Badgers14: So you are saying the government did not approve the building plan for all this construction that are been demolished?? . And the owner erected a structure like that and the government and its agent never showed face during construction? Oga, even those prople that built those houses, knew it had kleg, but decided to go ahead. Did you not read in the post that red paint was placed on the fences telling them to stop work, but most will settle some so called government officials and then continue construction. The fact you buy "stolen" land and then build on it does not confer ownership on you. Assuming your Toyota corolla is stolen and sold to a person, you then run into your car 2 years later, who then owns the car, you or the buyer of stolen property? Will the buyer now start blaming vehicle licensing office, roadsafety (number plate) etc for licensing and registering the vehicle? |

The rate at which he wastes aviation fuel and petrol on frivolous jamborees calls for serious deliberation and stringent actions.
In a world of today, where dedicated and patriotic leaders are conserving energy, and opting for renewable energy, Peter is bent on polluting and degrading the environment. Atleast you had something to say. |

So there is bad weather at Abuja, pilot decides to divert to Asaba for the safety of the flight, passanger are complaining. Nigerians are the most difficult folks to deal with. Maybe if the pilot had safety device that will make him disappear from aircraft, he should have jumped out and allow the plane to go to Abuja by force and anything the passangers see, make them take am like that. Some say the pilot made mistake, that him no know say na Abuja him suppose go, na wah, as if aviation business is like entering bus from iyana paja to oshodi. |

Awon motivational speakers don land. Oya, let Nigerians sharp sharp go into grasshoppers picking, farming, cooking, selling and eating. It replaces expensive beef, you can also make "dollars" selling it "ablod". The whole grasshopper "value chain" etc (i love those big Grammer).. Let Nigeria youths rise and go into grasshopper business instead of complaining, the future is bright. |

Kingpele: Wow in all of this mess I believe this marriage started on a wrong foot ...in my church before the wedding day ..every test both blood group and fertility test will be conducted if any of the party is having fertility related issues..it will be resolved before the wedding day and if the man is impotent or the woman, it becomes the decision of the healthy party to go on with the wedding ,hoping for a miracle with mindset to remain without children till death ....as for the shameless woman committing adultery is a taboo and doing it without protection thereby endangering the life of your husband exposes this woman as a certified olosho... Oga, if you know the amount of married women fucking outside, expecially with eg, their ex sugar daddies you will be shocked. The men already knew them before they met their bf and later husbands so they are comfortable with them. Most, even when the men don't feel interested, that is how they will be bombarding their phones with nudes, striking different poses etc. This is rampant with those ladies that their husbands are struggling young men raising their families. SD go de send monie once in a while, bang the ladies too. Some of them will then get pregnant, confusion not knowing if it is hubby of SD, naturally is either to remove it or the stupid ones gives it to oga at home. A recently married lady said she asked her uncles wife (Aunty in law) how to survive as money was not flowing, in law told her the secret was to get a coded "man friend" aka sauger daddy, say na so she runs her package in her over 10 years of marraige to the ladies uncle. chiiraq802: Nigeria Police Force can never ever change in this life. They've been cursed by God.
If like let them increase there salary to 1 million naira everyday. you see that spirit of extortion and greed can never leave them.
NPF is useless. All of them. Seems the money people steal is sweeter than that legitimately earned. Years back, I gave my driver 15k to buy diesel, dashed him 10k. He left. Few minutes later I drove out, saw the truck at the petrol station, I then drove in and parked on the other side of the pump to buy for my car. Supprising thing is that he never saw me. This guy bought only 5k diesel! Kept 10k plus the 10k I dashed him. I called him after he left asking if he bought and how much. Omo, this guy swore with his mother and grandmother that he bought it. I had to send him a picture of him, the truck and snap of his purchase on the pump. Dash such people 1m, the 1k they steal is sweeter. |

magoo10: if he had become governor who knows the crimes he would used his office to be committing and the crimes the ones in government are committing. Exactly! You cannot have someone with not just a criminal past but even one tainted with such allegations near government. Will you knowingly hand over your cheese to a mouse for safe keeping, your yams to a goat? A celebrated 419 became a governor, another, a known indicted credit card crook became governor of another state, even his aide was recently exported to the US and is in jail. You then expect such fellows to change overnight after handing them the cookie jar? A serial bank robber was asked why he robbed banks, guyman answerer, "that is where the money is". |

Politics › Re: Dubai Opens Nigeria Office To Promote Trade by nedekid: 10:00pm On Nov 25, 2023 |
Eriokanmi: Reason!!!
Good vision
Good leadership who were discipline, focused and determined enough to actualize the vision
Corruption-free mindset
Unity and team spirit among the few arabs who made it happen
All the above are lacking in Nigeria today. No country that practises tribalism, religious bigotry, and harbours corruption will ever get it right. I didn't know there were many tribes in America, including States where they speak both English and Spanish, even write it on their billboards and at restaurants, malls ,etc until I visited California and other states. Canada is mixed with English and French people too, likewise Switzerland where you'd find Dutch, french and English speaking people, where I've also been. Yet, they share a common goal.
I once shared a story of Dubai tourism here on NL. I visited my brother who was an undergraduate at UI decades ago a few weeks after their resumption from a semester break. In their hostel, one guy was found reading a popular UK magazine back then called Readers Digest. So all of them picked interest in it. As they were flipping though the pages, they saw an advert on Dubai Tourism where a man in a white apparel was standing by a camel with a catch word Visit Dubai, an Amazing Tourust Destination. Seeing this, all of them laughed hysterically. They said who would visit Dubai of all places and a desert for that matter for Tourism?
Today, it's home to the big shuts across the globe and modern infrastructure with amazing architecture. Their Airlines have won several notable awards. I had boarded their A380 double-decked airbus to Los Angeles once and Paris once. It can lift over 700 passengers at once. Pabambari, they're now banning Nigerians , the giants of Africa from entering Dubai, the same people who once saw Nigeria as a rich and developed country back then. Our leaders messed up big time and we're also supporting them in this mess by voting them into power each time. We're all guilty of this.
A change of mindset and orientation will end this. My bro, you said it all jare. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Teaching Is The Worst Job In Nigeria by nedekid: 9:55pm On Nov 25, 2023 |
tayo4ng: Teachers reward is in heaven. No necessarily. Some make lots of money aside salaries doing lessons ie private tutorials. Those in upscale schools also. As at 10 years ago, I knew a school at gbagada, the lowest earning teacher earned 120k monthly. Regular trainings to UK etc. Even a school I am associated with today in downtown lagos, the lowest earning teacher I think makes 70k basic. Principal 350-400k with official car. Get a teaching job in eg Lagos preparatory school and see how much you make. Well, as in all professions, earnings vary, eg a banker in Zenith bank vs a banker at igando micro finance bank. |

Ordinary to maintain the the quota given to his school by law school, he greedily violate the quota severally thereby graduating innocent students who can’t admitted to law school.
Sadly, these are the fraudulent characters in Labour Party that go about claiming they want to change the country. Atleast the man has a visible soure of income, call it his industry, business, office, source of income, yes, he may have over admitted students into his "known" university business, but he commited no crime in anyway.
