No self-respecting man would do so. |
Henry praise: i remembered falling sick and laying allegation on my class mate in kg2, the dude later got expelled, however, karma caught up wit me and in ss2, i was expelled from school. karma is alive and activeMe and my senior brother used to do that, tying a piece of rope to resemble a snake, and then cast it in front of our fence while we sat and enjoyed people's reactions. My brother once stole nabisco biscuit from my mom and I ratted him out to my mom. So, out of gratitude in showing her where the biuscuit were, she gave me some. When my brother found out the biscuit was missing, he blamed our younger brothers and absolved me of the blame. He told them that he wont buy them any treats and I never confessed that I was the one who ratted him out. Instead, he would buy me stuff and refuse to share it with them. I felt so stricken with guilt that I would share any treats he gave me with them, so, I came off as a good and caring brother to our younger brothers a good son to my mother and a trusted accomplice to my senior brother. Wao!!! |
braveheart2012: This thread is yet another prime example of colonized Nigerian minds at work tearing each other apart. That country can't see progress, I swear it.And she did submit her work to be considered for the Caine Prize a while back, do you remember that? |
Some of us have read of the "Aba women's riots" that occured when women had no major say in the society. |
