So I'm the only one who noticed that Mrs Buhari's pic has been heavily airbrushed? Well it has been heavily airbrushed |
I hope they shot that Liberian and Incinerated his body. We dont need no goddam patient Zero in a country where doctors are still on strike ![]() |
GuyFawkes: Don't be ridiculous are we talking of Jerusalem or the Israel that was dubiously created by Zionists? Last time I checked it wasn't restricted to Jerusalem alone.Arabs owned 85% of the land as at 1945 and they have been losing more territory ever since.Your comparisons with Jerusalem from ancient, antiquity, middle ages down to the modern era as it changed hands severally bear no comparisons with 1947 whatsoever when a 'jewish state' was created.I dont give two fvcks about the Arab and the Jew. In my opinion, they are historically the worst enemies of the Negro and if they want to kill themselves, then it's absolutely fine by me. The only part of your assertions that I had to tackle is the false narrative that the Jews are Colonialists who robbed the Arabs of their lands. That is a lie. Now I don't doubt your assertion that Arabs owned 85% of the land in 1945, but as at 1945 the Arabs had been ruling the Area for over a thousand years after militarily conquering Jerusalem. It's like saying the Brits have exclusive claim to Ikoyi and VI because as at 1945, they owned 85% of the land in the area. Such a claim in not just ludicrous, but an exhibition of gross idiocy. After all, who else would own the land but the conquerors? Jerusalem has been contested by the Jebusites, and then the Jews, and then the Romans, and then the Greeks, and then the Persians, and then the Christians, and the Persians again, and then the Arabs, and then the Turks, and then Brits and Finally the Jews With the exemption of the Greco-Roman Axis, ownership of the area has passed back and forth between Jew and Arab/Muslim. Nobody OWNS the place. The Jews and Muslims have been fighting over the area for so long that even their ancient Holy Books set Armageddon(The final Battle) in the area. The Jews believe the last Messiah will restore Jewish Jerusalem, The Christians who evolved from Judaism believe the battle will be fought in the plains of Meggido, while the Muslim Arabs believe it would be fought in Bilad al-Sham which encompasses Palestine/Gaza/Israel Like I said earlier, there is no good or bad side here, no oppressor and an oppressed, just a bunch squabbling neighbours who hate each other's guts and have been at each other's throats for centuries.... |
GuyFawkes: Well i read your contributions on the thread and I see which side of the divide you lean towards. Why not? You are the one who came out and made very strong assertions that 'Israel was founded by military conquest and terrorism. It is being sustained by military domination and terrorism.' Why would you make such an assertion and then refuse to discuss the 'demographic makeup of the city back then'? ![]() After all, it IS a matter of historical fact that the Arabs actually took control of the region by military conquest and terrorism. It was then sustained for over 1000 years by military domination and terrorism. Is that not so? Unless you are unconsciously admitting that you are just another unoriginal pseudo-intellectual regurgitating a narrative you heard somewhere in an attempt to feel funky... ![]() |
Nigerian Conspiracy Theorists are the most deluded and unoriginal of the entire bunch. The only original entry from the OP on this thread is his disclaimer...every other post is lifted word for word from other blogs and websites. Not one shred of an original thought from the OP at all ![]() The funny thing is, the OP via his sneakily plagiarized content(Yes one can still plagiarize even after providing references) has only provided 'evidence' from blogs and social media while saying this: NairaMinted: Wow! Just, wow! The US government want to impose sanctions and possibly go to war based on evidence from social media sites and common sense?? Shame, shame, shame!!The mind boggles. There will be an argument that the US will need a stronger platform than social media to launch their war machine into Eastern Europe, but what's good for the goose is good for the gander no? OP needs to get a life. Thank God he's been banned by the spambot ![]() |
GuyFawkes: Good, you have a formed opinion already concerning the discussion at hand why don't you keep it to yourselfI asked you a very simple question. How did the Arabs take control of the area in the first place? I did not offer any opinions whatsoever Now are you going to answer the question? |
GuyFawkes: The Israeli government has always held the position that Palestinians have no rights in their homeland. Israel was founded by military conquest and terrorism. It is being sustained by military domination and terrorism. The Israelis can maintain their military dominance for the present, but they can't do it forever, and when the day comes when they can't maintain it the retribution will be dreadful. The only way Israel can survive in the long term is to acknowledge the legitimate grievances of the Palestinian people and make amends for their misdeeds. The American and European efforts to a "just peace" are just window dressing, because the Israelis are not now and have never been willing to treat the Palestinians with humanity and justice. For those who wish the Israelis well, the course they have followed since the beginnings of the conflict in the early 20th century is distressing because ultimately it will result in their destruction. That is the plain truth.Mr Funky, Can you explain to the house how the previous rulers of that region came into power before the annexation by the British in 1920? How did the Arabs come to rule Jerusalem as far back as 635 AD I'll give you a clue....it starts with Military Conquest ![]() |
2good: I don't have time to argue blindly with you. FYI I also schooled in Europe and currently work and live in Europe with my wife and son who also have a western passport. All these information are irrelevant to the facts. Not all westerners supports the nonsense happening. Many westerners are not in support of what their government is doing but there is nothing they can do about that.Answer the question my friend. Does your western passport repudiate your claims to your ancestral homeland? Yes or No? You are the one who has been arguing blindly with no concrete facts, and only a desire to sound funky. |
2good: European Jews migrated en mass after end of second world war. The Jewish population was 20% in the early 1940's and there was relative peace in the region. Just like Europeans migrated to Australia, Africa and America to subdue the local, they did the same thing in the Palestinian territory only that they got more resistance than they experienced from Africa, Australia and America. Apartheid was enforced in South Africa in the same period and remember Nelson Mandela picked up arm and fought the then white ruler-ship including destroying of public properties and was labelled a terrorist before he was arrested and sentenced to life in prison. How is that different from the Palestinian crisis? You keep going on and on about European Jews as if there wasn't ALREADY a Jewish presence in the contended areas. I live in Europe with a European partner and have a European son. I have a European passport. Does this mean I have to forfeit my ancestral land in Lagos state? ![]() You are a joker. Jerusalem, for example was built by the Jews as a matter of of historical fact, yet it was conquered by the Muslims who subsequently built one of their holiest mosques on the same site as the jew's holiest temple. The fact that the Jewish population was only 20% of the population(according to you anyway) does not in anyway diminish or repudiate the validity of their claims to the area....given that they were actually driven out by CONQUEST anyway... The Jews themselves assert in their holy books that they had conquered and claimed this area from the Philistines, Edomites, etc... Claim and Counter Claim. Nobody has exclusive rights to the area. |
2good: No the Arabs don't own that place. The people living there historically own that place irrespective of their religious conviction and these people are called Palestinians. People change their religion every day and that does not deprive them of their right to their property. That is just common sense.Historically the people living there have varied over time and nobody actually has the sole exclusive claim to the area. |

The Nigerian Government has failed us. It's not unheard of for sentenced murderers to covertly walk out if jail after the right sum has exchanged hands. I have personally met a guy who got convicted of murder and sentenced to death. He spent 4 years in Kirikiri before being 'bailed' by his uncle. As at 2012 when I last saw him, he was a dealer around Evans Square, Ebutte Metta. A lot of these robbers are also murderers and I don't blame people for taking the law into their own hands. A lot of these fookers eventually walk free in the end, even the caught and convicted ones. And to some people, the collateral damage of accidentally lynching a few innocent people is a small price to pay, as long as the process gives them a target to vent their anger on. I can understand this reasoning. I don't support lynching...but I get the sentiment behind it |
2good: Middle eastern Jews have lived in Peace with the Arabs for centuries without any problem. The current problem is due to Europeans Jews leaving their country in Europe to colonize someone else's territory simply because of their persecution by Hitler. Land ownership have never had anything to do with religious conviction but strictly historical habitat.Like I said earlier, Nihilist: What a lot you 'funky hipsters' have been pushing is a false narrative of a tiny group of Palestinians squaring up to a colonialist Israel. The Ottomans who conquered and held Jerusalem from 1516 till 1917 (over 400 years)were the biggest and premier Muslim empire in history.... They were from Turkey. Turkey IS in Europe And before them, the area in contention had at some point been ruled by the Romans from Italy, the Persians from Iran, and the English from England So your thing about "leaving their country in Europe to colonize someone else's territory" is quite simply horse manure. These people have been fighting this war for thousands of years. This is not a good vs evil or big vs small narrative. This is a case of squabbling neighbours who hate each other intensely and will never quit. Which is why a 2 party state would be disastrous. It would empower Palestine and would lead to a vicious escalation of this war. Power is cyclical, and it's simply Israel's turn to dominate now. Palestine's time may yet come in the future.. |
2good: Europeans Jews have no right to claim a land based on some ancient Biblical/ Torah stories. .This is just pure BS. I personally don't give two about the war in the Middle East, but I have to correct your nonsense. The Jewish claim to those lands in actually historically documented from the antiquity to the roman times to the Middle Ages and end of the crusades up until the 20th century. And thier claim to the land is just as valid as the Palestinians who have also been present in those areas since time immemorial. What a lot you 'funky hipsters' have been pushing is a false narrative of a tiny group of Palestinians squaring up to a colonialist Israel. That narrative is simply untrue. This is a battle for resources that has been going on for millennia, and each of the combating ethnic groups has had the upper hand at some point. |

I completely disagree with your hypothesis of game minutes adding up and being very important etc... Sporadic appearances in meaningless games don't really improve youth players. These dead rubber games are only used as to showcase the array of talent the club has behind the scenes. A preview. A taster. A trailer. Nothing more. Youth improvement only comes from sustained exposure to 1st team football. We are talking about the prolonged runs in the 1st team that led to Beckham,Scholes, Butt, and the Nevilles forming the spine of a Manyoo team when conventional wisdom in Alan Hansen claimed that "You can't win anything with kids" Arsenal are renowned for their youth project....I mean Fabregas was club captain at 19. That's what Guapo and Mithel refer to. Muller and Kroos at Bayern were given sustained runs. Ditto Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and co at Barca. In fact, Guardiola got rid of Ronaldinho who was one of the world's best footballer at the time to build a squad around a teenage Messi. That is the kind of integration that we are talkin about Nateevs, and Chelsea just doesn't do that. Asides promoting to the 1st team, the only other way, which also seems to be the CFC preferred model, is to develop talent is to send them out on loan and let other clubs develop them for us. This is what we are all bemoaning, as we think that some players are good enough to make the jump from reserve to 1st team squaddie playing guaranteed regular 1st team football. Appearances in a dead rubber game means nothing. I'm surprised you don't know that |
I'm not exactly sure what Nateevs is driving at really... Guapo and Mithel have been referring to a more organic integration of youth prospects developed in-house and purchased assets, similar to what you see at Bayern, Barca, Arsenal, Manyoo etc... The fact that Romeu had only 22 league(according to Nateevs) appearances out a possible 76 proves that he wasn't an integral part of the jigsaw at CFC. Btw Romeu was signed from Barca sef and not developed in house per se. Sturridge was played out of position to accomodate the 50 million pound flop. He too was not an an academy product Bertrand was only used for cup runouts and backup for when Mr Cole was injured. So I'm not exactly sure what your point is.... Are you saying that previous managers have given the youth a chance, but the youth haven't taken it? Are you saying that the youth were integral to the squad strength pre-Jose? Or are you just being pedantic and pointing out that some youth players made appearances pre-Jose? Because I don't see how you countered Guapo's point... |
E pain the man no be small... "Honey....let's fvck" "No I'm watching friends" *Another entry in the database...x2* This nigga must have been good at writing names of noisemaker back in the day |
I cannot believe I missed this war. Then again, maybe it's good that I did... The combatants were lacking in quality with thier substandard, generic and sadly predictable 'mother anal village sango slaughter' lines. At one point they were all saying the same lines sef... You lot need bring the classics back...no school like the old school really... "With your scatter scatter teeth like James Bond bullet" - Classic "Your mother analized by 10 thousand bastards in a village cursed by amadioha"- Lame Keep it classic fellas ![]() |

publicenemy: @OP did you read the thread of the Redeem Pastor who got killed by his son?You will find that the boy over-reacted to the extreme brutality of his dad's brand of 'punishment' His dad beat him with his fists and with a spatula, and BIT him with his teeth... So please spare us the BS. Thanks. |
yousee: I am totally in support of corporal punishment. This! This is exactly what my mum used to do to me.... I only ever got flogged at school. It's what I do to my boy now. |
Corporal Punishment is barbaric and needs to be stopped. Africans seem to confuse fear with respect. Flogging a child forces him to fear the parent and not necessarily respect him. I never EVER hit my own little boy I want him to consciously understand what is wrong and avoid doing it for the fact that it is wrong, and not avoid wrongdoing for the fear of violence. |
