Good good. It looks like one of those inflatable things, so nothing broken should they fall. It's great to have these things for children to do. If the entire family is out, one adult can watch the children while the others go shopping. |
TonyeBarcanista:So a business that has to import at the parallel market rate of #320 today, will somehow benefit when the official rate subsequently falls to #320? I don't get it. |
TonyeBarcanista:Please list these benefits, with a rough timeline of what will happen when. To wave your hands and talk about vague enormous benefits is not enough anymore. Be specific, so we can follow it and see if it makes sense. |
NavierStokes:In summary: - the voters, i.e. Nigerians, don't want devaluation; we don't want IMF; we don't want foreign speculators (masquerading as investors) - we are grumbling, but mostly hopeful of the future - we are begrudgingly proud of our President for standing up for us, against the interests of the West - the President is carrying out the wishes of Nigerians - the West is wailing ... Thankfully they can't stage or support any coups this time since he was democratically elected, so all they can do is attack his policies in the media. They say he's playing politics, what about politicians in the West? Don't they say and do things solely to get re-elected? Abeg, take your yeye analysis and face your country. ![]() |
Let's hope their version of every month has a 25th: Worker: "sir, I've not received my pay for April." Oga: "didn't you hear? only January, June and December have 25th, other months somehow skipped it" |
Arik... always disappointing people... |
Nice one! More of this, not that bum shorts and posing and pouting like a duck. ![]() |
youngeagle:If the daughter flew with private funds then no problem. We don't want anybody, children or ministers, flying first class with public funds |
OnReflection:Fully agree! I am Christian, but took Islamic studies in school and learned to read some Arabic. I would like to think it makes me appreciate the sameness found in religions which is simply to love God, and love your fellow person. |
Me too! I predict economic prosperity in the indeterminate future for Nigeria, just in time for the next elections! ![]() How will we do it? I don't know, but I'm sure we'll do this, and do that, and wave our hands, and "hey, look over there, EFCC harasses somebody!" When will it actually be done? In the future, but before elections sha. (or at least we'll promise to do it if elected) How many people will be affected: 500 million jobs! Your dog and goats will have well paying jobs too. Free electricity and fuel for everybody! |
We need to stop being the Top oil producer, so we can concentrate on other things to boost the economy. Let somebody else take the spotlight (and negative attention) for a change. |
Oya name checkers association, don't forget this one oh. If it was bad thing you would have filled the roster by now. ![]() |
What is Dubai security doing? How ones these people are not arrested upon all the pre-boarding security and X-rays? I'm going to assume they are not stupid: perhaps they already know from the X-rays, but they just alert Nigeria customs about a particular passenger, so they won't have to deal with extradition or jailing them... That's the only explanation that makes sense... ![]() |
And now more people are aware of this place. Well done! ![]() |
celebgists:Oh I'm very romantic... just not rich. Do I still get a kiss? But seriously, there are Nigerian dudes making money in Japan? wow! |
why do I never see cute girls fighting unclad? It's always people I'd rather not see unclad. ![]() |
Ha hah hah... change numbers for what? Will you also change your face and history? ![]() But seriously, you know you can easily block your ex's number from your phone, if that's the issue. You can show hubby that, since you've blocked your ex, no calls or messages can come through. Then again, I'm not entirely sure about this your husband sef. Even if a woman gets a new phone number and sim, nothing stops her from hiding her old sim in a "side phone" that she can do her dirt with. Ode ![]() |
talktonase:As long as you have money for "mobilization" and "fuel", Nigeria police are capable of getting some work done. On the other hand, if the car thieves gave police their share, you can be sure no range rover would have been found. I'm talking from personal experience, and know they eat from both sides of the table. Smh police. |
iliyande:Abi. But it's one thing to have a filling station, it's another to actually have fuel. Expect our uniformed brothers to still come and brutalize us at the filling stations. |
You'll notice how no Christians are going out in anger to murder innocent people as a result of this pastor's comments... Why then do our brothers from another religion get so upset if someone mentions something about the blessed prophet? Is it lack of education? Is it poverty and frustration? (I'm trying not to mention any specifics) |
Good gesture, and RIP to the gentleman. Just hope you won't owe her salary for 9 months |
It's always the presidents fault. Don't start changing tactics because it's your guy in charge ![]() |
Mega city this, mega city that. Just don't forget to add working water, sewer, and light. Otherwise you're just building future slums |
texazzpete:Of course it's fast. There are probably all of 10 people on it today. The issue is always when you have multiple cell radios trying to share the same frequencies, then bandwidth drops dramatically due to the overhead. What they need to ensure is that they increase the number of towers, and reduce the signal strength so you can have many localized cells of high bandwidth. Of course, being Nigeria, they will build fewer towers, and try to stretch the signal too far, meaning they will try to service too many cellphones with one tower, reducing bandwidth for everyone. I'll be watching though... |
I suspect the girl has already found another guy at Uni... |
Haba ![]() But mostly true sha... It's quiet and i haven't gone out for drinks as much |
idupaul:Heh heh, the fine ones all left for Lagos and Abuja and PH to "hustle" ![]() Na joke oh |
Up to a point. The girl in the picture above just needs to follow a regimen of waxing daily or at least twice weekly. All that hair is a massive turn off, even if she was fine. I'd also advise hormone treatment. Before you ladies jump on me, please realize that we all need to groom before putting our best face forward. Do you like a guy with long nails, bad breath, unkempt hair? |
Chai see insult. Nigerians sabi yab sha. |
Outrage, what outrage? We already know our money has been stashed abroad... That's old news. What's new news is that we have to spend the night at the filling station to buy fuel, and mosquitoes are having a field day with us at night cuz no light and no fan. And it cost 50% more to buy imports. And the funny thing is most of the outrage around the world is misplaced. For example, Iceland's prime minister didn't steal, he just didn't report an interest in an offshore company. When their politicians steal and stash money abroad, that is when I'll appreciate any outrage |
Well done governor! Really proud of what this man is doing. |
You should reflect deeply on what it is your wife is missing from your relationship, and then provide it. Is it - companionship? Spend more time with her - affection? Hold her - attention? Listen to her I could go on. In very many cases, it's my understanding that the man withdraws from the relationship, causing the woman to seek what she can't have with you, elsewhere. Of course it goes both ways, but since you're the one asking the question, it's probably safe to say that you should take the initiative and rekindle what you have. |
