I'm on your side as far as remaining gainfully employed. Now, I don't want to assume but I am suspecting that she wants him out of that position moreso for her own image since she also work at the job and will find it hard to present him in social circles. That is just practical and I will support her position on that. Bottom line, he needs another job that can sustain his needs and at same time makes him an asset in her social gathering. Anything else is risky!

For GPS follow this path: Go to the desktop, where you can see all the icons, look for Settings or Options icon

1. Options>Advanced Options>GPS ,
2. Click the Menu button (the button with the dots, look like a cat pawprint)

4. Select the GPS source you want to use.

For Maps, navigation maps are subscription features. Navigation maps are designed for helping you find your relative position to a defined address or location and getting you, turn by turn from your current position to the terminal location. They also issue traffic advisory and inform you if the path ahead along your route is blocked; it will find alternate routes in that case. You can find one from Zain or you go on the net and find a vendor. Nigerian roads are not charted for map navigation and neither do we have live traffic advisories so it will be a waste of money to get a subscription map in Nigeria. If you want geographical and terrestrial maps, then I suggest get a free one like Google maps.

For File Downloads, what kind of files are you talking about? Pictures, Music, Graphics, Microsoft Office Let me know.
Your device is capable of handling those files but each have a different path on how to handle the download depending on the file format. For pictures, music and Graphics, you will use Media Manager. Media Manager is licensed by "Roxio" for RIM (Research In Motion) and your purchase of the Bberry authorizes your use of it. Look in your Desktop Manager, can you find it in there? For Microsoft Office Apps, go to HANDANGO.COM. Handango is a developer and they have all kind of cool features than you could possibly dream of.

Desktop Manager not acting right! No problem. During installation, if you paid attention it asked you what kind of integration are you installing: (1) Blackberry Enterprise/Redirector, or (2) Blackberry Internet Service ?

If you are behind a corporate firewall and you will be accessing your corporate server from your Blackberry, then you need integration type (1). In that case, you will also need to talk to your IT and have them create a IT policy for your phone. The IT policy is a profile in the Corporate directory that identifies you as an active employee. When email is sent to your Outlook inbox at work in Nigeria, even though you are in London, the Exchange server authenticates your blackberry and forward a copy of that email through WAP push and trust me, you will receive it on your device in London. It will not matter where in the world you are, if they have EDGE or UMTS network you will get delivery of that email. From your device in London, after reading the email if you choose to delete it, you can do so on your device and also tell the device to send a command to Outlook email in your computer on the desk in Nigeria to delete that email as well. So your device also act as a remote control with coverage extending over thousands of miles. Enterprise Activation gives you a virtual presence in the office.

If you are not behind a firewall and you are just an individual user, then choose integration type (2). It does everything as mentioned above except for one thing - it does not give you a virtual presence in the office. You can still talk remotely to your home computer and do stuffs in your desktop email, even though you are not at home.

Now that you know the difference between the two, which integration type do you need? Did you install the correct one?

Browsing through Zain. Yes it is possible but they will subscribe you to a data plan for that. Without a data subscription, browsing is not possible on the bberry.

lol, I thought this thread had been laid to rest already. It s possible that the guy meant well and was sincere in his heart but the expression came out garbled. Four years together was a long time. In that time she would have known his ways and be intimately familiar with his manners of verbal expressions. For her to cut him off like that suggests that wasn't his normal way of expressions and she sensed arrogance or, there are other issues and her resentment was finally triggered with his offending proposal.

There are many unknowns!!  If I were in Eric's position here is how I would handle it.

1.  Truth - I had trust in my wife _Lilian_, otherwise I would not have married her. I will not let an outside party, even though Kevin and I have been lifelong friends, derail that trust simply on a claim that had to do with her past. So it is Kevin who is on the spot! I need to validate his claim by seeking more information from him and other people that are likely to know if it was true that Lilian and Uncle K were indeed intimate partners.  

2. Goal - I love Lilian, she is carrying my baby, we are married, I intend to be with her for life.  She makes me happy, I feel wholesome in my perspective, I am ready to grow with her and build a family.  Am I willing to risk all that to an issue that had to do with her past?  Who does not have a past?  If I get rid of her, then I have to start all over looking for another wife, and starting all over to start a household, hhmmm, what are the chances that I could ever find someone that makes me as happy as Lilian does?  If Kevin's story is true, there are other and much better ways to confront it and deal with it and still keep my wife, the baby and our household together; that's what I want.

3. Revelation - In a relaxed and entertaining mood, enjoying shortbread and ice cream, I will invite Lilian to exchange past memories with me.  I will initiate and share my pasts with her and invite her opinion on how I could have done things differently in my past. This will greatly help her to relax and be more forthcoming in her own stories than she would have ordinarily. I will listen patiently, hoping she would include Uncle K. If she did, I will appreciate and thank her for being truthful. I know I am upset and boiling with fury underneath but I must not show it.  I have decided to be with this woman, going forward there will be more situations in other aspects of our matrimony in which I will need her to see me as a comforting friend and not hold back from me fearing reproach. This is my opportunity to establish that assurance in her.  Since she self-reveal, I won't even bother telling her what Kevin told me.  It's time for action!  

4. Confrontation - I will go visit Uncle K.  I will express my thanks again for his sponsorship.  I will demand he tells me his relationship to Lilian, are they blood relatives or were they bed relatives?  His response will determine how fiercely I pounce into action.  Whatever course of action was taken, at the end of it, he will clearly understand who I am.

5. Resolution - Uncle K will resolve, unequivocably, that he will never, ever make any contact to me or Lilian again and further more, that my household and the members in it owe him nothing.  Failing that, I will escalate my confrontation with him until I get a resolution.  

6. Closure - I will let Lilian know never again to worry about Uncle K or mention him.  I have visited him and as man-to-man, we have talked about the situation and resolved it. I will take out the pictures in the album where he appeared and destroy them.  I will visit Kevin and thank him for his friendship and tell him the same thing I told Lilian.  I have brought closure to it and I want him to close it as well.
