whiteroses:Lol @ topic. You may want to rewire your thinking on what makes a woman appealing to a man, because God forbid you gain ten pounds. You will be ready to jump off a bridge. Confidence in who you are is key no matter if a woman is fat/slim, light/dark, tall/short, long hair/short hair, ect, For example I have a friend that was very overweight, around 280 pounds. She was always depressed and only losers would come around to date her, and she would go overboard in giving her all to guys that obviously didn't really care about her. Every heart break made her feel worse. She worked hard to lose weight and ended up losing 60 pounds, and even though she was still overweight by 'normal' standards, the weight loss boosted her confidence so much that she started dressing well and carrying herself as though she is a queen. Everywhere she went guys would approach her. She is now engaged to a wonderful handsome man that adores her. The funny thing is that the weight loss didn't make her attractive. It was her attitude. She is more overweight than most of her friends that are still single and searching, but she feels better about herself. The key is to be confident in the positive attributes you have. Every girl has something about herself that could turn them into an insecure, needy woman. |
Of course I would finance my ex's wedding. I would also finance thier honeymoon, the purchace of their first home, and the school fees for their children. ![]() |
What? There's nothing better than to share kisses in a public place. Next time you are out with her in a public place, give her a nice big hug and then give her the same kiss you give her in private. The fact that many eyes are on you two is an added bonus. If you are a teenager under 18, forget everything I just said. In fact you shouldn't be sharing much kisses indoor either. ![]() |
Amen! I'm so glad he made it easy for her. Thank God! ![]() Rally around your cousin and support her, because on average a person will go back 7 times before leaving for good. Thank the Lord she hasn't slept with him because that bond makes it so much harder for a woman to leave. Praise the Lord!!! divalishis:I can relate. A rebound relationship that starts without healing is not a good thing because it's like you transfer the trust and care unto someone that you haven't got a chance to know well yet. It causes you to overlook obvious warning signs because of a false sense of security. Now it's important for her to build her self-confidence back up because she is probably emotionally back where she started after she lost her first love. Good luck to her! ![]() |
XX01:The spambot released my earlier post: It could be normal colic and if it is then it's just a matter of waiting it out. It could also be that your baby has an allergy to something that you are eating. Dark circles usually go hand in hand with allergies/sensitivities. This website has a few suggestions concerning foods to avoid while breastfeeding: http://www.babycenter.com/404_are-there-any-foods-i-should-avoid-while-breastfeeding_8906.bc Occasionally a baby will be fussy at the bosom or gassy after you eat a particular food. If you notice a pattern, avoid that food for a few days. To test whether that food really was the cause, reintroduce it once and see if there's an effect. Mothers report that babies most often object to chocolate; spices (cinnamon, garlic, curry, chili pepper); citrus fruits and their juices, like oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit; strawberries; kiwifruit; pineapple; the gassy veggies (onion, cabbage, garlic, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, and peppers); and fruits with a laxative effect, such as cherries and prunes. If you think that something you're eating is causing problems for your baby, it's usually something you've eaten two to six hours before feeding. The most common culprits include cows' milk products, followed by soy, wheat, egg, nuts, and corn or corn syrup. Talk to your baby's doctor before you omit any foods from your diet. If avoiding a food could cause a nutritional imbalance (for example, if you eliminate all dairy products), you may need to see a nutritionist for advice on substituting other foods or taking nutritional supplements. Continue taking your prenatal vitamin as long as your baby's fully breastfed to cover any gaps in your own diet. |

OK, the Pakistani govt. was involved in the operation. |
It looks like they killed him in Pakistan. This isn't going to sit well with the Pakistani government. WWIII is looking more and more likely everyday. |
Obama to make announcement in a few minutes. |

evil666:This video speaks volumes and addresses the fact that there has been no formal inquiry into the validity of the claims of mass violence against unarmed civillians. There has also been no formal inquiry into the background or intention of these rebels. Are you pretending to be ignorant of the fact that the Libyans calling for help could have been rebels? How did peaceful protesters turn into organized armed forces that were seizing control of eastern cities, in one week? The hasty response to the conflict in Libya is suspect. Why not engage the leader in talks instead of jumping in and taking sides? http://somalilandpress.com/libya-rebels-execute-black-immigrants-while-forces-kidnap-others-20586 If both sides are commiting grave offenses what is the incentive for being on one side verses the other. Are you completely oblivious to the wide implications of attacking another country without concrete proof about what is going on and a knowledge of the major players on the rebel side? Again, I will use Iraq as an example of a war that was started by (what we now know to be) false allegations, killing thousands of U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civillians, and wasting billions of dollars. |
Kobojunkie:Refer to my previous posts, because I don't know how Gadhadi's 'own people' can start a heavily armed civil war and not expect him to react. Also, why is the international community obligated to protect radical armed rebels that are taking advantage of the current unrest in the middle east? This is a civil war. pleep:I really wonder. African civilizations were fine for thousands of years. Maybe some people are unaware of their history, and what colonialism did to the entire continent. The U.S. is only a couple of hundred years old and yet they are supposed to be the genius of the world. Many western ideals are not designed for long term sustainability, which is why america is in crisis now. |
What's wrong with a hyphenated last name? For instance, if you marry a woman that is educated at the master's level, she has spent years conducting research. She has authored and contributed to many papers and studies. Hopefully she has been blessed enough to contribute to a peer-reviewed journal. Also she has labored on her master's thesis. Maybe she wants to hyphenate her name because she wants to make it easier to build her career on her educational foundation. If you have a hyphenated last name you can legally present yourself as either last name. Princek12:If you believe that your position as head of household is based on the fact that your wife takes/doesn't take your last name than you have a strange concept of what marriage is. Pweety4me: r231:^Seconded. marychi18:I would be more concerned about the fact that he divorced his wife of many years only because she couldn't give him a child. (I hope she has independantly verified that this was the true reason for the split) Fibroids don't prevent pregnancy in the vast majority of cases. Maybe he is infertile. Even if he isn't infertile, who's to say that she marries him and can't produce a child for whatever reason. If they are getting married out of love then he won't care, but if he is looking for a baby making factory he will resent her. As long as she is taking all this in consideration, which I'm sure she most likely is, then there isn't a problem. The age is a non-factor here. Personally, I don't believe infertility is grounds for divorce, but to each her own. Be happy for her because at 27 she really is old enough to weigh the pros and cons for herself. |
One month before the uprising in Libya started, the U. N. Human Rights Council produced a report praising Gadhafi. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/06/weekinreview/06libya.html |
So now NATO have resorted to bombing children to win the illegal war in Libya? A bunch of 'criminals' got guns and attacked the internationally recognised government and we call them 'rebels', can you imagine what would happen here if everyone in my town got shotguns and marched on parliament demanding the resignation of the 'royal' family (business) and the current government? The first thing you would see would be armed police and troops on the street and the 'rebels' from my town would be called criminals or terrorists and shot on sight! Nato isnt protecting civilians, no civilians were being attacked in this strike except the grandchildren that were killed. The pilot that dropped the bomb should be ashamed and the politicians that got us into this mess should be tried for war crimes. I hope Gaddafi wins. I'm disgusted by our actions. What about Bahrain, Yemen and Syria then NATO?
My point exactly. |
He isn't hiding in bunkers. He was still living in his same compound in the capital with his family, and they had an open line of communication with him. And of course Libya isn't in the top 10 for oil exports to the USA. Neither was Iraq before they invented a reason to take over that country. If their sole reason for being there is to help Libyans, why them and not Rawanda or Darfur. Better yet, why did they intervene in Libya before Ivory Coast when the conflict in the Ivory Coast began first? I am not going to down play the seriousness of a rape allegation, and it unfortunate that the lady had to endure such horrors at the hands of Gaddafi's troops. Now, if this human rights violation by Gaddafi's soldiers are grounds to bomb his home, then look at these cases of rape by the hands of U.S. soldiers and tell me what should be done. http://rwor.org/a/053/iraqrape-en.html http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/feb/23/usa.iraq http://www.aztlan.net/iraqi_women_raped.htm Also, a cease-fire has to be done on both sides. How can he halt his assault on the armed rebel forces when both sides haven't made an agreement to stop fighting? Like you I also smh at the way some people on NL think. And to the person who is oblivious to the fact that the media can indeed create believable illusions, you must not have been around when Iraq was invaded after public opinion was swayed into believing it held non-existant weapons of mass destruction. |
Are you trying to justify gaddaffi's hold on to power or what?, Those his children that died are called colletral damage. Is their lives more than thousand innnocent civilians the lunatic kill on daily basis? Gaddiffi need to be flush down with everthing he has. Good example to for any dictator still leaving in the stone age. Deal with it, a taste of your own venon.
Tell me, what do you think Obama or any other leader would do right now if scores of frustrated citizens started buying up weaponry and organizing an armed effort to overthrow him? Exactly the same thing Gadhafi is doing. I'm not pro Gadhafi or anti-American, I'm merely presenting evidence that supports my belief that the people backing the rebels are not doing so for altristic purposes. |
Nekai:Here's another one in which NATO itself states that Gaddafi is fighting against organized militas. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/01/world/africa/01civilians.html Here is a breakdown of how it all started: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Libyan_civil_war Note, that the rebel coalition is stationed in the eastern libyan city of Benghazi. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8365432/Libya-WikiLeaks-cables-warn-of-extremist-beliefs.html |
Kobojunkie:Ok, smart behind, make use of the 'Insert Quote' button and list my outrageous claims so that I may present more of my evidence. |
Since I don't know any children that he killed, I cannot answer the question. It's so ironic. As retaliation for the attack on the naval base at Pearl Harbor, in which 2400 members of the U.S. military were killed, the U.S. forced 110,000 Japanese and Japanese-American civillians (2/3 of which were U.S. citizens) into internment camps, and unleashed an atomic bomb which killed 250,000 innocent Japanese civilians. ![]() The vast majority of Americans cheered when these things occured. Why? Because most people are just sheep, being blindly led and influenced by propaganda. |
What children? Tell me, do you have access to unbiased, first hand reports of the situation on the ground in Libya? My outrage is that places like Rawanda and Ivory Coast were ignored, while oil-rich Libya and Iraq were targeted. Libya is still a member of the African Union, which opposed the no-fly zone imposed on the leader. This organization, which is monitoring the situation, has proposed a roadmap to ending the conflict (which Gadhafi accepted), which would include an immediate cease-fire, followed by a democratic election. Of course this was pushed aside. NATO wants to kill him and erect their own puppet into power. http://www.africareview.com/News/-/979180/1133620/-/hpvc0rz/-/index.html This guy may not be a saint, but let his own people decide what needs to be done. We have heard of various Gaddafi crimes, but who are these rebels that are based in eastern libya? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/03/19/extremists-among-libya-rebels_n_837894.html |
What is the justification in stepping in another country's civil war? These are not protesters, they are organized rebel forces. |
Unlike american men, they actually go the extra mile to seek out a lady. ![]() |
Personally I believe Obama is a great man. However, Nigeria should be careful 'courting' the U.S. during this period in time, which is being marked down in history as being characterized by a blood-thirsty lust for African oil. |
