Umu-Igbo kedu ka unu meli ? |
eyenCalabar: Imagine what contested as the President of Nigeria! Today, Nigeria would have been a weed nation with Tonto Dike as his Vice President. Yoruba property!!!Bros, chill out, biko. Ain't nothing wrong with getting stoned! |
Spiritual healing....pass me the cone,jare. Felaspiritual stonning ! |
odumchi: Daalu so. O buro obele ife lol.Wow,you are good....very good. |
noblezone: Thanks for your concern, but our concern is not about an Igbo party. Not just that; What are the achievements of Ngige as the governor and in the senate. It is very sad to know that the only reason why people are castigating Obi is because Soludo was disqualified. Wasn't he disqualified over a legitimate reson ? How about Obaze and Tony Nnacheta and Obiogbolu who are equally sound and tested technocrats who may even be better than Soludo. Let's be honest, for a second. Given the meagre recourses that is available to Obi,the condition of things in the state before Obi came in, his prudence with funds ,his achievements without borrowing a kobo,if we factor all these in then we must agree that Obi is the most performing governor in Nigeria. |
Nawa ooo ! This will never happen na Ana Okodu. |
Akhenaten: Ogbodo Enyi dancer with participating viewers, Enyigba Izzi, 1983Look at women dancing with masqurade....these people has defiled Igbo culture! |
By the way,I love the way the drummers look...very Igboid and original. Nri di uso. |
Radoillo: Indeed. What the Anioma call Akwa Ocha is a distinctively patterned cloth... not just any white fabric.I guess the Op meant a distinct particular design of Akwaocha which the Enuanis are known for. However,we must not forget the tradition which brought rise to the Akwaocha and the subsequent designs. Anioma ekeneem unu. |
Well, its their tradition but I blame the Obi for all these. I feel very sorrry for the Ebonyi woman and pity the so called queen. There will never be peace in that palace because indoors, the Obi will treat the queen with utmost resentment. Women are something, too. |
Very interesting....but why do they let a woman stand next to a masqurade. Will never happen in Anambra. Infact, its an ABOMINATION! Secondly, why are the masqurades bearers reaveling their skin...This things are against Igbo masquradic rites. This is what happens when you borrow a culture. I hate seeing that. In Anambra,we even have masqurades that a woman must not see; like Ayaka and Ogbo Ito masqurades. |
Akwa ocha is very popular in Anambra, especially, the titled men and women like. It is a symbol of purity and dignity. Most men with the revered Agbalanze title of Nze n' Ozo will wear Akwaocha, women with the Odu title will definitely wear Akwaocha, men of Nze n' Ozo will wear it and a widow during mourning will switch from Akwa ojii to Akwaocha after some months. In most shrines in Igbo land you will likely see the Akwaocha wrapped around the sacred tree. The kings of the Igboland are known for their Akwaocha robe. So,I don't think the Akwaocha is culture is exclusive to Ndi Anioma. Daalu. |
ijaw citizen: Every Ijaw man is a supporter of Biafra, so far its boundaries does not extend to Ijaw land and so far it does not force other Niger Deltan group against their wish.Alh.Harem,you be complete OGBOLO...LOL. You mean to tell me you have really descended to this point ? Devil geh power oooo |
chidindufrank: Forget sectional issue, Coach Godfrey Esu whom guided 3SC shooting Stars to 1997 CAF Champions League final hails from Delta state. The problem of Shooting stars is that they don't pay their players very well and also the team finds it to win a match outside Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasimgba.liberty stadium Ibadan is more like an away ground for them and that's a very bad football culture. Onigbende has a hand in the teams misfortune tooWell, you could be right, afterall. As for Onigbinde, that man need to go sit tha Bleep down. He killed us at 2002 world cup with his tribalism. |
Afam4eva: He should stop running a one man business and open the club up for investors. I actually think we need clubs like that that are privately owned. I also think the name of the club should be changed to "Nnewi FC".Gabriel Chukwuma is impatient and too greedy...some of the players that made Enyimba great were bought from Gabros. Obi is creating the environment for sports advancement but he doesn't believe in government owning club. |
Where is my Jasper United,Udoji united and Gabros of Nnewi.....Anambra wake up ! |
fineheart: Who said it is only Enugu Rangers that have never been relegated before? Heartland of Owerri (right from when they were called Spartans of Owerri to Iwuanyanwu Nationale) have NEVER been relegated before as well.Iwuanyanwu has been relegated before; Rangers remain the only club of the old that has never kissed relegation. As for Sutin stars, they need to stop been so sectional. We have a northerner as enyimba coach and we also have easterners coaching in the north. |
Any link ? |
ezeagu: https://www.earthmetropolis.com/Africa_West_and_South_of_The_Nile/igbo_Ijele.jpgThat is an actual Ijele masqurade and not a mask. |
Onlytruth:Soludo should go and sort himself out before anything. We don't want people with baggage. And by the way,Obaze will always be ahead of Soludo in Apga. Soludo should forget about Anambra,he will never get to the Ziks house. |
Laughing at dreamers and comedians....We got the game in the bag. And why would an Anambra icon go and beg Soludo ? I swear you people underate Obi so much. You are ignorant of the kind of power and influence Obi wields in Nigeria. Soludo look up to Obi and not the other way round. I dare Soludo to speak ill of Obi. Soludo adores Obi and so is Obaze. Obi Achebe holds him in high esteem and so is Okpoko n' Oba,Igwe Iweka,Emeka Anyaoku,Chinua Achebe,Otoko n' Eze Achala, the Aguleri dynasty,Ekwueme and all the Omanbala wise men. Obi is the most powerful politician in the East of the niger. Forget Amechi,he is just a noise maker. No body has the power to stop Obiano but himself. Like I said, the game is in the bag. |
CRAAAAAP!!!!! Show us the pictures! Show us the pictures!! Show us the modafecking pictures!!!! OMG!!!!! Sister don vex
|
Shhhit is soooo funny...thanks for the joke, dear. Both of you must be kids. |
@gbosaa,that little wooden square instrument is the "Okpokolo". |
gbosaa: There are lots of instruments used in this video...16.09..woman at the back with some square wooden board...do you know the name?...16.20..big metal gong..Yes,its EGWU OBI Umuoji....my home town. |
Okpokolo...a smaller type of ekwe but flat. Ekpili...a bigger tupe of ichaka. Example,"egwu ekpili" Ogwe...a kind of ekwe but it makes a different sound and its not placed on the ground like ekwe. Alo...a kind of Ogene but longer like abbout 3ft long. It make an echo kind of sound. I actually think ekwe is the symble of Igbo music,at least from the Anambra perspective. |
Dike Chimezie: On the international stage i'm a loyal Man U Fan.Locally i support Enyimba.I started supporting Enyimba then because of quality they possesed.A team with d likes of Frimpong a Ghanian first team star,Muri Ogunbiyi the then captain of Benin republic and d con3s best player,Vincent Enyeama,Austine Ejide,Mutiu Adegoke d leagues best left back,Yusuf Mohammed,Romanius Orjinta the teams captain b4 Enyeama, represented Nigeria in 2004 nations cup and even featured in SE third place triumph against Mali. His pairing with Obinna Nwaneri is the best Nigerian league can boost of till date. The Likes of Lawal Pele a kaduna based player,a winger of sort to name but a few.Buy d best players across d league ie her acquisition of Chibuzor Ozurumba, the the golden boot winner with either of Insurance or Heartland. If it was then, d likes of Jude Aneke would have ended in Enyimba,so also d current Warri Wolves captain Egekwe. That team was invisible both in d domestic league and in d champions league.Good memories..you are talking about Enyimba of old...David Tyakase,Onyekachi Okonkwo,Muri Ogunbiyi,Ekene Ezenwa,Emeka Ayaya,Ogbonna Okenmiri...The Enyimba that shook Africa to its very root. Talk about the genius combination of Onyekachi Okonkwo's athleticsm and the mad skills from Muri Ogunbiyi in the midfield. These two guys were more dangerous than the Arab terrorist. At the back we had Ajibade Omolade,Obinna Nwaneri,Aliyi Mohammed and Eric Ejioffor. Going forward were the aggressive Ekene Ezenwa, the tricky David Tyakasse and the proriffic Emeka Nwanna and Joetex Frimpong. Enyimba were the lord of African football. The coach was Kadiri Ikhana and later Okey Emordi. Aynansi was the manager and the club was well financed by Orji Uzor Kalu. Enyimba still has the majic but they need to keep their players and finance the team, adequately. I still believe in the Aba millonaires. |
I know him from his time with Masu Ngida(Kano Pillars); A very tricky and deadly goal poacher. Life is worthless. Igwe nine jeko n'uzu.....Rest in peace,Moses. |
Revolva: The igalas have a yorubaiod language and features and now how do they tell if they are not from the yoruba kingdom that moved northwards and also part of the igbos around anambra north especially Aguleiri lga have their traditional diety with the igalas because they share comon border and with time of inter marrying they intergrated to settleYes,Anambra north and Igala has a lot in common but the Aguleri never borrowed culture from the Igala. Actually,it was the Igala that borrowed from the Aguleri and rest of northern Anambra. Traditions like Eke,Oye,Afor and Nkwo was borrowed from Nri.Ogwugwu,Ikenga were also Eri/Nri inventions. Please, endeavour to speak the truth don't feed people with lies. During some of the festivals in Igala you will hear Odeke people chanting..."Odeke Agulu",meaning,Odeke Igala people of Agulu but you can never hear an Aguleri man say "Agulu Odeke". Aguleri is older than Agukwu-Nri,they invented the Ovala/Ofala and doesn't do the Igu-Aro,which is done only by the Eze-Nri. During Eri/Nri migration we had people that stopped over at Igala land and mixed with them and that's how the Igbo culture spread with them. Thanks |
