Nothing wrong in Mr president wearing suit to look smart on such occasions. All the other president's there including the host all have their native wears, but chose to dress in business suits. |
What food are they eating in abia state government house? Hope this is not another case of that senate president that a whole cow or goat will be dished on his table before he eats. Otti should quickly explain abeg. |
Them no de tell persin, she will learn the hard way. ![]() Hope she can turn her life around though. |
Good thing there is scrutiny now. Nigerians are interested in how money is spent throughout the country, from abia, Abuja, Lagos etc. Even these politicians have alot of pressure on them financially, this issue of people wanting settlement everywhere they go. Was at the hosting of the German president few weeks back. This deputy governor was the host. Right before he exited the venue to to his vehicle a group of 5 men, grown men for that matter were waiting. DGs security chased them away, for where? Immediately he stepped by his car, they were there on their knees, saying they were hungry , omo, the man was forced to drop like 50k! Just 1 place, imagine if he visits 10 places in a day. |
A troubled mind.. |
The issue is how the revenue is utilized? To buy 400m bullet proof lancruiser for a political office holder, to blow 900m on refreshments in 3 months, to buy rechargeable fans at 2b? Rather let us see naira appreciate against the dollar, petrol and diesel price come down, improved education, food cost etc jare, if not, all story. |
Great. From a novice, this work looks substandard. Few months it might wash away. |
flexyrule:Same here, hope she understands what she is getting into. |
Op, you sure say you don mature enough to marry? ![]() |
Meerahbel:Where is your spa? Asking for a friend. |
Nackzy:Story, his hard earned money is for flexing. Is he ijoba to start empowering business people in Lagos? How many people in his immediate household or adugbo has he empowered, not to talk of Lagos. People like davido can do such but not burna boy, wiz kid etc, why? David has external money to fall on when the eventual decline will come unlike the others. |
Na wah, if this is true, I wonder who will save us in this country. Quite appalling. |
RingRoadCartel:Lolz |
benuejosh:Have you joined the "wailers"? |
Irony1:Bros, his ignorance is celebrated. I do not know if he writes all these intentionally out of financial inducement or he is naturally impaired. Grimaldi simply names a ships after some of the ports it operates. Grande cameroon, grande Abijan, Republica brasile, grande Congo, grande brasile, great Antwerp, grande cotonue, grande Tema, grande ghana, grande Luanda, grande cotonue etc These vessels are not based based in any of those ports, but ships that move around servicing routes, only named after one of the ports it services. All the ports in its route not up to a bigger vessels capacity will be modified to enable it berth. That is what has been done at PTML and other ports. I doubt if that fella has ever imported a vehicle in his life. |
OAFMods:What did this juvenile write? can anyone figure it out? |
Augmentine now 29k ![]() |
OAFMods:Just as the op saw it in Twitter, you too can search out the one for Abia and post. |
Hamachi:Those telling you to buy made in Nigeria to grow the naira are buying 180m Toyota land cruiser. Lol |
soccerlite:Both. The roads are not being maintained. Some states wish to fix them, but are not assured of getting a refund. Also permissions to fix those roads are sometimes declined due to conflict of interest. Note, that this is not a "south east" issue but a general one. |

soccerlite:So you think a state can just go to a federal road and fix it? Bro, arnt you in naija? Haven't you seen in news where states have requested to take federal roads and it has been refused. Don't you know contracts will be issued for them from federal ministry of works, that there are already contractors waiting with different interests? You know what, try to fix your road in front of your house and see if your local government official wount stop you, unless on special circumstances. Road they want to issue contracts for and make money. Even the ones wike was able to get permission to fix, asking for refund from fgn, what did oga at the top tell him? No refund, it was for your people, come and lobby me. |
In my opinion, he was trying to survive and you were just one of the means to. My paddy spoke of his guyman friend those days in lekki. The time he made money he built a big marble house. Also had an suv. But no money, even to buy petrol. That house was his "choppinson" . Those matured looking for husband ladies were his pray. This guy will, wakeup make one or two calls, one banker lady will stop at eatery and bring food. Some will bring foodstuff and cook, he will call them my wife. Fuel money for landcruiser suv nko. She will drop. That was how that fellow was surviving. Why go meet a widower with 6 young kids? Now be wahala you de find? |
TopBanter:Are you aware that is a federal road? |
Just imagine. In this same country 180m suvs are bought for over 300 lawmakers.. |
Pasta, spaghetti? How much is golden penny, dangote etc again, ₦100-120? No laugh me, e don tay I buy am. |
armadeo:Well said. Early this year, I need quick cash, all my banks said I run current accounts, some said because I have business account, another, that it is savings account they give and it must be salary account. Different stories. It lead me to one of the loan apps, an outrageous amount to pay as interest, guy, I declined. Do you know they called me that a loan was ready I should collect? I told them not to send any money to my account that I had already uinstalled their app. The next day I received call again. I do not take the money and I am alive and well today, debt free. In short I do not have "long throat" . I live within my means, I do not do pass myself. I save despite my responsibilities, so in rainy day, there is something to fall back on. This is also the problem with Nigeria, eg we buy 180m landcruisers for hundreds of law makers, while collecting loans we cannot pay. |
mascot87:So the intention is to take loans but not to pay back? When the initial loan companies eg paylater started years back, the current outrageous interest was not there. But as the true character of Nigerians started showing, the interest rates was jacked up along with a shorter repayment period. No more 9 months, 1year loans. Doubt if there is any 3 months loans available again. The reason is the high risk environment, ie the high default rate. The cost of handing them over to debt recovery firms to get their money. Furthermore the earlier companies declined while the brazen ones have adapted to the Nigerian reality. Nigerians think they are wise, but intimately it comes to harm them. Why don't they ask family and friends for loans. Why don't they go to traditional banks. Some give, except Zenith bank. Lol. My Zenith bank banking officer said lie lie, nothing like quick loans again, that they do not have power to chase anyone. |
TechCapon:Someone pays at the end of the day. Someone that wants to prove foul play and most importantly the accused that wants to exonerate himself. Except it is a highly political or loud matter with a lot of public interest will "popo" actual do the process on their own. |
Na wah, all these tech companies, na to clean out walka. Within years new innovations make them decline. |
JASONjnr:Bros, it is easier said than done. How do you move such money. $10m or 10b naira? Anyway, on later thought, seems possible through crypto. (guess that is what you mean by untraceable account). |
