PointB: The fraud outlined in this article is mind-boggling. Yet we don't see the Ghana-must-go activist hit the street to protest. But I must blame the PDP and opposition elements in Lagos state for going to sleep on the responsibility. Lagos state has gone to theUnfortunately, what we have here may be fraudulent but it appears legal. These are the people who Michael Jackson (RIP) referred to as "Smooth Criminals", as opposed to sloppy learners like Odua. Either way, both types of criminals should be dealt with accordingly. The ordinary Lagosian is not sophisticated enough to understand these deals let alone, accept that fraud was involved, and this may explain the lack of outrage. In the case of Odua, even uneducated illiterates understand the abuse. |
Jarus: I also saw suddenly saw a lizard on my windscreen while driving two days ago. I staggered to park. Somebody helped me drive it home. I have not touched teh car till now.Haba Jarus!! Tony Spike: This is a recent article from Punch Newspaper on the Kiriji Wars. It is dated September 16th, 2013.That will go under the classification: Tales by the moonlight. How can illiterate Obas sign any treaty which they can't read? I question the detailed accounts of these wars reported by one or two 'historians'. In my opinion, their accounts were made up. I stand corrected as soon as someone can show me detailed and verifiable bibliographies to support their accounts. Nonesense Katsumoto has now become the harbinger truth as far as the history of Kiriji wars is concerned. Only gullible people will believe unverifiable accounts simply because it was stated by some oversexed internet champion. SMH |
Deschil: Maybe you and your people haven't had an experience with Fulanis yet. I do not hate them but I am appalled by the degree of their wickedness. Unfortunately, it is not just the fulanis in Nigeria, fulas all over West Africa are incredibly wicked.jjc ka ibu |

Where were the law enforcement agencies when Nigerians took the law into their hands for three days straight? The answer to this question should be the focus of your concern and protests, but alas, tribalism and hatred for anything Fulani, has beclouded your better judgements. This tribalism of yours is what guarantees that you people will remain enslaved by the thieving powers that be, for many years to come. Nonesense. |
some mumus do not believe in the rule of law. |
You are jubiliating over the murder of God's children. olote |

0lumide: NO SANITY, NO CHANGE, YET WE ARE IN A STILL REVOLVE IN THE CYCLE OF CORRUPTION!^^^ +100% We are ripe for Sergeant Doe's type of situation. Enough is enough. |
The federal government does not have jurisdiction over state and local income or corporate taxes. Tinubu's companies do not collect federal taxes for the FG. Though I believe he is making too much money from tax collection for Lagos state, hr id still sitting pretty. |
Rexxie: what do u mean by constitutional amendments going on at the nass? Do those grunts ever take anything serious? What about the lopsidedness, when a particular section refuses to support a motion simply cos it in d interest of others like the PIB? We are gonna have the conference and the top 10 agenda of the equally represented conference would be making its outcome binding n da confab sovereign n we see whos gonna start whinning....But subjecting the output of the conference to ratification by NASS is exactly GEJ's chosen path. Are you a learner? |
mikeansy: That's a lieThese same people have been given the opportunity to make submissions to the Senate Committee on Constitutional Review and many have done so. The vast majority of you people who have stakes in the constitutional amendment did not attend any of the zonal meetings where you had the opportunity to make your voices heard. You people are jokers and are unserious about rmaking real changes. You don't need another process to help facilitate the amendment. It is not too late to make submissions to the committee on the review. What's stopping you. Ohaneze along with many other groups made great submissions. This conference is another fund raiser for 2015. shi kena |
^^^I dare Sani -and the northern Oligarchs he speaks for- to call for a 'sovereign' national conference!
There is currently an ongoing constitutional amendment process which is yet to play out to its conclusion. What is the point of this conference commissioned by GEJ if not a distraction? The President has told his conference nominees that whatever solution they profer must stengthen the nation, i.e. the entity Nigeria. It is clear that most of the people calling for a 'sovereign national conference' are calling for a conference to determine how the country will be broken up. FYI: the splitting up of the country would be suicidal to GEJ and all the power brokers in Nigeria. Anyone who believes that these same power brokers will cnvene a SNC, needs to have his/her head examined. Its not going to happen. I'm afraid you people will continue to live in slavery until you throw them out by force. Think Arab Spring. |
WTF!! You mean they haven't buried her yet? |
russellino: The northern elite cried blue murder when GEJ proposed a "sovereign conference". Whatever the semantics, dem no born NASS well to resist the yearnings of the ppl. It will be put to vote so let everybody who has been an armchair critic get their Reps to do what they want done which is a referendum.Only a foolish person would not acknowledge that NASS represents the people. The fact remains that both NASS and the President cannot operate outside the constitution of our great country. You people are too timid to force your leaders to convrne a true SNC. You couldn't even sustain the fuel subsidy protest becaude of tribalism. SMH |
ayili: they have concluded that it isn't meaningful, when its terms and agenda has not being set. how did dey come to that conclusion?Whatever comes out of this conference is not binding until debated in NASS and included in the constitution after appropriate state approvals. Do not be decieved. |
atlwireles: Pretenders never change. Now they don't want a conference but a constitutional amendment. Give them a constitutional amendment, they will throw up another name.In your haste to criticize APC, you missed the most important point. I repost it here so that you can find an interpreter in case we have an issue of English comprehension. If it is a clear or meaningful national dialogue, we will participate, but this isn’t. The President himself has said whatever is discussed will be subjected to National Assembly. So, what you are having is a constitutional amendment. You and others can continue to bury your heads in sand. Katsumoto: Here to cause division as usual. Not true. You guys painted a ugly picture of pompousity in you initial dismissal of his idea - much like Akure wil never be considered. You even threatened war. I think Desi baby is on heat. |
The outright dismissal of DeLaRue's idea by Mallam Negro and Kats, is enough signal to Ondo people that they must fight very hard or they will be sidelined and marginalized by Ojuyobo and co. If the SW ever becomes a single political and economic entity. Why does the idea of a Akure capital shake you up so? |
