What is the business of the mother in law on the plot of land that the new couple want for themselves. I mean some of these mothers in law do not know where their boundaries end. Honestly we truly loved each other very much. We've known for 3 years, but he proposed last year Feb. He's my best friend. I can tell him evenything, with him, am just me. No forming because we know so much about each other.
I know he's been trying so hard, he's so eager to marry me just that things are not working as expected. The small business he's managing now, we joined hand and set it up together. He so much loved me, but he has no money to make it happened.
I had another suitor who is well to do. This guy is rich. My mum and everyone in the family wants him for me, but the thought of marrying someone else, scare hell out of me.
I am not getting any younger. Am in my late twenties and he's 30yrs, but he can't afford our marriage.
He kept pleading with me not to leave him. I don't want to let him go either, but how long am I going to wait?
We recently did an estimation of our traditional and white wedding. Everything almost 1million. I doubt how he can afford that money from the little things he's getting from the business. On my own part, I recently quite my job, but I just got something that can fetch me 20k in a month while am applying for jobs.

This story is not complete, you didn't tell us why u refused going with ur hubby and his mum,since u are the one that initiated the idea of going to check the land....it seems u are not in good terms with ur mother in-law...pls am not justifying what ur husband said,in fact he was very wrong to av used dat word.

But then again,u ought to have know that men are emotionally attached to their mothers,while women to their dad,hence u shouldn't have denied going since the mom is going too.Also the way u replied him,wen u told him u are not going since the mom is accompanying him,might have made him get angry....just my thought though...keep praying and hoping for the best.

You are a lucky man finding such an honest spouse... She has confessed her errors before her maker and even you. Go ahead with your marriage with her cos she's a good woman. We have all made terrible errors at some point in life. Only a scarce few are bold enough to confess his /her deepest errors the way ur fiancee just did.

Here is a man who receives more than 170 in a month. Gives his wife 30K and spends let's say 50-70k if it's even up to on other house items.

What does he do with the rest? Until you learn to be accountable to your wife, she'll continue to feel insecure and suspecius of you.

You have rights to spend your money the way you like no doubt, but just explain to her how, it is her rights.

Harvard University Denies Senator Dino Melaye Ever Studied There, Only Attended A One-Week Seminar


Harvard University in Boston, United States, on Tuesday refuted a claim by Senator Dino Melaye that he was at any time educated at the prestigious Ivy League school, the Registrar’s Office immediately dismissing the suggestion as soon as an official cross-checked it.


Senator’s posturing is also reflected on his LinkedIn account and has been previously showcased stated in (an interview with the media)(in media interviews).

The Harvard Kennedy School of Educational Leadership confirmed that Dino Melaye presented himself in November 2016 only for a one-week seminar in leadership.  Asked if that qualifies as academic achievement, the respondent said "No," adding that the seminar also doesn't qualify anyone to become a Harvard alumnus.

Following a motion by Senator Ali Ndume asking the Senate’s Ethics and Privileges Committee to investigate allegations that Melaye didn't properly graduate from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, Melaye had bragged that he has at least eight postgraduate degrees.

Mr. Melaye has been caught in a major certificate scandal in which Examination Officers at the Department of Geography, ABU, where Melaye took undergraduate classes, confirmed that he did not graduate from the institution.  They went further to say that the documents he presented to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) were manipulated between Melaye his then Head of Department, Prof. David Ogbonna.

The Examination Officers pointed out that Mr. Melaye was registered in the university as "Daniel Jonah O. Melaye," a name they said was neither in the graduation brochure of ABU when his set graduated, nor found in any other graduation document. In particular, the Exam officers pointed to how during his final year, the HOD added 2 course units to boost Melaye's CGPA.

Mr. Melaye had reportedly bribed university officials to produce fake transcripts, on the basis of which he attended a program at the University of Jos, the University of Abuja, and currently at ABU. Several of Melaye's classmates and comrades also disputed his claim that he was a Students' Union Government President at ABU, at best, they stated Melaye was a president of the National Association of Geography Students (NAGS) from where he was impeached for fraud.

Another claim that the Senator studied at the London School of Economics could not be verified as of the time of going to press.

i called the gas station to find out the new price and i expressed my shock when the dude told me it was 5k for 12kg. he told me to hurry & come get it cos they were waiting for confirmation to change the price to 8k. na so i run with my gas can like Mr Bolt.

I really pity the Nigerian students. How will they cope with all this expensive food and cooking prices.
