 Okorocha, Okorocha, Okwu okwu 1 of imo state.Another news pls. Look at him establishing 3 universities Yes as much as i agree Imo state need more schools but it should be technological schools with affiliation to foreign countries so that they would have the best and ready to be employers. |

Even if the free education is given to Msc level, i am sure less than 30% of Anamberians wd go for it because education is meant for women in your state while university of main market is for men. What do u know about education? the problem of Imo state is Employment and that is not about employing them even in the civil service but creating the environment. Go to Naze Junction, u wd see an abandoned SME site, whats his plan in completing such wonderful project Can u beat Aba for Ariria Market, why wd every imoite go to lagos, Rivers, Abuja to look for work. Do u remember when all the Akpans were cooks and maids untill Gov.Duke came on board, that's a man who is ready to transform his state. Today Cross River is generating employment through their tourism industries. Soon u wd hear Rochas building waterfall as a project, u will read it here too. |

Except u : 1. Wish to be married to a zombie (2) Someone you would provide for and (3) A confirmed woman rapper Families are fashioned to work with responsibilities and obligations. A good man wont be told to help out and its the dream of every woman but its not a rule. There is nothing frankly wrong with a man doing stuff, some would do it happily, some would even do it and u may end up redoing it, some wont at all, if he wont at all then what i need is his understanding, get all the machinery to ease them and you the woman the administrative sense to put them into good use. That is also a way of helping. On a lighter note, I hv an uncle who is always quarreling with the wife because he is extremely good in house chores and that turned him into a " nagging husband" Always complaining about how this are kept, how foods are cooked etc. Abeg i no wan dat kinda husband's help ooo |

Already there is free education to JSS3 so he is only taking up SS1-3 withoutout the Waec fee. Fair i must say, I paid WAEC fee recently and i think Imo state pays higher than any other state with all the security fee this and that. Roads: He has started some roads but my dear, wait, we know how they begin, let him complete them before posting himself on mercury. Now do you know any civil servant in Imo state, call him to tell you if he is still in love with Rochas, Retirees and all the lots. He talks too much. His 100, 000 to Imo students studing in Imo state institutions, how fair do u think he is? What of those in FUTO, ALVAN, POLYNEK that are federal schools, What of other Imoites schooling in other states, he is sure brewing trouble. Wdn't it have been better to sort out unemployment in Imo state. An average Imoite is a potential undergraduate and afterwards a potential keke driver. What infrastructures are available in the schools. Whatever project he brings out to u guys is to increase his pocket. I am sure of this. |

He talks too much and does little, He wants to impress Nigerian because his target is the Presidency but we know better. Imo people are not as daft as he thinks. @ queensmith &Uju Career is Good. A wife also understands the importance of her family and why she is made a wife and not just a woman or a husband. Its not about religion its about your own style of making your home what u want. If dragging chores with a man is what makes one a career woman, i wonder what makes a man the head of the family. Anyway the poster is only asking on how to cope with her chores and not how to share it with her husband. @ poster, I am sure u have been able to pick tips that could help from all the posts and most importantly no two marriages are the same. So know what works for you and not what someone is doing else u could burn ur fingers. Be a wife and not just a woman. |

queensmith:Let us be truthful to ourselves even if we are not doing these things in our homes. Even the bible tells us the qualities of a virtuous woman and that of the head of the family. No matter how modern we think marriage has become, we cannot take away the foundation. If you have good relationship or understanding with ur husband on these things fine if not a wife should prepare her mind towards keeping the home while the man should prepare his mind towards providing for the home, that is not to say there wont be room for switching roles. I give u example, My husband leaves home by 6 am and comes in earliest 7. 30 pm and i understand his schedules, i have never expected him to do any chores for me, but we understand that we need each other to pull thru. If i am tired, we could eat any light food. He washes his cloths on Saturdays and believe me on Sundays he leaves the house by 7. 30am and comes in 4 pm, now tell me how he would sweep and do the cleaning for me.. He makes it up to me by understanding with me when i am worn-out. Now i have a cousin staying with me but remember u cannot leave ur home in the hands of a maid beside u must have a standard in your home which she would follow suit else, , No one is enslaving anyone except when the heart of a woman is fighting her position in the family. @OP Plan yourself there is still more stress to come! 1 Like |

OP As much as i know its not easy but i think its too early to complain except if you grew up where maids do everything for u. I suppose u more like live in a flat maybe with running tap. All u need to do is to sit down and work out how to run ur home chores. decide chores to be done in the morning and those to be done in the evening and remember make sure the kitchen is fixed each night before going to bed so that u only wake up to fix food for the morning. make long cooking foods during weekends eg. stew and soups. stock items necessary for fast food to help u. U can even shop on friday during break period so that u can start early on Saturdays. |

@Op There are so many reason why your hubby could be away from you at this time. First i want you to check yourself, it may sound harsh but its always true, most women after giving birth becomes aggressive, always nagging, insensitive to their appearance and withdrawn. Most men would want to see you still vibrant and radiant. If you allow the breast-milk to become your perfume that could send him away and his next abode would be wherever that makes him happy. secondly make ur bed, u know what i mean, If he has being coming on that bed with u before, check what he is missing on that bed and light the candle again. And if he is adamant then it may be psychological issue associated with some men who fear u may look tokubo on bed, u can talk to him about how u feel or both of you can go for counseling 1 Like |

You are right on point. Most times you dont get to know this discrimination untill u are out of the system, and unfortunately both the govt and the employers are bent on frustrating them. I hv often asked, if the system is not functional and the standard not acceptable by most institutions, why not scrap it or look into the curriculum. Even in Govt parastatal they can only get to a certain level. I can never forget Diamond Bank Experience. The truth be told going thru the polytechnic and going thru the university, one would not fail to notice why this discrimination is always alive. the rigours in the uni are more demanding even though in some same courses, polytechnic graduates spend more years. Now what is the crime of Polytechnic graduates? Why has the govt not bring out a clear view of their reason for establishing polytechnics and their future career chances?that way people would know before hand if they actually want to be at that level. I attest that most polytechnic students are not there because they are dull but because of the Nigerian factor, Post UME and all the "ojoros"and sometimes the nature of the system which allows one to do OND and later HND. The other hand most lecturers in the polytechnic are average with mostly Msc. few PHDs and are often not interested in breaking records. In the labour market, i have worked with both products, each institution has its own beauty i appreciate. I must say that in engineering our university graduates do better while in Accounting and management, our polytechnic products are far better then i ask? why cant the authorities look into this problem and fix things that needed fixing than subjecting people 5 years of emptiness after graduation. I am a product of both but for me untill this madness is cured, no one from my linage wd go to the polytechnics. 1 Like |

Sometimes i feel like shouting at her but she is on the managerial level too. Its not a riot perse! A Hausa mobile shot a danfo driver and that generated chaos. There hv been demonstration around Ogbo Manu, Oguta Road and Anambra Broadcasting Service office around GRA. My advice is that people around this areas should be careful with their movement and Hausas should stay away to avoid more troubles. |

Most candidates are selected based on their brilliance and ability to follow up, that is to say, there is a designed modality of on-the job training which i suppose at present, Human capital development considers the most effective form of training. This is the reason u see banks Management trainees. One can ready banking and finance without doing well in the banking sector because as it is even Nigerian tertiary institution and her curriculum does not give up to 40% of the required practical IQ to perform office jobs. the Best customer care personnel in my office studied microbiology, so what do u have to say about that? |
