Buhari, president elect, most current political actors, a lot of folks on this nairaland forum will be gone within 25 years.
But guess what, our kids will still be paying those loans. Those politicians have their kids currently schooling abroad and will likely naturalize in those countries. For 25 years their kids wount pay. It is the pikin of poor people, pikin of online worriors etc, left here naija that will have to pay this money.

Oga, Nigeria seems to be gone. Grab all you can for the betterment of your family. In a country of over 250m, folks feel the president elect is the best choice. You even have youths, online worriors in their 20s, 30s defending the choice of a 70 or 80 year old with loads of moral baggage. Youth that do not see themselves as adults old enough to take their destiny in their hands.

What reasonable persons should be asking is why was he suddenly detained. Someone that resides in the uk and owns property.
I wount put it pass the current gang of misfits to do and undo. They probably would have had the immigration service to tweek some crass update on his passport data on their database to embarrass him.
Afterall, the only people that could have bugged his phone in a conversation would have been agents of the state.
He will enter UK just like he is stepping into his backyard. No biggie.

While it is unacceptable for your landlord to assault your wife, you should also ask what your wife did or said to him. Some women do not know how to behave outside. They feel the way they talk to their hubby in the house is same way they will do to others outside.

The country is so bad that instead of people to help a dying man get to the hospital, they were busy taking photos and posting on social media.

I don't blame them considering the state of the country, being a good samaritan can earn you free accomodation in a cell. Also the policy of hospitals needing down payment before adminstering treatment in emergencies is another reason people don't help those in such situations.

Take care of your heart, many cases of sudden death are linked to abnormal heart

This is the worst time in the history of this country to be sick or even have any thing to do with hospital.
Even goverment hospital you will pay through your nose, not to talk of private.
So sad.
My advice is that folks should check their BP often. Live right. If you are 40 and above, do a PSA test yearly, lipid profile, kidney function test also.

Obasanjo as president of Nigeria sidelined Tinubu as governor of Lagos State all the years of his tenure in Aso Rock, to the extent that Obasanjo government even denied Tinubu access to Federal allocations of Lagos State local government areas for years.

Even President Buhari sidelined Tinubu for years after Buhari won the 2015 presidential election.

If all you say is true, why was he not arrested and prosecuted by icpc, efcc, lastma, vio, road safety, man o war, fire service etc. Afterall he lost immunity after leaving office 10 years ago.
Anyway, this country everyday is going down, it affects everyone of us. If you guys feel continuing the same route of the past 8 years is best for the country, so be it. We are in it together.

Those are premium rate number calls. They flash you to make you call back thinking you missed an important international call.
Once you call the number, it depletes your airtime at a heavy rate. Calling a Premium rate number can cost over $2 per minute.
The idea is to to bait you to call, hence the flashing by the owner. He makes money of you calling his number.

The charlatan and his cohorts have come again. The lady has written, it is her personal right to do so. Go to court if you feel aggrieved, Afterall you guys did worse to remove Jonathan, and no one was disturbed.
President elect should shift from these people as they will cause more problems for him. Already the one ffk did insulting the king of England is still there.

You are right.
The issue is most Nigerians are dubious by nature and will never payload even with a fight. It's not only here oh. A paddy in the uk told me of another friend that collected 50k gbp loan from bank, and took the money to naija, never to pay back. That after 5 years your records will be cleared. That is allegedly the UK banking laws.
Lend your paddy money and see if he will pay you, one told me last last, I should take him to police.
3 weeks ago, I needed urgent 100k. Tried gt bank, forwhere, they said it has to be salary acct. Tried Zenith, that one, seems it is only to themselves they give loan, tried Fcmb, the said mine was company account, it has to be personal account. A whole me could not get 100k from regular banking.
I went to some of these apps eg carbon and fairmoney I had used years ago. The kind of extra info they were asking for, I kukuma japa.
What basically I am saying is that those loan apps with tighten up, the regular banks will not give money. Relatives, friends and family will not give money because them no want quarrel.
So where do folks now get urgent money to solve pressing issues?
