If you don't get anyone see if your contacts can help u cargo d food via airfreight. You should get it within a month.
Nefetitiram my sis, i explored that option before coming here to ask. It doesn't look like there's a shipping agent in El Paso. One must first send the items to Houston before it is airfreight to Nigeria. Also, one month is a long time. I need the food today , tomorrow.

Hello fellas!
Y'all may notice that the previous Houston vigilante bug has been transmitted from Houston cbp to New York cbp and vice versa.

Now Houston is even. More accommodating whilst the NYC JFK cbp are now beaming search light on naija preggies apparently.

Didn't know after due diligence and honesty dey ll still go ahead and stamp dat dear lady just 3 months stay (exactly one day after her apparent exit from the states as stated on her itinerary).

Those running away from Houston, guess u should have a rethink...
Gbam
It's because they read what we post here. NYC have been termed 'the easier way out of POE wahala'.

Maybe it's your threat that made them to reduce their rate, they are among the cheapest now @ #220. Sometimes I think it's even better to buy from black market and carry all our money, den pay up hospital and doctor asap, and still have less cash at hand. I rmber hubby buying dollar at #209 just about one week before I travelled, and when I wanted to buy, the rate was already abt #224. Who knows how much black market dey sell now?
Lol. I'm sure they got similar calls and threats from other Nigerians too.

220 dey pain me en... Mscheew.... Hahhahahahhaaha hahhahahahhaaha.... cheesy
Take your mind off it to avoid being sad all through your stay. I paid 225 per dollar with my GTB card throughout my stay in the US and it wasn't funny. I simply chanelled my energy to the reason why I was there and forgot everything about exchange rate in order to maintain my sanity.

Before I left, I called Gtb customer care and told them I will never keep a kobo of mine in my accounts with them because of how we were ripped off by them whilst customers of other banks got better exchange rate. I made sure I carried out my threat upon arrival. Yeye bank. Never ever benefitted anything from them yet they kept taking from me by every means possible.

some of u here are trouble makers n absolutely do the most!!! A grown woman and a big shot manager (yes I had to put it) took her time to share her experience n u call it gibberish? If it is who I'm thinking of then it is unfair to try n play down on her " truth"! I wish she can let me post the pics of her triplets here or go to her Fb n see for urself! Na wa for some of u " NEGATIVE NANCYS"
My dearest sister, it is not trouble making but warning other unsuspecting mums who might fall victims. It's because it didn't happen to you or anyone close to you. It has happened to someone close to me and it is very horrific. I will beg her to come share her experience. It was very sad to say the least but I thank God it ended in praise for her. I still maintain that the man and the hospital Are not equipped for higher order risk deliveries! Why cross all the oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, streams from Nigeria to the United States with a higher risk pregnancy to end up with such a facility or get exposed to such a nasty experience? Is it really worth it? And who says that 36 weeks of multiple pregnancy guarantees one of evading the NICU route? Let us properly guide one another here. Let us tell one another the truth and save someone from making a mistake she will regret later on.

Note: I am not saying he is not a good doctor . My take is that he is not equipped for higher risk order pregnancy deliveries , neither is Oakbend!

@Olokings, God pass them jare. Regards to your wife.

Na because of you o. Cos i have typed the long washing. Triplets ko, octoplets ni. *continues grinding pepper with grinding stone*
I laughed so hard after reading the gibberish! Triplets ko! How convenient! Any triplets mum who goes there , does that at your own risk. Remember to come share your experience and the bills you incurred from the hospital they would have sent you to because the man has no business delivering triplets and above babies. Don't let anyone deceive you.

No one is saying he is a bad doctor. Just taking more than he can handle. He is only human
I for enter one chance but my friend he almost messed up and was rushed to a high brow hospital warned me. I ran without looking back. As far as I'm concerned, he should stop collecting high risk pregnancies because he isn't ready for them. The day he will get into trouble, ehennn! I don talk my own.

Thanks @financefitness
Congrats on the birth of your triplets. I have also said it here before. Anyone with a multiple pregnancy or complicated pregnancy shouldn't go near dr. F or Oakbend. They are not a level 3 hospital o! And our dear F doesn't give a hoot after collecting your money .

The Nigerian blood in Dr F wouldn't let him turn down patients even when he is over booked. I don't think there is anyone that has sent him a mail and he did not respond. Thus thread has made him very popular hence the high demand. People should just be aware of what they may be getting at the end and be prepared.
You can say that again! Ojukokoro, aka GREED.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by Nogen:
FinanceFitness:
@all - don't think it is compulsory that your doctor delivers you o - I know dr F is particularly very busy - they can send in another doctor if unavoidably absent. I know this happened to a friend in another hospital.

We've also seen some labours progress so quick that the nurses end up taking delivery...

Dr F is no way Dr Ak o.....
That guy is very inconsiderate and unprofessional. He did the same to a triplet mum. I wish she will come here and tell her stories. Thank God she warned me and i sharply booked the next available flight to El Paso.

I actually find this strange. When I contacted Rodolfo earlier, he said Dr Martell was retiring, hence, he won't be taking any patient again.

I actually find the excuse flimsy in my view, people have been rejecting some tests from time immemorial and he didn't stop taking us.

I honestly don't think this response is correct. But we will know for sure if he really retires soon.
The lady was right. Dr. Martel also told me the same thing. I bumped into him at the Labour and delivery ward and I accused him of rejecting Nigerians. He complained bitterly about us. In fact, I was so ashamed by the time he was done. How can a woman who is HIV positive reject a Csection? She insisted on having a vaginal delivery! !!! Doesn't such a person understand the implications of her actions. To me, that's sheer wickedness ! She wants to infect an innocent child. He told me so many gory tales of our people and insisted he wouldn't go back because he doesn't want to lose his medical licence yet. However, he had a couple of awesome patients too from Nigeria. Unfortunately, the bad ones outweighed the good ones. So so sad!

Nefetitiram, abeg stop this na! I take God beg you. Haba! Let the girl register for Island Maternity if she's in Lagos where she will get experts help or any good private hospital. What kind of expensive joke is this one? After delivery, let the man go for a DNA sharply! Haba!!!!
