it's a flat rate per month and not per annum . It's a short term loan. So if he is expected to pay N4500 for just N15000 given to him per month ,that should be 30% flat rate .
Wrong. Interest is calculated per annum... Then it's prorated in months or weeks as you prefer. That's how financial institutions calculate rates.. What do you mean by flat rates? There's nothing short - term here, it's daylight robbery, over 500%...

The interest is 30% of 15,000. Which is 4500. 15000+4500=19500
Interest is over 500%

False.. The interest per annum is over 500% and not 30%.

Around 30% intrest.
False.. It's over 500% per annum and it's outrageous. Are there no regulatory authorities for these companies? how can you lend money at over 500% interest rate..

Yes Some factories pay more than 7k per day....

if you add light, water and transportation bills, the Uk still trumps nigeria bruh.

Overall living expenses abroad is over the roof compared to Nigeria.

Finally be informed that finding a job that pays above 15k per anum in the UK is a herculean task.
That's not true. Mention one factory in Nigeria that's pays its casual staff 7k daily..

How many bars did it drop? If you ask me, nothing is wrong with your car... Do you realise fuel dispensed in some filling stations in Lagos burns so fast.. Also, some fuel stations tamper with their dispenser..

Use the fuel till quarter tank. Fill up again using a reputable fuel station.. Then observe again.

Bolt doesn't give a bloody care in the world where you take your car to, as long as their 25% cut is sure. No qualms.

An aggregator/ Bolt lures in 1000 vehicles, they pull in ₦20m.
Aggregator takes 5m, and shares the remaining 15m across 1000 vehicles,, assuming they share equally, they take 15k a piece, but it's not always the case.

In the long run, Bolt still wins, they understand the dynamics of the racket, the moment active cars starts dipping (pulling out to pursue better things)
on the platform, ever heard of a mob boss that cleans up a ragtag demolition unit after they outlive their usefulness , they launch emotional marketing campaigns , on Social media platforms ( Facebook. Twitter, Instagram), then you find cliches like " Make 350k monthly," Earn money at your convenience" bla bla bla sign up" and the cycle starts again.
that's why they will NEVER put vehicles on the road.
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 4:39pm On Sep 29, 2022
How many years will it take to recoup 5m naira.?
35k weekly. ....it will take 143 weeks to get 5m. 2 years and 9months.

There is no driver that can drive for 143 weeks non stop. It's impossible. Something has to give in, : either the car or the body.

Now if he gets the capital @ ₦3.5m to be used in buying a corrolla and he sits down and hibernates properly.
He stands a better chance of hitting 5m in 143 weeks doing business than running around Lagos like a rabbit with Bolt.

I was at onipanu when this girl ordered a ride from Yaba, on Indriver.. Got there before the time elapsed. Called her 7 times she didn't pick. There was also no place to park at the PU. I moved to the other side to find a place to park. Called her again, she didn't pick. I tried to cancel but Indriver said I've moved from PU. I just left it like that and started using bolt. Its bn like that since afternoon.
Cancel n forfeit your commission, indriver has 2 pages, one for rider, one for the driver, the rider in question has canceled since.. But it won't change your own page... or take you back to the request page.

3084 ÷8000 * 100= 38.5%

Just because Bolt brought a rider, you want 38.5% commission.....
They will come and say commission is still 20%. They went and mischievously tweaked the booking fee, so that when you look at the breakdown, it still looks like 20%.

I knew it would get to this........... I fully understand what Bolt is trying to do... cool

Quick one;
You're on motion and all of a sudden, your car no gree enter gear again and your RPM just dey rise up dey go while your speedometer no gree align with the motion:
1) what should the driver do at that moment?
2) what causes regular occurrence of such?
3) what solution does it require?

Cc; pearl1910 and dem legends in here.

Much respect, bosses.
2. If the rpm goes up on its own revving, higher, it's probably the throttle cable that's packing up.

3. Park safely off the road, get a mech to check the throttle cable and change it.

Alexxx2000:
It's a long story but I will try to abridge it.

My mom raised I and my brother of 5yrs old single-handedly. There's a separation in the family so we're shuffling the deck. She's an hairstylist with meagre wages.

My dad was never part of the family. They both separated because of infidelity and harsh treatment. Since then, my dad, I guess erased our memories from his life.

I must confess, she's trying but the bills is weighing her down. My little brother was to start school last year but we couldn't pay for fees but after saving, we decided to put him in a cheap school close to the house.

Now, my mom want to stop us from bearing my father's name. She mandated me to change mine as well to her own dad's name.

Yesterday when I returned from the Pos attendant job I do, she brought the topic again and she said, nothing is holding her back on her decision.

Is she right for taking such decision? What will you advise me to do please?
Don't join issues with your parents.. The issues are between them, husband and wife.
Be diplomatic, there are benefits (not material now) you will get from your father, that you won't get from your mother and vice - versa. The Sun has its glory, the moon also its glory, the stars too likewise..

Build your own circle of clients. That's the way to make money in Abuja. It might take like 3 months. But in the long run, it will pay off. There will be days in some weeks you will be reluctant to open the app, because you have been booked..... Some tips, let me know..

Why can't they give local contractors the job instead of the Chinese?
Most local contractors don't deliver, they don't honour agreements. A typical scenario is your everyday artisan.

What do you think?.. I took a man once. and he told me there was a particular guy he helped, bought a Sienna for.. He said the guy came and wanted to bring guarantors and all that. He simply told him, "look , I don't have any business with you, you deal with my lawyer,, you drop money weekly into his account, when you pay up,we transfer ownership" .. Just the exact amount the car was worth.
Fortunately, the guy paid up. So to the guy it still HP, abi?

The question is, where can anyone get a loan? Especially one who is not a salary earner.
Try to join a cooperative if you need a loan. Build up for six months, then you can apply...
BTW, I don't advice you take a loan to buy a car for this hustle, if you expect to pay back the loan from the proceeds of ehailing.

The best route is to look for rentals not even HP. Look for rental first....

No pressure. I mean, can ehailing be as smooth as this? If you are doing this thing part time, you would really love indriver. You could just be shuttling within one axis and your 5k for the day is set.
