So somebody says "some people cannot mind their own business", and ironically this blogger falls into it. So it's now preferred that we must congratulate our family members on social media? Bloggers sef, looking for fire when there is no smoke. |
Good. Now if only we'll have light to keep samples cold, run the machines, and print the results ![]() We also need competent staff actually trained to use this properly so they don't put their own DNA in the samples being tested. We should also educate our police force not to carry suspect weapons, or to sweat, spit, or urinate on the crime scene ![]() And finally we'd like a police force that doesn't accept money to twist or fabricate facts |
Reasons to prefer iPhone (and none of it to do with social status/consciousness): 1. Design. From the font choices, to the menus, to color, to buttons sizes, to how the apps work together, the iPhone consistently delivers a smoother user experience. The difference between iPhone and Android is a carryover from the difference between MacOs and Linux, where the former feels well thought out by designers, and the latter slapped together by engineers. 2. Ease of use. Again, designers vs engineers. You pick up an iphone 9.9 times out of 10 you will succeed in the task you want to accomplish, pretty easily. On the Android it's hit or miss (they've been getting better, but it's taken many iterations of AndroidOS to get to where iOS was 4 years ago) 3. Simplicity/continuity. Read somewhere how to do something? On iPhone you can replicate those steps pretty easily. On Android, the proliferation of manufacturers and models makes it much harder to be sure that you can replicate those same steps. 4. Tight integration with other Apple hardware: pair airpods with iPhone. Now pair other headphones with Android. Uh huh. Again, other manufacturers have caught up somewhat, but getting Apple hardware to talk to each other is effortless. Not the same with other manufacturers. That said, the Android platform has enabled manufacturers to experiment and release features years ahead of Apple (e.g. NFC, payments, app store, waterproof, edge-to-edge screen, fingerprinting, pattern unlock, dual sim, expandable storage, wireless charging). And not too long ago(4,4s days), Apple was making fun of Samsung's large phones... I guess Samsung better understood the market. There's a lot of value in simplicity... not everybody has the time, willingness to tweak and customize to their hearts content... but they have the money/desire to buy something that has fewer knobs and just works. |

Hopefully he will stay away for a long time during his transit back in London so that VP Osinbajo can settle and calm some frayed nerves in the nation. I've never seen a leader whose presence causes so much tension and economic malaise, yet his absence allows things to cool down and the economy to flow. It's very odd, yet consistent. I can imagine how much better things will become once he leaves office. |
Banks are not investors. They don't care about the business idea... what they want to see is an already viable business that needs cash to expand, and they see a 100% chance of getting their money back, plus interest. It's for the same reason banks can't lend you money to buy a house unless you demonstrate you can pay them back (e.g. have a good paying job). They can't lend on a promise of future performance. Consistent cash flow, collateral, and growth potential are the critical components. |
Orodje:Hactually, Bisola na my type die. Notice the curves on those pretty lips, and those eyes. Not to talk of the rest. Plus na real we.re. |
The guy is making treasonable statements and yet you complain that the government leave him alone? Go and actively campaign to break up USA (seriously, and not jokingly) and see how fast FBI locks you up. For clarification, Nnamdi Kanu is a traitor against the Nigerian State. If he succeeds in creating Biafra, he can become a freedom fighter and founding father and kids will salute his statue. Until then, he is traitor, just like every founding father in history, and should take his medicine as punishment for failure. |
Unsad:On behalf of old Bendel I claim our Edo girl wholeheartedly. I swear I love this woman, fina gyal who speaks her mind, knows how to do makeup and outfits well (unlike most of our garish monsters), and can wind wella. I was even saying that, "I've not been hearing much about Maheeda lately...", but here she is ![]() Maheeda toh bad... when you go come wine ontop me na? |
manciti:I'm not a fan of OLAM as it competes unfairly with local farmers; for example it brought it tons of maize recently to compete or even wipe out the efforts of a cooperative farm in Nasarawa. However, this statement about using Niger-Delta resources does not fly: this is a private mill funded with the funds of a private company. Also, a government has the responsibility to deploy armed forces throughout its territory as it sees fit to keep said territory intact. The fact that the army is majority northern is because most Igbos would rather do business or some trade than enlist in the armed forces. Whose fault is that? |
It's only September 12 oh... we nefa reach October. Make una cool tempa |
So na dis guy con tear rubber? ![]() Happy for her sha. |
LesbianBoy:I was thinking the same thing too, as I was looking at the panty line. If you hang this thing outside, nah only two go fit for rope oh! ![]() |
samsobo24:Normally, I'd agree, but in this case this is my thinking: If more money is given to Nollywood be reducing piracy, sure some of it will be spent on improving quality of content/production/talent, but the majority of the increase will be spent in Dubai or London as actors and producers have more money to party with - this is capital flight from the Nigerian public going abroad. However, if piracy remains and there is less money in Nollywood, the Nigerian public will be able to hold on to more of its money, which is more likely to circulate within Nigeria more. I realize it's a funny argument I'm making, since less money means we're starving Nollywood of its fuller potential, which ultimately will be better for the country. |
Instead of thinking of how to grow the economy, they are stifling the jobs of those hustlers selling on the road, and then forcing the masses to pay higher fees for content. I'm not saying the artists don't deserve their revenue, but lets be serious: If instead of N500, I now have to pay 2k for a CD, they are on a long ting... |
Deposit it at that same branch. Sadly I'm sure they will say it's fake but it's not their fault. Whoever initiall accepted that fake 1000 is covering their own ass at your expense. Sorry |
Interesting... so this information comes out once she declares support for the opposition. If this is not a case of selective prosecution by PMB, I don't know what is. |
Good. I'm happy to see NPF at work, so they tracked this guy all the way to Jos. |
People drinking panadol for another person's headache... |
Sagay212:Mtcheew... that's the kind of girl that will be more worried about the sofa than the nackin... not enjoyable at all ![]() But whatever floats that boat. Me, mattress on floor is all I need. |
Women and comfort enh? See plush carpet, sectional sofa and those two things in the middle. I be bush boy wetin dem dey call am? Girls like these have fur and pillows over the damn place, with perfume and potpourri in every room. Too much for me, but anyway nice. |
Diversify doesn't mean "different types of natural resources", it means resources+industry+services. |
Mujtahida:Right on. Even me sef... I cannot say I won't chop yam if you leave me with it ![]() |
sarrki:Of all the candidates that PDP may field (and their candidate should be from the North if they want to win next election) I think he's the most qualified: 1. The majority of his businesses were in existence before his ascent to power (Governor or VP). 2. His businesses employs several thousands 3. He has displayed fierce loyalty (e.g. to Yaradua senior - and as a result ended on the wrong side of IBB and Abacha) 4. He has been around for a while - though not of the old guard - and has more experience than most of his counterparts in "being successful" 5. He has demonstrated financial prudence, business sense, loyalty (except to OBJ when he was seeking a third term), and integrity, and has built institutions to uplift many. 6. He was part of a turning point in Nigeria's history for the better (reforms, privatization, growth) 7. He is affable and will make friends for us in many nations. These are the qualities that we are looking for in a leader, and I find the claims about his alleged corruption tenuous at best. Even if you provide facts, we'll likely discover that he stands shoulders above the rest. Even Abiola (RIP) was no saint, yet was highly qualified (and elected) to lead. Atiku Abubakar for President in 2019 (never mind what I previously said about electing rocks) |
Very nice, and different. Chic. ![]() |
hatedisplace:I was going to suggest that too... chai... just wash the wound in salt for a few days to help disinfect it. You can still seek iodine or antibiotic later. if it remains serious, but at least salt will help. So lizard poo with all its bacteria seem cleaner? Na wa oh... Sorry girl. |
Rubbish! All these things were the result of hard work by Nigerians and oil prices recovering somewhat, not because of PMB's policies. The whole lot of them should just go on medical vacation till 2019, whereupon we'll vote in solid rocks. Rocks don't cost money to feed or maintain; won't waste money on travel; and best of all won't make nonsense policies that harm the economy or say things to heat the polity. Aso Rock for President, Olumo Rock for Vice. Who's with me? ![]() GEJ predicted it: he said we had a choice "between a record of visible achievements - and desperate power seekers with empty promises". I think it's obvious which one we got. |
No be lie sha... she resemble MJ small with all that bleashin, nose job (abi na contour makeup) ![]() |
brainpulse:Yes, some VJs need medicinal intervention, but the truth is, the mouth contains way more bacteria and other unpleasantries than the VJ. All the things that feast on the food particles left in your mouth, plus all the things we put into it while working - finger, pencil, spanner, paper, fuel hose, shaking hands with someone then later putting groundnut in your mouth, etc. transfer so many more germs to the mouth/nose in a day than the VJ sees in a month. In essence, the VJ needs to defend itself from the mouth of the eater, than the other way around. ![]() |
They've started again... this is one recurring complaint about Igbos: crass selfishness without a single care about how it will affect others. I'm from Anioma, and I see this kind of insensitivity from them all the time. How is this going to help matters? Claiming somebody's land as your own. Can you go and claim a piece of UK, even if you built a business there? Even if you bought land, the English will remind you that it's theirs. Same thing in Lagos. One can claim a lease to land within Nigeria, but don't actually OWN it, so whether you bought it or not, or it was gifted to you, it's not yours, since you're not sovereign. The only land you can claim (more as a heritage, not actual possession), that nobody can drive you from, is the one handed down to you by your ancestors. What is this man talking? There is tension in the country and MASSOB wants to add fuel? Then they will start complaining that nobody likes them, or is irritated by them. Fact is, it's a real anomaly the way Igbos are so troublesome and can't get along with the rest of the country, as everybody else can coexist without issues, and we just want to work together. Even the other parts of Nigeria that they want to claim have rebuffed them strongly and in no uncertain terms - Delta, Bayelsa, Benue, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers - because Igbos are not team players and have demonstrated time without number their disregard for anybody else. Even now, their focus is on how everybody treats Igbos. Have IPOB or MASSOB shed a tear for those gunned down in Asaba? Do they fret about businesses owned by Rivers people or by Delta people? Have they come out against the killings in Benue? As part of their lack of diplomacy, they don't even say "ehen, we're thinking of making our own country, would you be interested"? NO! They just say "ehen, you are joining us by force to create this other country". And why include other people without consultation? Because they really don't have the resources to make it on their own and are afraid/embarrassed to admit it (or maybe too conceited or stupid to realize it) I really would like to see the creation of Biafra (5-Ibgo states), just to watch it implode on itself and we can stop hearing about "if only", and "there was a country". We would happily admit them back after they realize their folly. Igbos think Biafra and Israel are similar. News flash: Israel is self-sufficient and technologically advanced, and knows how to make great allies and defend itself well from hostiles. Biafra will just rub everybody the wrong way with its arrogant supposition and attempt to impose its will on everybody else with no real substantive power or benefit. Biafra was not able to feed itself before and during the last war. Biafra has not been able to sustain itself without Nigerian money. Where do Igbos make money? Outside Igboland. Where do Igbos get their goods? Outside Igboland. Where do Igbos invest their wealth? Again, my friends, OUTSIDE Igboland. So what are we talking? ![]() |
Good. I'm sure there are many real Igbo men for her. To those saying she's doing shakara, there are many guys who are tired of the young pretty girls who have nothing to offer: they don't work, can hardly cook, cannot carry on a good conversation, and have little ambition except to slay... this is the type of woman they'd want at this stage. |
