ETC isn't as tedious as getting a Nigerian visa. I sent all I had for visa application but changed my mind and did the ETC.

One may decide to go for another option for baby's return travel. You can use the ETC i.e emergency travel certificate. It's a second option for bringing baby back to Naija if you don't want to apply for Naija visa.
You can do it by self or through an agent.

ETC is $270 plus $20 for regular mail or $30 for priority. For the option of using an agent. You send all the requested documents via email to the agent. But despite your decision is to mail the documents , you still need 2 passport photos, a copy of baby's BC, copies of parents data page, letter of consent from parents, travel itinerary and Money Order for the stated amounts
You may receive the ETC the same day or next .

The consent letter is signed by both parents.

Candid review/ update on the shipper I used, for the benefit of those that asked and TO BE victims. Avoid or better still flee from Mr CJ ,he/ his wife owns an African shop on highway 6 Houston. He is a big fraudulent old man!! Shipped my stuff through him since September and never receive it until two days ago. I found out that he is not a shipper and he did not pay one dollar to the shipper instead he lied to him that we will pay her in Nigeria when we want to pick up our stuff. I had no option than to pay for shipping charges again. I can't wait for my vengeance and it's going to be very chilled.

Lol, I've been in ur shoes. I gave most of them out. And this were even cloths given to us in the US ooo. My sister in law went to load some chinco cloths from ROSS. Infact when I wore one for my baby one day, hubby looked at itandsaid " who gave her this cloth? I said " your sister". I gave some out and wore some for heron those days when it's just. Me and her at home. Trust me ds cloths can also serve their own purpose. And because it's new, it looks good on the first day it's worn.

Please mums and dads, can you donate such things to our organization. We are kick starting an online programme by the end of this month. Donations like this will help those who are in dire need. You can continue with the food like mashed potatoes, mashed beans, cereals and similac advance or you can try Nan or Aptamil . They are equally good as long as your babies are not rejecting them. All the best dear.

For everyone here, please try and buy health insurance, you can get one from NHIS (National Health Insurance Scheme ) for 20,000 naira per annum. Get for yourself, children, parents and siblings and pick any hospital near you. At least, when one is ill, he or she can conveniently enter the hospital for treatment. May help come to us and our loved ones when we need it. Amen
