One of the latest trends on Twitter right now is #Dickmatized and the hashtag is self-explanatory.

Apparently, a lady on Twitter raised this question – Ladies, what was the thing that made you sit back and say to yourself “Oh bitch, we might be dickmatized!”.

According to Urban dictionary, the term “Dickmatized” simply means a lady being impressed by or obsessed with a penis. Plus, when the dick is so good you start to catch feelings for the guy.

A man was reportedly caught having sexual intercourse with his own son in Asaba, Nigeria’s Delta state and photos of the incident have been circulating, and triggering mixed reactions on social media.

The Facebook user posted the photos with a caption: “The day people would start minding their business in this world, the better for them.
So a Father was having sex with his son and busybodies wouldn’t allow them do it in peace.

”What’s wrong with incest? Is it not people’s choice and what two adults have agreed to do with their bodies?
“If it were homosexuals now, everyone would start speaking out in support of the harassed party, but because this is incest, no one is saying anything.

“Incest should be legalized in the country. Everyone has a right to choose who they want to have sex with. It’s a matter of choice and sexual preferences.”

The controversial view expressed by the Facebook user has sparked negative reactions, with some condemning the culprits.

There must be something in the water! Sixteen intensive nurses at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, are pregnant.


Celebrity Babies of 2018
It’s an experience that has brought them closer together. “This isn’t an easy job to have when you’re pregnant and not feeling well all the time,” nurse Ashley Atkins told local news station KPHO-TV on Friday, August 17. “So it’s nice to share stories and have that support, and then you find out how supportive your coworkers are of you, and your management team, so it’s been a good experience.”

The women, who indulge their cravings at the cafeteria, revealed at a Friday press conference that pickles and olives were recently added to the menu just for them. As for the timing of their babies, nurse Jolene Garrow teased, “We all formulated this plan to have the holidays off!”

Garrow went on to praise her non-pregnant colleagues for stepping in and caring for patients that are suffering from conditions that are potentially dangerous for expectant women such as tuberculosis or shingles.

“There are certain disease processes that we don’t want the nurses to be exposed to. Certain infections,” said Heather Francis, a nursing director at the hospital, said at the press conference. “Also, chemotherapy drugs can be very toxic to the fetus.”

The women had no idea how many of them were pregnant until a group Facebook chat was created. Every day it seemed, someone new was getting added. Quipped Garrow: “One after another after another!”

A lot of students don't like Mathematics and here are some of the reasons they find the subject difficult.

As a student, you might have at one point or the other consider Mathematics to be a problem in your academic life.
Many students lose interest in this subject for many reasons.

According to Professor Yewande Olubummo, the daughter of the first Mathematician in Nigeria, late Professor Adegoke Olubummo, a lot of people find math difficult because they didn’t have good teachers.

However, apart from mathematics teacher making it difficult for students to like the subject because he/she is not very good at teaching the subject, here are three reasons students may dislike the subject.

1. It can’t be committed to memory

Mathematics is not like Literature in English or Biology that talks about stories and define concepts respectively. Instead, it deals with numbers that can’t be committed to memory.

You just have to thoroughly understand it and get your answers right for any given equation or word problem. If you can’t do this, you’ll hate it.


2. They find it boring

Except a school has a teacher that entertains the class with relevant examples and brilliant analogies, students hardly enjoy mathematics class.

Some topics in mathematics make the class atmosphere gloomy, when the calculations and X finding moments reach its peak.

The students get lost in a sea of numbers colliding into one another in the hand of the teacher. And his effort to make them understand the topic makes him more to appear to be talking to himself because the subject is dull and unexciting to the bulk of the students.

3. Fear of humiliation

This is another major reason many students dislike this subject. There is no middle ground in mathematics, it is either you get it right or wrong and some students nurse the fear of not getting the right answer when given a classwork.

Such students often hide under the narrative that maths is boring and difficult to protect their lack of interest in the subject.

A man throttled a mum-of-two during sex then kept her dead body in his bedroom for nearly a week, a court has heard.

Richard Bailey, 41, is accused of murdering Charlotte Teeling, 33, after meeting her on a night out in Birmingham on February 23 this year.

He denies murder, claiming Miss Teeling died by accident after she asked him to perform a choke hold on her.

During Bailey’s trial at Birmingham Crown Court today, jurors were told the pair met in Birmingham city centre and caught a taxi back to his house, where they had sex before Miss Teeling was smothered or throttled.

Her near-naked body was found surrounded by pornographic material in Bailey’s bedroom several days after she was reported missing on February 26.

Opening the case, Jonas Hankin QC, prosecuting, said: ‘It is believed the killing took place between 9.30am and 11.30am.

The Nigerian Dream' of tweeting one's love for Nigerian from far west colonies is very alive and kicking.

The average Nigerian millennial, hustling in Lagos has dreams of slipping out in the dead of the night without the knowledge of the ‘village people’.
He hopes to go ‘ghost’ for 3 months to live it up in Europe, the US or Canada, or get a Schengen visa before destroying social media with pictures with locations tagged. The business must sell.

No one has really put numbers to the desire for Nigerians to travel abroad until now. The Pew Research Centre released a new report on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. According to the centre, 74% of Nigerians would relocate to another country if given the chance.

Funny enough, despite the high percentage, some Nigerians felt it wasn’t accurate. With the rate at which Nigerians queue up at embassies, the percentage should be higher.

Reality of life abroad
In 2016, I had a conversation with a certain Tawa (not real name), 38 – then 36, and a mother of one, somewhere around Schoolgate, Ibeju Lekki for over 70 minutes. She had just returned – mostly for her son – from a 36-month sojourn  in London having saved enough while working as a nanny, and then, a babysitter.

She claimed she used to work with her sister’s work permit with whom she shares a striking resemblance, but it just goes to highlight the immense risks and ‘life on edge’ lived by these people. The juiciest in all the gist was the way illegal immigrants move through London in buses.

If it is true, I don’t know, but she says, “They basically only take buses driven by other Nigerians. Since they have no documents, they cannot get permits for buses or make payments. So, what they do is leave their homes around 3am to meet buses at stations to continue the sleep they cut short for one-to-two hours.”

She continues, “The reason is simple; they want to be on those buses before automated checks for passengers start with the central controlling system a little later. The crazy aspect though is during impromptu police checks. The drivers, being Nigerian help these passengers if they spot the police early enough. They always give them a head start to prepare to run — when necessary.”

Why relocate?
Foreign countries simply possess far greater prospects to anything Nigeria can offer most people, barring the affluent or the politicians.

Even some affluent people still loathe the idea of living in Nigeria. For the lucky immigrants who don’t get deported, the job opportunities and the prospect of great paydays are simply better than being faced with unemployment in Nigeria — especially for one without expertise in any craft or trade.

The desperation to live abroad is a worry, however. Recently, the BBC reported how over 50 Nigerian immigrant girls were victims of serial abuse, violent crimes, terrible working conditions and other factors that mirror modern slavery in Saudi Arabia — they also reported that the actual number runs into the thousands.

Equally, we hear of Nigerians who perish in the Sahara desert or the Atlantic Ocean while attempting to illegally cross to European countries like Spain through Libya and Morocco on overfilled boats or via the desert. We cannot really blame them, terrible conditions in their countries made extreme choices palatable.

According to the PEW Global research;

The rate of migrants from sub-Saharan Africa to Europe was pegged at about 970,000 people between 2010 and 2017.

About 400,000 people fleeing conflict from sub-Saharan Africa moved to the United States of America between 2010 and 2016. From that number, the US Department of Homeland Securities and US State Department records that 110, 000 people were resettled as refugees, another 190,000 were became lawful permanent residents by virtue of family ties and nearly 110,000 more benefited from the US diversity visa program.

The United Nations reports that about 420,000 sub-Saharan African migrants lived in Europe in 2017 (4.15 million) than in 2010 (3.73 million), and that another estimated 1.55 million sub-Saharan African migrants lived in the U.S in 2017, an increase of about a 325,000 from 2010, when an estimated 1.22 million sub-Saharan African migrants lived in the country.

The United Nations reports that more 51% of sub-Saharan African migrants living in the U.S. as of 2017 were born in just four countries: Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana and Kenya.

In terms of destinations, as of 2017, nearly three-quarters (72%) of Europe’s sub-Saharan immigrant population was concentrated in just four countries: the UK (1.27 million), France (980,000), Italy (370,000) and Portugal (360,000).

In the U.S., migrants from sub-Saharan Africa can be found across the country, with 42% in the American South, 24% in the Northeast, 18% in the Midwest and 17% in the West.

The problem is very much alive, but it is not one to be solved by criticism or appraisal, but with affirmative, pragmatic action.

Alex Iwobi makes his debut in Nollywood, as he takes his brand from the pitch to the movie industry.

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has made his debut in a Nollywood movie called INPADISU but is yet to be released.

Iwobi participated in the production of the movie after he represented Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which the Super Eagles crashed out at the group stage.

The 22-year-old Arsenal star took time out of his extended break to participate in the movie shoot around Surulere.

According to several reports, Iwobi was only in Nigeria for three days after the World Cup exit but took out some time to partake in the shoot for a day along highly rated actress Somkele Iyamah.

Iwobi put up a short video clip of him in the trailer released on his official Instagram account.

His post conformed his involved with a message which said, “Shot My Nollywood Debut Last Month ‍♂. A Movie About ‘Choices’ Coming Soon … #INPADISU”

According to several reports Iwobi’s did not do some high risk scenes as a stunt double was used in place of the Arsenal midfielder.

No release date has been confirmed for the movie but the trailer on Alex Iwobi’s Instagram states that the movie will be available in cinemas before the end of August.

The youngster follows the footsteps of former Nigeria international John Utaka who also showcased his acting skills in a Nollywood thriller.

Iwobi has returned to Arsenal and will hope to get his first Premier League minutes when the Gunners travel to face London rivals Chelsea in one of the top games this weekend scheduled for Saturday, August 18.

Man Charged To Court For Refusing To Pay After 3 Rounds Of Intercourse With Prostitute – Yesterday, a 28-year-old man was brought before an Ogudu Magistrates’ Court for allegedly refusing to pay a commercial sex worker after being serviced.

Sunday Omale, who is an Uber driver, lives at Alhaja Elesin Street, Ogudu, and is facing an assault charge for causing bodily harm after having three rounds of sex with 28-year-old Precious Mustapha. The accused was said to have refused to pay the sum of N6, 000 which she charged him after meeting at the Afrika Shrine, Ikeja.

Prosecuting Sergeant, Lucky Ihiehie said the offence was committed by the accused on July 29 at Ogudu. Iheihei also said Omale allegedly assaulted the complainant after having sex with her.

The prosecution said a heated argument rose when Omale said he did not have cash on him to pay her. They got into the car because he suggested that he would use his ATM card to withdraw for her, but Omale drove with the sex worker round Ikeja and Ogudu axis without stopping to use any ATM.

The prosecution said Omale also deceived the complainant by driving her to his friend’s house with the pretext of getting money from him to pay her. But the friend didn’t accommodate them.

According to Punch Metro, Ihiehie said,“When it became clear to the accused that there was no place where he could get money, he used an object to hit Precious Mustapha on the head and started beating her.’’

Magistrate E. Kubeinje set the bail at the sum of N50,000 with two sureties who must have evidence of tax payment for two years, and adjourned the case until September 25.
