It saddens me that every time I come here, I keep reading s.hit from people especially you.
if everytime you come in here you are met with shyyt, and you keep coming, apparently it is not saddening. . . . . you find my shyyt gratifying. If you go one day without getting it you start to miss it. Stay around dude, I got more shyytload coming for your pleasure.

I really don't know how people cook up "facts"? Do you guys get it in your dreams or just pulled it out of your a.s.s?
Ikemba had some cooked-up facts left from his pre-IvoryCoast days. . . yep, you are correct, they were stuck up in his a s s . We harvest them now that they are of no use to him. Hopefully we use them all up before feb 3rd.

Cocoa revenue allocated to the East? How was revenue shared in the country before the war? Until you furnish us with the facts, I'll simply leave you to your misery! Keep educating yourself with bullshit.
Yep, that's what I said!
Cocoa revenue allocated to the East". You need to go even further back than just before the war. . .way inbetween amalgamation and Independence. You will findthe answer for your bullshyt inquiry. Before oil, the British administrators in the amalgamated regions had to run their administration and the native authorities. That required money. Cocoa money was used by Britain to administer your region and support your native authority and provinces. You didnt know that?

SS & SE are One. SW and North are One=Nigeria.
No, West is standalone! North is standalone! SS is marrying SE and in their holy wedlock they become one.

Chyz,

You need to preach to your new coalition partner, tell them what your immaturity in national politics earned you in your 66 coup when ibo boys went on selective assassination of Yoruba and Hausa leaders. Tell'em what will happen if they dont desist with their shallow threats.
PoliticsRe: SE And SS Unity Is The Key To Fight The Sponsored Yoruba Protest In SW by NegroNtns(m): 1:19am On Jan 16, 2012
I say, where was the South-South in 1914? And where was the South-South in 1945, 1960? Where were the eggs being laid and hatched? It is in the record that, it was the farmers in the North that produced the groundnuts and resources that supplemented the various budgets of the West and East up till 1970.
_Chucks,

They are new kids on the block of national politics. . . .  the coal in Enugu was only good for domestic consumption, the grade was far below the market standard for global exportation.  Everywhere in South had and produced palm oil and in fact Europe, which commandeered the global trade of that era,  had no demand for palm oil like they did groundnut and cocoa.  Nigeria was the world leading producer and exporter in the two commodities at that time.  West did not complain that cocoa revenue was being allocated to North or East.  North did not complain that groundnut revenue was being used to fund governments in West or East.  These two people were outgrowths of ancient seats of Imperial political power.

But SE and SS come overnight with oil and want to act like you are doing the rest of the country a favor.  No, you are not. . . you are participating in national politics.  If you dont like natgional politics the way Yoruba and Hausa play it, then demarcate us from you.  The President is not Hausa and is not Yoruba.  He is your son, he has the power to make that happen for you.  Tell him put up barrier between us and you, if he can.

Well, lets wait till we the owners can do something about the situation
The ownership has changed hands . . . . you no longer own the resource.  You only have stewardship of the land.
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Protest: Acn Decries Growing Sectionalisation by NegroNtns(m): 12:56am On Jan 16, 2012
majority of the SS do not know dialogue and conflict resolution. they resolve all problems with violence. this has been admitted on pages of nl in previous discussions on bloodletting and killings of rival cult members.
Birds of same feather flock together. . . . their coalition with SE is a harmonious match.
PoliticsRe: SE And SS Unity Is The Key To Fight The Sponsored Yoruba Protest In SW by NegroNtns(m): 12:44am On Jan 16, 2012
Onlytruth,

Let me give you a truth to take with you to bed tonight.  In the days of Cocoa export as Nigerian cash crop, the whole country subsisted on the income.  Same with groundnut.  Today, it is oil.  As long as Nigeria remains one, as long as your SS and SE continue to ooze oil. . . . West and North are happy to co-own Nigeria with you.  Now, if that is too bitter for you to swallow, then this new coalition of SS/SE need to appeal to your son, Gej and direct him to create corridors between you and the rest of Nigeria, pending when Biafra is soon actualized and you can stop sharing your oil with West and North.

Failing this separation, you and your SS cohorts need to take a chill pill and be content with what we hand to you as your share of the oil revenue.  You have more people in Lagos than any other ethnic group.  Right?  Well, guess what?  That means Lagos gets more share of Oil revenue than any other state.  You have billions of Igbo indigenes in Kano, right?  Then Kano should follow behind Lagos in revenue allotment.

Nigerian politics is not crude. . . . some just lack the construct to survive or navigate their preserve in it.
PoliticsRe: Subsidy Protest: Acn Decries Growing Sectionalisation by NegroNtns(m): 12:08am On Jan 16, 2012
SS has shown its immaturity at leading the country or keeping a steady head to demonstrate neutrality. It is lessons learnt, next time they produce their son or daughter for Presidency we know to use Gej regime as a yardstick of measure and reject candidates from SS. The igbos are living testimony of that. They s c r e wed their chances and its been over 40yrs now since they had a son in that seat. If you dont temper your responses and threats, GEJ could very well be your last taste on the seat for another 100yrs, assuming nIGERIA last that long into the future.
PoliticsRe: We Will Defend Jonathan With Our Blood - Asari-dokubo by NegroNtns(m): 11:19pm On Jan 15, 2012
Nchara,

Gej is a dissapointment because of his incoherent and disorganized manner of leading the country and not because of his tribe or background.  For once, progressive Nigerians were delighted that we finally have an academically accomplished person in power riding on the back of democracy. Nothing could go wrong!!  It was the one opportunity to model going forward. . . .and now look where the professor is compared with his predecessrs.  It is hard to believe he graduated university.  He is not properly schooled in the art of politicking or of formulating good policies

Keep deceiving yourself. Yoruba is not your enemy, just dont attack us. If you do, we'll attack back.
he doesnt need a reminder on that.  OPC already told them the one time they tried lagos.  fashola told them also to make sure there is never a repeat.

PoliticsRe: Police Arrest Boko Haram Suspect In Borno Gov’s Lodge by NegroNtns(m): 2:20pm On Jan 15, 2012
In this picture it looks like someone is giving a prayer, heads are bowed and eyes shut. Is that correct?

This is good news. . . very good news if true and these are not decoys that have been arrested. In fact, great development because the rest are likely to start hiding or detaching from the group for fear of arrest.

Something caught my attention in the news report:

"Once the evidence is confirmed as incontrovertible, further steps can then be taken to ensure prosecution in line with treason and such charges.
Let's not jump for joy everytime we hear that someone is charged for treason. Awolowo was charged for treason on a false accusation and trumped up allegations. If we rejoice in the everyday use of the word treason, pretty soon, political leaders will start getting thrown in jail on treasonable charges for nothing more than voicing opposition to the government.

Boko haram has commited grave atrocities and they should face grave penalties. . . however, I wonder if treason will apply to their case.

From the way FASHOLA is talking it appears the talks for today may not yield anything fruitful.
its a negotiation in progress, and you are correct. . . . negotiations are unpredictable, it will produce only one of three possible results - a win-win, a win-loose or a walkout. Conflict resolution with labour is one the most difficult talks to mediate.

@negrontns. Do u believe in one nigeria?
No, I do not. We are foreigners relating with one another in foreign language, practicing foreign creeds and thoughts, emulating foreign values and manners. I want a Yorubaland where I can speak my mother tongue, practice my forefathers creeds and thoughts, emulate their philosophical wisdom and progress that into the new age. This desire will never materialize in a one nigeria, not just for Yoruba. . . .also for other foreigners that are collocated with us in this foreing sovereingty.

Naijaking,

Im sure in your participation on NL you have heard the word "thread".

What is thread and why is it used in reference to collection of responses?  Thread will be a linking or chain linking of disparate materials contained as an object of a goal and with the purpose of extracting a continuum that bonds them together into a single theme of thought.

You have been on NL for some time now, you should by this period know how to thread responses.  Stop addressing disparate materials.

Update!!!  Governors vote was not unanimous.  The burden of proof is on you to show the vote tally and silence my voice.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 2:29pm On Jan 14, 2012
But once again, ACN members and Yoruba peeps (definitely not all of them, we still have objective people like @seun) will rise to defend their own. I dont have a problem with that really. I only have a problem with their continued claim that they are fighting for Nigeria and their fake stance that we are one country.
Yorubas have always and will always shield our homeland and everything in it that is politically significant.  Fashola is politically significant.

Those people you excepted and defined as objective in the brackets - and I doubt Seun will thank you for putting him in that bracket - are the stoopid ones that equate fighting as an indignity of the human spirit, they prefer their genteel ways of yielding and agreeing with their opponents than to rock the boat and kick their rival overboard to drown.  So, yes, you are right we defend everything Yoruba that is defensible and I'm glad you agree with it.

Your last statement should be rephrased to read something like this:  "I only have a problem with my own tribe that continue to believe in one Nigeria, instead of using the Yoruba model in political engagement".
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 2:15pm On Jan 14, 2012
SO Ʊ would also agree with me that there is no evidence that  all the PDP governors  voted yes?

If Ʊ agree with the above THEN WHY MAKE IT SEEM AS IF IT IS A PDP THING? Is that not a cowardly act

Moreover why didnt the governors of ACN make a statement after NGF took the position and state their own position after the vote was taken to let the public knw their position like they did when the subsidy saga started?
PDP, what's that??  Look, dude, I dont even know what you are talking about.  See previous page for my repeated statement that this is about exercise of democratic rights and not governors forum.  see what Philips said above also.  Dipwater has repeated it.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Warns Pengassan Over Strike by NegroNtns(m): 1:49pm On Jan 14, 2012
How does
"Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, has called on members of Petroleum, Energy and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN)
becomes
Fashola Warns PENGASSAN over Strike
in your opening title?

The governor is negotiating and de-escalating threats, your downcreek politically inept mind is in NL, advocating against his progress and re-writing his intent with "threatening vocabulary"

PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 1:33pm On Jan 14, 2012
Look, Karl, you are talking to a politically matured mind here. Fashola is indeed a member of the group, no one denies that. The group agreed to the subsidy removal, no one denies that. It never said it was unanimous!!!

That Fashola voted for the removal is contested. Produce the vote register and we see how they voted for or against. If majority voted yes, remove, then they carried the day and won against the no. Which way did Fashy vote? This is a political challenge for you. Articles of what the governors forum did or said will not prove that. The article did not say it was unanimous - a key factor to consider!!.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 1:26pm On Jan 14, 2012
Radical, next time I lecture in here about political process and governance I need you to bring your pen and paper and take notes.

You cant differentiate between the different arms of government and the roles and accountability.  You say Fashola is member of executive arm.  Which executive arm?  Go and read the oath of office of the Governor of Lagos, it answers your laughter.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 1:20pm On Jan 14, 2012
Again, you all have failed a political question.  If NASS comes out with a law that they voted and approved on, does it mean there are no oppositions at all to the debate?  You will have to look in the register to see who voted for or against.  So, that the Governor's forum agreed to it does not mean it is unanimously.

Second, let us assume Fashola agreed to the removal.  Going by Fashola:s style of discretion and use of wisdom, and as attested in his response in the opening article, it is unlikely he agreed to a flash cut.

Let's stretch this even further,. . . .assuming the governor agreed to subsidy removal with a flash lift, the issue at hand is on exercise of democratic rights.  He agreed to subsidy removal does not equate to silencing the voice of the people. . .the electorate!  Doing so, as GEJ would wish, will equate to silencing democracy.

In any way you look at it, I dont know but it appeared the OP's intent was to humiliate Fashola. . . . but we see that it backfired and Fashola is a supporter and believer in democratic rights and Gej and his government are not.  Thats the theme in this post.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 12:35pm On Jan 14, 2012
Provide evidence of his approval and if indeed he agreed, in what terms and scale did he suggest?

There are many people that agree to removing it in phases where the success and accountability of a phase is scored and acknowledged before activating the next phase. A flash switch off is what alarmed people and got Gej in trouble.
PoliticsRe: Fuel Subsidy: Presidency Queries Fashola Over Lagos Crowd by NegroNtns(m): 12:22pm On Jan 14, 2012
"Someone about to be roasted is greasing himself with palmoil" - Enough said.
roasted for what?  Gej is not Fashola's boss.  Fashola is accountable to people of Lagos.   If they say they want to vent to express their voice in a lawful and non-violent or criminal way and he gives them the latitude to do that, then he is respecting democracy and participation in democracy.

If Gej has problem with that then he has problem with democracy, not with Fashola or Lagos state.  What Fashola has done by allowing people in Lagos to exercise their democratic rights goes a long way in testimony to the fact that he is a very viable asset for Presidency of Nigeria.
