Davido has slammed a disgruntled business partner on Instagram, over the latter’s attempt to shade him on Instagram.

It all started when Patrick Anyaene dropped a subliminal comment on a post on instablog when a Ghanaian actor gifted his wife a Porsche Cayenne Turbo car. Patrick Anyaene said: At least we will see her driving it… Unlike… Cough Cough… Pls make her plate number “REALITY”.

To which Davido immediately replied:

@kingpatrickgb sorry my woman can’t drive yet.. plus she hates the attention and only uses my driver when she really needs to use the car and I haven’t had time to teach her to drive.. but maybe a driver will do.. u can apply.

Patrick Anyaene of Golden Boy Entertainment is upset over a breach of contract between DMW and Golden Boy over Peruzzi. It is gathered that Peruzzi’s releases should carry both signatures of DMW & Golden Boy Entertainment which has not been happening.

A 13-year-old Kenyan school-girl, who was photographed hanging dangerously on a motorbike carrying has received help from a Nairobi-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

Faith Jepchirchir went viral on the internet after her photo was shared on social media.

According to the Standard, the young girl had reportedly walked for seven kilometers to help her grandmother gather firewood which she sells for their up-keep.

A boda boda rider offered to help ferry the firewood with the girl balancing atop the bike.

A social media user quickly snapped the photos which later made rounds on social media as jokes and memes.

The NGO, Soles for African Child, traced the girl to her grandmother’s home in Elgeyo Marakwet and gave her several pair of shoes.

She has also received dozen of offers from well-wishers who are willing to support and finance her education.

Faith, who aspires to be a medical doctor told the NGO thats she plans to buy her first pair of shoes with her first salary. Her teachers describe her as hardworking and disciplined.

In Ghana, a 38-year-old farmer reportedly murdered his wife who denied him of sex. Her copse has been recovered by the police.

A Ghanaian farmer Kofi Abraham has reportedly murdered his wife Nana Yaa for denying him sex.
The killer who is four years older than 34-year-old partner, allegedly slaughtered the deceased on Monday, July 30, 2018.

It happened in Assin Fosu located in the Central Region of Ghana says a report by Adom News which also confirmed that her corpse has been retrieved by the police.

Reports confirmed that the deceased experienced several machete wounds.

5 men raped by gay baboon admitted in hospital
In South Africa, a gay baboon named Somizi is a major headache for male residents after five were reportedly raped by the animal.

The victims were made to visit a hospital where they received treatment for an intense anal pain and weakness.

George Chiune, one of the victims had thought the baboon had an intention to kill him on his first encounter with Somizi.

The animal was however interested in only sex according to Zimbabwe Today (ZT).

“I thought it wanted to kill me but realized it was after my bum,” Chiune expressed according to ZT.

Somizi, reportedly accustomed to travelling alone, is believed to be an outcast.

Lizzie McKenzie, a specialist in the study of animals suspects the baboon is an outcast in a ZT report.

The senate president told the IGP he's concerned for his physical safety after being harassed by the police.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has written the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to explain why he won’t honour the invitation of the police force to answer questions on alleged links to the Offa robbery incident.

Nine police officers and at least 24 others lost their lives when a group of around 30 armed robbers attacked Union Bank, Eco Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, First Bank, Zenith Bank and Ibolo Micro Finance Bank, as well as the Owode Police Station in Offa, Kwara State, on April 5, 2018.

The police force has invited Saraki for questioning after the the main gang leader involved in the Offa robbery named him as his gang’s political sponsors.

In a letter, dated July 23, 2018, IGP Idris directed Saraki to report himself to the Intelligence Response Team office in Abuja on Tuesday, July 24. However, the senate president failed to show up, opting instead to preside over the day’s session at the National Assembly complex.

In his reply, in a letter dated July 24, Saraki explained that he failed to show up because he was concerned about executing legislative duties at the National Assembly as security operatives had also prevented his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, from leaving his house on Tuesday morning.

The Senate President further told the IGP that Tuesday’s incident with the police has left him concerned for his physical safety, and requested that investigators be sent to his office instead to question him.

He said, “For the record, I should mention that I received your letter at 8:30 pm on Monday 23rd July, 2018, inviting me for the next day at 8am. The two lawyers whose advise I needed were in Calabar and Lagos and have to travel to Abuja today.

“As you are aware, the deputy president of the senate was unable to leave his residence this morning to preside over the senate having been prevented from doing so by security agents. If he had been able to preside over the senate, I would have honoured your invitation.

“The absence of both presiding officers would have voided the sitting of the senate. This would have been damaging to national interest, particularly in the light of very important legislative matters that needed to be be addressed in view of the imminent recess of the national assembly.

“These included consideration of the electoral bill which was incidentally passed today. You will recall that Mr President had earlier directed as a courtesy to this office that in the event of any request for further information from me, you should either send your personnel to my office or obtain a written response from me.

“I need to place on record as well, that following the incident of being harassed and threatened at my residence by the police early this morning, I’m deeply concerned over my physical security.

“I request you therefore, to please assign your personnel who need information on this matter to meet me in my office immediately plenary, today or tomorrow or at any other day at your convenience.”

On Tuesday, Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Jimoh Moshood, had warned the senate president to report to the police force as soon as possible before it is compelled to use all the instruments of the law to ensure compliance.

While appearing on Channels Television on Wednesday, July 25, DCP Moshood also said the force has enough to charge the senate president to court with the amount of evidence available. He said the force will not hesitate to see to the prevalence of the rule of law.

Saraki’s alleged links to Offa robbery
According to DCP Moshood, the main gang leaders involved in the robbery are Ayoade Akinnibosun (aka, AY), Ibikunle Ogunleye (aka Arrow), Adeola Abraham, Salawudeen Azeez, and Niyi Ogundiran, all indigenes of Oro, Irepodun local government area of Kwara.

During the course of investigations, the main gang leader, Akinnibosun, named Saraki and incumbent Kwara governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, as his gang’s political sponsors.

He said, “I am the chairman of Liberation Youths Movement, Kwara South. My involvement with the senate president is we’re his boys; we work for him at Kwara South. We’re the ones that hold Kwara South for him. We’ve been working for him since he was Governor of Kwara.

“We mobilise and do political arrangement there (Kwara South). For example, where we can’t win, we make dabaru (disruptive) arrangement there; we scatter elections if we don’t win.”

Akinnibosun further disclosed that a Lexus jeep GX-300, which was used during the robbery, was a gift from Saraki which he received through Ahmed’s Chief of Staff, Yusuf Abdulwahab, who has also been arrested in connection to the robbery.

“The connections between me and the senate president is that he’s the one that is arranging everything for us. For example, this car (a Lexus jeep GX-300) was given to me by His Excellency (Governor Ahmed) through the Chief of Staff of Kwara state as a gift from leader, Bukola Saraki. I participated in the Offa robbery. I took this Lexus car along to Offa,” he said.

The vehicle was used in the robbery with a sticker plate number inscribed with “SARAKI” and registered to “Kwara, State of Harmony”. Abdulwahab allegedly replaced the vehicle’s number plate with a new one (registration number: Kwara, KMA 143 RM) and registered it in Akinnibosun’s name to cover up its identity.

Governor Ahmed’s personal assistant on politics, Alabi Olalekan, has also been arrested in connection with the robbery as he allegedly attempted to hide the vehicle in question. A revolver pistol and pump action gun were also allegedly recovered from his farm.

Akinnibosun told the police, and the media, that two of the guns used in the robbery were supplied to him by Abdulwahab, although he noted that he only supplied it for political thuggery and not the Offa robbery.

Akinnibosun has noted twice in public that his gang’s alleged sponsors, Saraki and Ahmed, knew absolutely nothing about the robbery.

More ‘evidence’ pile up against Saraki
Days after the first parade of the suspects in Abuja, the police paraded the gang leaders again and disclosed that more evidence had been unearthed about Saraki’s links to the criminal gang.

During the June 6 media briefing, DCP Moshood said two more suspects had implicated the senate president as a sponsor of political thuggery.

He disclosed that after the first media parade, Akinnibosun mentioned three other notorious political thugs who worked for Saraki in Kwara Central.

The police proceeded to arrest two of the suspects, Kehinde Gobiri (aka, Captain) and Oba Shuaib Olododo (aka, Jawando), who allegedly both admitted to committing various crimes in Kwara Central senatorial district under the guise of political thuggery for the senate president. The third suspect, Alhaji Dona, remains at large.

The police further alleged that, since the first briefing, all five gang leaders had confessed to having a direct connection to Saraki and were at his daughter’s recent wedding ceremony. He disclosed that they confessed to have been sponsored with firearms, money and operational vehicles by Saraki and Governor Ahmed.

DCP Moshood also claimed that Akinnibosun, Ogunleye and Abraham followed the senate president to the Olofa of Offa’s palace when he paid a condolence visit to the town after the bank robbery.

He concluded that, due to the new pieces of evidence, Saraki was still under investigation in connection to the Offa bank robbery and that the ongoing investigation would be driven to a logical conclusion.

In the IGP’s letter of invitation to Saraki, the police alleged that the last financial handout Akinnibosun got directly from the senate president was the sum of N500,000. He also reiterated that three gang leaders were in Saraki’s convoy on his condolence visit to Offa.

The last surviving female Spitfire pilot who flew 400 of the iconic planes during World War Two has died aged 101.

Mary Ellis was the last known surviving pilot of the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA), which delivered Spitfires and bombers to RAF airfields during the war.

At the start of the war, women were not allowed to fly military aircraft but this changed in 1940.

Mary, whose maiden name was Wilkins, joined the ATA in 1941 after hearing an advert for women pilots on the radio.

By the end of the war, she had spent more than 1,100 hours flying 56 different types of aircraft. She was one of the last six female pilots still flying for ATA by the end of 1945.

Mary married Donald Ellis in 1961, who shared her love of flying.

Earlier this year she was awarded the Freedom of the Isle of Wight, aged 100.

Announcing her death, Red Arrows pilot Mike Ling MBE said on Twitter: “More awful news.

A man beat up his wife while he was drunk and when neighbours found out about it, they dealt with him to make sure there wouldn’t be a repeat.

The 45-year-old husband reportedly battered his wife, Maria Viana Santana Pereir, and pushed her down the stairs of their home in Bahia, Brazil.

The physical abuse left the woman with cuts and bruises and she was bleeding when police arrived at their home in the town of Jacobina in northern Bahia, Brazil, on Sunday night.

When neighbours were alerted to the incident, they grabbed the violent husband and tied him to a pole.

He was later untied and taken to the Jacobina police station, where he was charged and held in custody.

The battered woman was taken to a nearby hospital, before being released on Monday morning.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris and President Buhari met behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa today, Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
This is following reports that the police laid siege of on the home of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki earlier in the day.

The police had earlier invited the Senate President to report to its office to answer questions on the Offa robbery case.

In his response, Saraki described the police invitation as a mere political game aimed at intimidating him and lawmakers who intend to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu’s home was also cordoned off by men of the Department of State Services and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Though the police boss did not address newsmen after the meeting, Vanguard reports that Idris might have briefed the President on what happened earlier today.

Police threatens Saraki
The police has also vowed to use of force if Saraki fails to honour its invitation.

Its spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, also denied reports that policemen stooped the Senate President’s convoy from leaving his house.

Reacting to comments by Nigerians on the invitation of the President of the Senate by the police, presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu said Buhari does not tell the police what to do.

Shehu also frowned at the orchestrated campaign against President Buhari whenever a Very Important Person (VIP) was invited by the law enforcement agencies, in the discharge of their legitimate duties, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

The President’s spokesman also called on accused persons to approach the courts, adding that Nigeria’s law is for everyone and not for poor alone.

Money and good sex are some of the attributes a FUTA student expects from her man.

A female undergraduate who cannot relate with broke guys has pointed out a list of attributes her would-be lover should possess.
She will like her interests to be good in bed and of good financial standing.



Her demands were made clear in a viral IG video.



“I am not broke so I cannot relate with a broke guy. Hmm?

“If you don’t have what it takes to be my boyfriend, please don’t ask for my number.

“You have to be able to care of me financially and on bed especially. Bed has to be contributed.

“If you are not good on bed please don’t ask for my number. If you don’t have money, please stay in your house,” says the young lady who reportedly studies Marine Science & Technology at the Federal University of Technology in Ondo State.

Social media backlash
Her demands and English Language competence offered jesters an opportunity to mock the female graduate who was dismissed as dim-witted and also lacking direction.

The lady’s comment “bed has to be contributed” was a hard one to forget for observers who dragged her for the incorrect grammar and her shabby hair.

Another lady also has a bunch of demands and they are cash specific.

A South African lady has taken to Twitter to list attributes she expects from a would-be husband and one of them includes one who earns a sum of N27 million as monthly income.


The slay queen tweeted her requirement on Sunday, February 25, 2018. She would have her future partner who must reside in either Pretoria or Joburg own an apartment and a personal business, drive a 2-door car and must be between the 21 to 29 age group.

Her tweet which has gathered quite a number of attention has received over a thousand comments. Some of these saw her followers direct witty remarks at her.
