My 2 cents.
You mentioned contract of 4.6m and you needed 2m naira to execute. Meaning you have like a net of 2m.
Isn't there some form of mobilisation in funds to start up like 30-40%.
Are you sure its scam free and you have Legit contract papers with TERMS AND Conditions in black n white. cos from ur discuss, its not FG,
You would find it hard to get someone who will give you 2m like that.
My advice: look for someone whose company will get the contract, he bankrolls and when he gets paid, you get a cut of the profit.
These r d initial sacrifices you need to make to CUT ur teeth in the contracting RACKET in Nigeria. |

Lift the lockdown and let the citizen observe these roles.
1.Carry out massive sensitization on how to prevent the spread of the virus 2. No shaking of hands 3. No huging of strangers, colleague or friends. Only partners are allowed to hug provided they're healthy and without the virus. 4. Everybody should make use of facemask which will help stop saliva while speaking in public. 5. ndubuis: That's just it. Some folks don't plan, don't save. For the record, I'm doing uber on part time, my uber earnings has been feeding me for the past one year and has taken care of all my bills within the period, while my monthly salary has been swelling like a motherfxxker. That Uber money is what is still taking care of me for nearly two months now that I haven't drove. If this lock down goes on for another two months, that money will be sufficient for me.
Bottom line is, some people don't plan with what they earn. Maybe you all have too many responsibilities that you can handle. Too many responsibilities at once makes you irresponsible because you allowed them to accumulate and overwhelm you. You simply failed to think ahead and plan.
For instance, if you have siblings that you take care of, why do you have to marry without waiting for that responsibility to ease off a little? Why the rush? And quite often, getting married to a woman that won't support you but will further heap all her burden on you plus the ones you already have. Next, you start breading children like a mad man Why won't you go broke in the shortest possible time?
The problem isn't that the job isn't paying but people don't "cut their coats according to their sizes"( don't even know what that adage means but makes sense). At this point, any uber driver that works full time, yet complains of being broke, even if he has a descent job that pays him 250k a month, he's still going to get broke because he has refused to save and plan.
Tell me that the Uber job is stressful, I may agree, but tell me you are broke within a month? Son, you don't know what you are doing. You can say the car isn't yours as the excuse, then quit than being an industry slave. You are right in some things, except the marriage part.one can marry, but put plans for a child on hold. But let's face it, Uber is not a job, it's a stop- gap. For one Uber and Bolt can't let you maximize your tym. For instance, you can't fix n say OK. I will work from 6am to 4pm n go home, cos the market is pretty unpredictable. You end up wasting precious hours waiting for a ride that won't happen. Also, guys who have a steady income job get to cash out over the weekends. Earnings most weekdays are in sharp contrast with the weekends. Reason, the bulk of earnings happen over the weekends. So for guys working( in paid employment), it's a bonus. All in all, it's evident that most guys dt CLAIM dy make 20k daily are all bunch of bloody liars. |

He was very active on Uber as a driver, but his account got deactivated the second time, after a high number of declining requests, and he didn't visit Uber office to sort them out. Now he wants to leave for the UK after this whole pandemic is out. Experts in the house, please do u think he can still drive on Uber when he gets to UK, despite his account bn deactivated here in Nigeria?
Thanks Is Uber the only ehail app in UK? I don't think so, so he shd not worry much. Moreover, there are other cab services apart from uber If he's going to the UK, legit, he wud get @ least a job, so he shdnt worry much, even if Uber is d only app in d whole of UK. Worse case scenario, he gets a survival job for starters, he shd dust himself n stop thinking dt wtout Uber he won't survive. |

You self reason am, am assuming the car is a corolla, maybe bought for 1.8m, plate number, maybe comp insurance, maybe tracker. Am assuming 2m total package, so because you have paid me 100k, about 5% of my COST, you want to hold my keys, remove plate number, remove tyre. All this people giving you this advice wants to render you jobless unknowingly. I don't know d contract you sign but know that the car owner still Remain d owner of his car in nearly 99% of HP agreement until you don PAY finish. I have witness where someone paid 70% of HP agreement and still losses d car due to inability to pay completely. There are some Wicked clause in most agreement. Remember, it was draft by car owner and its always to their advantage. If you try removing anything from that car, God's willing Corona end and you default and he activate one of those wicked clause in ur agreement. Am sure that u know that there are weeks you will Surely default and you will need his help, no sow bad seed Now. My Advice, return his car, it should not be in ur possession this period self, share your honest concern with him, about how d car might be devalue and all that and how this might affect d car you're already paying for. Listen to his responds. If he cares about you and your contract, you will know what to do. I don't think his friend wants to use d car, he just want d car to be in his possession. Do not terminate d contract, things will be a little bit slow, I mean hard after dis Corona period. Hold on to what you've got! Op, follow the advice above, Return the car and wait for the lapse of CoRO. |

Transportation business is a very lucrative business, company like young shall grow, God is good motor etc. Companies like these has been around for years . The owners of these companies master the game, not easy but it is a good cash flow business....
Now property business is a long term investment. It's a business you invest and take your mind off. As business man you need cash flow, you need a business that brings in cash and cash is king.
So if you are not ready to take risk and have a cash flow business, it is better to get a regular job like everybody else and any little money you have u can use it to buy land. And from there you continue doing your office job till you retire ....
But if you dont want to live average, you have to come out of your comfort zone and take risk.... No one is talking about not taking RISK here my friend.
