Katsumoto: At least the 'bigotry' here is online. Can one compare it with the bigotry that results in actual murders of mass people? In what region have most Nigerians died since Nigeria was formed?
One would have thought that you were sophisticated enough to understand that what you call 'online bigotry', influences the thoughts of your children who are or will be reading your posts, soon enough. Stop pretending to be naive.

Here you go again, pointing out that the bigotry of your region is not as bad as that of other regions! Oro yi ti su mi. cheesy

Katsumoto: How do you suggest they team up? How do you suggest they team up? And what have the Northerners done against their own thieving elites? Some of the richest Northerners are ex-military and politicians. Yet the North has the highest rate of illiteracy, infant mortality, highest proportion of child brides, highest number of VVF sufferers, highest number of religious and ethnic conflict. What have you done together with your brothers to fight these menaces? Instead you are here acting as a self-appointed umpire.

What do you expect Yoruba folks to do. They were the most vociferous group when Patricia Etteh, Bode George, Bankole, Tafa Balogun were indicted. Do you know why Yoruba has the highest number of convicted corrupt officials? Because Yoruba will never protect thieves when there is evidence of wrong doing. Is it only Yoruba that has corrupt officials? Development on ground in all regions disagrees with such a suggestion. When will other groups stop protecting the thieves in their midst?

It is wrong to lump everyone together when it is obvious to all that Yoruba don't protect thieves. OBJ was president when SM Awoniyi died in prison, Etteh was stripped and disgraced, Tafa Balogun was disgraced and imprisoned.

What list do you want me to provide?
You people can start by reducing the Yoruba vs Igbo cat fights you have in almost everyother thread on NL. Even a blind man is aware of your daily wars. In the meantime, I'd suggest that you start another thread with the purpose of seeking ways to team up and fight the powers, unless you are bent on derailing this one.

As far as this thread is concerned, the buck clearly stops with Oduah. As I stated earlier, when Fashola unconstititutionally and illegally deported Nigerians to Ogun, Oyo, or Anambra, many Yoruba posters gave him a pass just as my Igbo brothers are willing to give Oduah a pass in this case. The reasons for this irrational behavior by you people is tribalistic bigotry, pure and simple.

I stand by my ealier points.

Katsumoto: If you want to call people out, do so instead of cowardly lumping folks together in a bid to mask your true intentions. What do you take issues with? State them and stop pontificating.
hahahaha, you don't get to tell me how to express my views - you know better than that. I only see 2 sets of fools in this matter, the Yoruba tribalist fools and the Igbo tribalist fools, who, instead of teaming up to fight thieving leaders from both Yorubaland and Igboland, are here engaging in useless cyber warfare.

If you don't fall in the category of these fools, you don't have to worry. These people know themselves and their posts clearly show who they are. There is no need, in my view, to name them.

If it'll make you feel better, please make a list available to everyone.

Katsumoto: Meanwhile did anyone notice how Alhaji ndu-chuks introduced the deportation saga into the thread in a bid to further heat up the thread?
Your diversionary tactics have failed upon introduction. I couldn't heat the thread up higher than you people have done stop pretending not to understand the points I've made. We know better.

I've been thrown under the bus in disappointment after disappointment, by some of my favorite posters in this section - both Igbos and Yorubas.

The last nail will be deployed once poster mikeansy shows up and installs the final nail. I remain faithful that he will stay above the fray, but one never knows

PapaBrowne: In light of all the mess, I have decided that sleaze/sanctity/morality/intergrity etc are not one of my criteria for judging performance. So my judgement is strictly based on performance.
Wow. What mentality!!! What an admission!!! Your position is clearly unmistakeable, case closed.

Hmmmm. Musa Kwankwaso warned Aviation Minister, Princess Stella Oduah, not to prevent foreign airlines from doing business in Kano.
The governor said: “If she (minister) wants to sleep well, she should allow all foreign airlines to come to Kano for business.”

I'm not so sure Oduah is sleeping well even after succumbing to Kwakwanso's request.

Politics › Re: Open Secret: Beware! Not Only Oduah, Many More Are In Their Crosshairs by nduchucks:
birdman: Stop revising history man. The strongest lie is the one that mixes in a portion of truth. Fashola wasnt criticized when he deported indigenes back to Ogun and Oyo either. So not criticizing the Anambra deportation does not in any way make "the same people" as you put it hypocrites. If anything, they are consistent regardless of tribe

I hear you that we need to stop tribalism from clouding our judgement, but your attempt to make the problem look even-handed is flat out wrong. If you are going to call people out, have the balls to call them out without trying to generalize it away.
Haba Oga. Fashola's deportation of Nigerians to Ogun, Oyo, or Anambra is wrong period. The point is you all gave Fashola a pass just as my Igbo brothers are willing to give Oduah a pass, and for the same reason that you refuse to admit.

I'm glad that you agree that we need to stop tribalism from clouding our judgement. The thieving leaders will continue to do the needful with impunity if we do not stop.
Politics › Re: Still On Stella Odua -to Whom It May Concern by nduchucks: 7:41am On Nov 02, 2013
PapaBrowne: I am not and would not defend any frivolous expense!! It is pathetic that we are all being taken for a ride. Do I think Stella is complicit? Morally, yes. Legally, No.
Her 'good works' as a minister is a separate issue from these moral and possibly criminal acts. You agree that she was morally complicit, but conclude that she has done nothing illegal. i would have expected you to wait until all the facts are out before you reach the conclusion that she has done nothing illegal. You should not have an issue with admitting that several people under her supervision committed crimes in this matter and that the buck stops with her, at the very least.

PapaBrowne: Yes I know the story. Lagos State didn't buy the cars. Cpscharis supplied them. So to the loud mouths, no problem.

Now Let me put things in perspective.
And please help me understand why this is not a serious case of Corruption/abuse of office by the Lagos State Ministry of Sports.

I
Oduah's case and this Lagos State/Cosharis arrangement both smell very fishy. PapaBrowne, open a thread on the Lagos State/Cosharis issue and help expose any fraud and/or corruption.

For you to come here and indirectly defend Oduah's indefensible acts, is irresponsible and very unexpected of you. What a disappointment!!
Tell your yoruba brothers to leave Stella alone! Why do they love fighting with women every time undecided? Nobody likes this roforofo work but we can't just sit down and watch this yorubas flying like vultures all over Nairaland spewing so much bitterness and hate against the Igbos everyday. undecided
My Yoruba brothers and my Igbo brothers need to stop thinking with their yansh and use their brains for once. Those who are ra ping you hail from both Yoruba land and Igbo land as well. You'll find them in every region of this country. I repeat, your anger is misplaced.

The truth of the matter is that you people share the same traits and bigotry you are accusing each other of. The same people who had no criticism for Fashola and or supported his unconstitutional deportation of fellow Nigerians to alaigbo, primarily because Fashola is a fellow tribesman, are now criticising fellow bigots who are doing the same thing by not criticising Oduah. Hypocrites ka obu.

If any NL is looking for a very good reason why Nigeria will not breakup, then they must be blind not to see it clearly on this thread. Your leaders hope to keep you in bondage by feeding you with carcasses of conflicts which you chew on, fight over, even die over, while they continue to rob you 'blind' and enjoy the loot you hand to them freely.

I was at an event recently where some of your leaders whom you believe are political enemies were winning, dining, and sharing babes (possibly your daughters) together, while you people are here fighting. awon olodo rabata.

You have a common enemy who you all should be fighting, instead of fighting each other here. Shameless goons.

Mr. Gull has business interests in Nigeria and is involved in joint ventures with Oyibos, and yes, even Northerners. This is one of the reasons why I don't understand why he continues to call our great country, cesspit. He even has Yoruba lawyers, sef.

Onlytruth: Anytime we start raising solid opposition to a well oiled machine of lynching, you people start accusing us of being sentimental. I have since started to link "sentiment" with brilliant stoic defence against smooth lynching.
Unfortunately you are too short sighted to see that your so-called brilliance continues to move you further away from real political power. After GEJ, it may take you another 24years to rebuild the trust you are destroying.

I detest the laziness of the OP and fellows like him. Inasmuch as the door is open for him and others to present their solutions and/or questions to the committee on constitution review or Okurounmu's committee, the lazy people will not be found with any tangible submission to these committees.

The lazy ones come to the internet to chest beat and make empty noises. Nonesense!
