Afam4eva: There isn't much development in all those little town Op listed like Abraka which is just a site for Delta state university and few tarred roads and fillinng stattion. Infact Umuoji is more developed than Ogwashi,Ibusa and Abraka. The only fully developed towns in Delta are Asaba and Warri. The rest are just emerging towns. However,in Anambra Nkpor,Obosi and Oba has developed on there own with huge tax yielding investments. Hence, they can't be lumped into Onitsha. And for your own safety never you dare reffer to these towns as greater Onitsha because their boy fit hang you oooo! Ekwusikwaa m'. 1 Like |

Do you mean getting drunk or getting "high" as in getting stoned ? Getting high isn't same as getting drunk and the effect aren't the same. I don't drink much anymore but I can still hit the KPOLI once in a while. |

Like I said, why must you people politicize and tribalize every thread ? The President knelt before God and not Adeboye. Call GEJ any name you deem fit but be rest assured that he is under God's protection. All you people can do is keep ranting. 1 Like |

bokohalal: But do you have yam deities, yam legends, yam chieftaincy titles? I wanna know how deep yam culture is in Benin. Like in Anambra,a huge yam barn is an evidence of wealth. A woman doesn't go into a barn and you can't go in there at night. We also have titles given to people for theeir success in yam farming, like Ezeoba, diji, okotalukwe, olua olie. |

bokohalal: Some families lock up the bedroom of a deceased for sometime. It is believed that the deceased needs time to tidy up in private before departing for the other world. There are 'unsubstantiated' cases of people having headaches or having strange feelings when they barge into a just deceased room. We practice this in Idenmili. Infact, there are a lot of similarities between Benin culture and that of Idenmili. Bokohala, talk a bit about marriage rite in Benin. |

Singing Osita Osadebe's "Onu kwuli njo ga ekwu nma". I have said it before and I will keep saying it, Obi is the best performing governor in Nigeria, for the past eight yrs. There has been recorded improvements in all sectors of the state economy. He has holistically worked all sector and is on the brink of achieving the millenium developmental goals. I encourage the flower planter to keep planting, painters keep painting and road sweepers keep sweeping while Omanbala builds the strongest economy in Nigeria. Call Obi names and ridicule him all you want but there is nothing you can do to a person who God has blessed. People talk all the trash they they like during the election but Obi once again put shame in their faces. We know who are the true Omanbalas and their traits puts them off. Op,your observation and extoling of Obi isn't needed. We know where you belong. Go to that Enugu thread and keep praising Chime for his flowering and painting skills. Anambra is where men are born! 7 Likes |
Culture / Re: Why Do Yoruba Guys Marry Igbo Girls? by NRIPRIEST(m): 10:33pm On Dec 23, 2013 |
Ngokafor: Do whatever you like but don't expect me to like it. Look up the divorce rate among the Yoruba. And be ready to welcome illegitimate children very soon. I know what it is; He is nice and has money, right ? And he treats you with so much respect, right ? Have you ever asked him why he didn't marry from the millions of single yoruba women, available ? Do you think yoruba people like you ? Let me spell it clear to you. The sufferings and marginalization of the Igbo in today Nigeria were initiated by the yoruba tribe. Like God told the Israelites,"marry amongst your people to avoid bringing in wicked and ungodly people. Marry a yoruba man and you will bring in snake into the Igbo house. You are a very weak and immoral woman that's why you find love in their hands. |
Culture / Re: Why Do Yoruba Guys Marry Igbo Girls? by NRIPRIEST(m): 3:13am On Dec 23, 2013 |
Just got married to a stunning damsel from my Idenmili town and she calls me "Nnaa". Gives me goose bumps. Now,if you must know I'm both emotionally and morally against any marriage involving Igbo and Yoruba. I believe it is more between yoruba guys and Igbo girls and we all know men are the one that go after women not the other way round. So,I wanna ask yoruba guys this; Is anything wrong with your women ? I heard they all have big a.ss like Omotola and Tolu Oniru but I still can't tell why you still fancy the "bearded","muscular" and "materialistic" Igbo women. Yes,leave those ugly Igbo women the mess alone. Face your women because I believe there are a lot of good qualities in them. I look down on any Igbo woman married to a yoruba man. I actually prefer the non Igbo in Edo,Delta and Ekoi groups. 3 Likes |

Abagworo: Osebuluwa is God the creator of the world.Oselobue and Osanobua might mean thesame.Ose is God while Uwa is world.Orisabruwa is an Imo version. In this case Ose becomes Orisa.Someone from Imo will answer Orisakwe while Anambra is Olisakwe but both are shortened to Osakwe. Dude,Imo never used Orisabruwa until it was introduced by the Onicha/Idenmili axis,as Osebuluwa. Infact, the term got to Imo through the catholic church. The term Osebuluwa is indiginous to Enuani and Onicha/Idenmili. Stop claiming people lects. Just like you once said Onicha are Isu people. You are so pathetic! Be proud of who you are for a minute. Stop attaching your self to Nri/Eri and his decendants. |

When your inanity and mental incapacity is exposed, you all resort to infantile remarks in the hope that your opponent is as emotionally weak as you all are collectively. Well, skunk, you will have to try harder and I sure hope you still have more tricks in that raggedy bag of yours. Are you a woman ? What kind of woman talks like this ?
