The other day, one of us was writing to bolt customer care... I'm like. There's no point, they won't listen to you anyway....

When their revenues take a serious hit, I'm sure they will sit tight. You don't tell a blind man it's raining, if he can't see the rain, at least, he can smell or feel it.
Take the case of Uber, can you imagine a whole Uber sending emails to drivers that commission has been reduced to 20%

(there's no company in the world that abruptly changes strategy, especially when it comes to their revenue, ) some months back, with different types of bonus. attached, that shows they really lost drivers to competition...

or maybe he’s preaching bolt to the drivers and they are returning the favour by dashing him 1 star
grin. Whatever, those drivers are not feeling the Bolt gospel, 7trips, he's already at 4.2.
. I suspect the dip in his ratings are as a result of his akagum fares... grin

How can U forget there is a difference between estimate and actual. Has it been that long u stopped driving?
From 18mins to 1 hr 30mins. For a distance less than 10km. That's not d real price..

Do you plan for uneventful traffic. Any driver that was at lekki phase this afternoon can testify to the heavy traffic
It's a learning phase... Prolly, you thought you were the first person to pick that ride. I can bet you, that said rider has been trying to get a ride to remi oluwude for over 20 - 25 mins. and all the experienced drivers around have been bouncing/skipping that particular ride before you picked it.

He's a bolt staff.
The guy has been bidding low fares too. 7 trips only and his ratings already 4.2. That means he has been paying really low fares for his trips....

It wasn't a fastest finger thing. Normally it should be a 20, mins trip. Rider was 200m away from me. Map was showing 18mins to destination.18 mins turned to 1hr 30mins
You don't still get, the fares has been tampered with, how can a trip of 18 mins suddenly turn to close to 1 hr 30mins. for how long... You didn't study it well before picking the trip..

Not a bolt fan boy, but Bolt surely still have its perks. Was surge today at lekki phase 1 cause of heavy traffic. Did a 1300 trip on indriver for close to 1hr 30 mins, quickly switched to bolt...lol. Same trips on bolt was double the price grin grin
Your ordeal is self inflicted (fastest finger), by picking a trip manipulated by the rider. 1hr 30 mins trip can never be ₦1,300 originally from indriver.

Good day everyone please i need your candid advise and opinion

Am about to leave my bank job of seven years with a salary of 100k for a new business note the business has already been set up already

my fears is that am married and you know what that means i have ready responsibilities. so am now having fears that what of it doesn't work (which have been praying about seriously).

probably the fears is just in my head. your opinion please
What's your wife doing? Is she currently working...
You can test waters for 3 months by getting your wife to oversee the bakery for two days ( Tuesday and Thursday). You will run staggered production... For now operate strictly 3 or 4 day week cycle.

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
While you take over weekends ( sat & Sun)

See how it goes for the 3 months, then you decide whether to go full scale.
Target the retail end by getting the retailers to buy directly from you (your bakery) ... ₦100,150,200 ₦500. units of bread move faster... ₦150 and ₦200 especially if you live in a youth dominant environment.

Congrats chief, bread money is daily money..

My friend here in Nigeria applied and got a job offer from a Canadian hospital named Notre Dame Pavillion Hospital with address below:
2075 Avenue Quebec Canada.

She used a Nigerian based agent who linked her to it. Now they are asking her to pay processing fee of 100k. Please can anybody verify if this hospital is for real?

Thanks
It's a big scam. Ever heard of LMIA. labour market impact assessment. The role is either a Nursing position or caregiver. Whichever? You mean they can't find someone in the whole of Quebec to fill that role, the hospital had to jump continents to pick an applicant from west Africa all the way from North America... Common, think about it now. Why do you people like giving these agents free money now.. embarassed.?

BTW, The agent didn't do jack. grin Just uploaded your friend's profile on a foreign jobs website e. g Indeed and quoted a mail, they sent a job invitation to scores of people like her. ...

My brothers that's how my dad linked me up with one of his friend in lagos.
The man said their company "quest global company" located in Lagos is reciuiting, that am to pay 560k for my training after that i will be employed and that there's every tendency for me to be relocated abroad. According to him the company pays in dollars and they will prepare my international passport with part of the money.
Nairalanders have been confused because I don't want to loose any opportunity through ignorance.
If i may has anyone come across the name quest global company??
That's total falsehood. No real company will ask you to pay for anything before employing you. You better don't get ripped off. Common, you should be able to decipher things now,

with the cash crunch in the economy, you still want to be duped of a whooping 560k, this scam is as clear as daylight.... grin think critically now, embarassed how can they relocate you abroad? as per American or British consular or what? They can't even guarantee visa, and they want to relocate you abroad huh

Teaching job of 20k salary 7:30a.m to 4p.m or okada hustle for a bsc holder? which would you recommend?
All contributions will be appreciated please!
If you can afford an Okada. Why not spare 10-15k extra. Add a plastic cubicle, get crash helmet, light boots, reflective jacket and start logistic/delivery.

You will make more money doing delivery /logistics than Okada. You will even get the much needed connect to land the corporate job you want. You will be the one running from orders....

Leave teaching and start the delivery /logistics asap.

Or make kidnappers carry de ask for 50M ransom

Too many uncertainties, may Nigeria not happen to you.

Meanwhile that 620k is less than £800, you can make such amount working 20hrs a week for 1month while still studying

Choose wisely my friend!!!
You are more likely to fund the social security structure of the UK without getting returns on your thousands of pounds spent on education.

800 pounds before tax.

How much do you have after tax 800 pounds monthly.?

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 11:15am On Aug 14, 2022
Contest between Bolt and inDriver is as clear as daylight.

To net 80 on Bolt, you need a gross of 108k

To gross same on Indriver, you get a net of 97.7k

Difference is 17.7k. Weekly. Monthly, you are giving Bolt at least 70k of your money with threats included.

These costs creep, so an individual might not be aware. Imagine someone places a debit of 70k monthly lumpsum on your account. I'm sure you would take note of such a person grin

There are a thousand and one lands he can buy with 1.5m. In fact, he can get 2 plots with change left and sell the same plots with profits in a couple of months to less than 2 years if you don't know.
Where in Lagos will he get such land? and how long, you are mentioning 2years.... It's easy to buy land in bushy areas, try selling it after few months..
What will he be doing for those 2 years? You still don't get. You don't use your last card to buy land for speculation purposes , that's not a good move.
