And what happen to wande coal and two face that dropped out and their father didn’t beat them? Timaya forsake his mom advice to become a banker and ran to Lagos, you know the rest?

Kanye west forsake his Mom ( who was a senior professor) and left school. Where is he now?

The parent didn’t beat them and yet they succeeded. Life isn’t black and white. When you know your children very well then you would know who to beat and who you won’t.

No wonder Africa has remain like this. With all our legacy look where we are. The father beating his son is not much of a crime but thinking because you paid for him and he is your son makes him a property to you is backward thinking. People with more positive mindset train children because they see it as a responsibility. We over here see it as a choice and the benefactor should see it as their privilege grin

Your son ain’t your property .... you are just his biological father and have a duty to train him! Why? Because you brought him to the society. But that doesn’t give you the authority over his life. The society is placed above you on what and what happens to your son.

Do you have any archeological evidence to backup Oduduwa benin history or benin - relationships with ife not later than 1800 to make it easier......

If you keep on insulting me without giving proves to debunk my claims am sorry your insult wouldn't go anywere....

It just happened that the oba of benin and the Yorubas kings not oba, are playing a political war with this Oduduwa myth, this myth had been in existence amongst the yorubas rulers before the creation of western region, benin coming into the western region was force to identify and have thier own Oduduwa myth just like the other yoruba kings did, the alafin had identify himself as a true Oduduwa son and the ooni as a priest, the muslim yorubas had identify Oduduwa as coming from mecca, the oba if benin had identified Oduduwa as ekaladeran who was banished in the benin old story, this were all done for political superiority.. The oba of benin who was subsequently marginalized by the other
Rulers as not a true yoruba,
The edo had later pulled from the western region This didnt stop the political myth among the oba of benin and the other yoruba rulers,
This new political myth couldn't be checked among the benin people who would have questioned the sudden change of the benin story of ekaladeran to ife and not ughoton as initially was suppose to be... The oba of benin had sovereignty over historian who wanted to write benin history before publication, by that way the truth was not left out uptill date....

This is the politics behind the benin Oduduwa myth, this is not to say there is also no politics behind Oduduwa story amongst the yoruba rulers, if Oduduwa truely exist then it is only indigenous to only the yorubas and is only them that can fiquare out the myth behind Oduduwa existence

HealthRe: Man Carelessly Disposes His COVID-19 Protective Wear After Kyari's Burial by nsiba: 7:00am On Apr 19, 2020
Twinkletwin:
THIS IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE FROM NIGERIA LEADERS.
1- First they broke lockdown rules by flying him from Abuja to Lagos.
2- Then they treated him privately at First Cardiology in Ikoyi despite isolating other positive members of the public in the isolation centre.
3- Then they flew his COVID 19 positive body back to the Federal Capital Territory for burial.
4- Then they released his body for burial contrary to what Lai Mohammed said that COVID 19 dead bodies cannot be released for burial.
5- Then almost 500 – 1000 people gathered for the burial effectively breaking Federal Government rule that not more than 20 or even 50people can gather at a point in time.
6- Then, they dug a shallow grave for the body in the centre of town, Gudu cemetery.
7- And some there neither wore masks or any other PPE especially the gravediggers.
8- A man in Green native without PPE even touched the body whilst helping the workers in PPE.
9- Some workers in PPE were even seen touching their faces and goggles after touching the body with some’s clothes visibly running the dead body under from their PPE as they lowered the body into the shallow grave.
10- And the body was buried in just white traditional robes. No protection nothing for the people, or the environment.
11- No accounting for or planning that everyone at the burial must self isolate for 14 days after the burial.
How is this leading by example? How does a government make the rules and then shamelessly break the rules on National Television for all to see.
Abuja should brace for impact in the next 14days.
Pls somebody should show me where I can do change of country.

Wow! A lot of gibberish nonsense you wrote there!

You're a pathological liar! You don't know any thing. My Tivs and Jukun Nigeria brothers, I'm sorry for dragging you into this mess. He mentioned you first. But once again I apologise.

Below image is a testimony and back up of my claim. The Tivs you're shouting up and down, you don't know their history. You're very far from each other but here you're making a fool out of yourself. There was no documented war between fulani and Tivs before the arrival of British.

I Dont know much about the Jukuns(which I was honest about from the beginning, unlike you huh ) but according to online source, the fulani conquered part of jukun land and installed an emir. This is known fact. You should be ashamed.

Who are the AROS now? Stop mentioning them. They had no military might. We're are talking about conquerors not village invaders. The AROS were never in any war before 19 century.

Stop twisting my word man. According to history, the Tivs and fulani have a fake friendly relationship. They both knew themselves before the arrival of the British. The relationship might have changed since the time British converted all of them to Christian. (The bolded is the only assumption here, the rest of the paragraph is fact.)

I know about the Kanuris repelling the fulani back, because they have fierce warriors with good horseriders. But for the Jukuns, you are not saying the truth. Fulani conquered part of the Jukuns, Jukuns are part of fulani conquest region. They scattered the region and installed emir in some part. (very annoying because you are not honest till I found out)

Who are the AROS? I'm very sure no ARO participated in any war before 19th century. When other tribes are conquering nations, city gates and empire. The AROS are busy invading each other villages. Speak of volume of their modern day characters.

Pls be civilised and stop lying.
.

If you weren't a barbarian you wouldn't have thought of a USELESS EGO TRIPPING topic like this just to message your bruised ego.
Don't get ur hope rising by the useless nonsense you conjure above.
Fake relationship as describe by who? Even other tribes fought of the Fulanis where you claim of conquest and having emirs belonged to smaller ethnic tribe that assimilated the Fulani's not Jukuns
The Tivs and Jukuns before the arrival of the British had already put checks to Fulanis and tribes in Plateau state did same
The Aros would have done same unlike your Illorin ancestors
Now the question is why did you come up with a useless topic as this?

LarryBee1k:
Stop twisting history man. There was no war between them. According to history Hausa/fulani conquered all northern and most of middle belt. So why were they left out?

The Hausa and Tivs have some kinda of fake friendship or relationships which might have changed after they all converted to Christianity.

They was no war between them. No history of war before colonisation. Be guided.

And between. This about igbo people not TIVS.
.

Then the Fulanis never fought the Jukuns, Kanuris shey?
You don't know a dime but you are here making imaginary presumption because of how the Fulanis conquered the yorubas in Illorin.
Be seriously guided if you don't know history.... Stop assuming rubbish, the AROs would have slaughtered your conquerors just like the way the Tivs, Junkuns and Kanuris did to them when they dare to trespass
You know natin ....u think it is only the Yorubas they fought with

LarryBee1k:
IGBOS COULDN'T HAVE SURVIVED THE WAR THAT THE YORUBA PEOPLE FOUGHT WITH THE HAUSAS.

This is not a shot at the Igbo people, but Igbos always make jest of how the Yorubas lost the war (Ilorin) to the Fulani-Hausa. I want to make some clarifications to you all.

The Real Story of the War.

Ilorin city, traditional emirate, and the capital of Kwara state, western Nigeria is located on the Awun River, a minor tributary of the Niger. Founded in the late 18th century by the Yoruba people, it became the capital of a kingdom that was a vassal state of the Oyo empire.

Oyo’s commander at Ilorin, Kakanfo Afonja (Field Marshal), led a rebellion in 1817 that destroyed the unity of the empire. He was aided by Mallam Alimi (a Fulani from Sokoto), Fulani warriors and slaves, and also by Hausa slaves.

Afonja was increasingly dominated by Mallam Alimi, and upon his assassination, Alimi’s son, Abd al-Salam (Abdul Salami) became the emir of Ilorin and pledged allegiance ( c. 1829) to the Sokoto caliphate.

As a Muslim emirate, Ilorin subjugated several towns in Yorubaland and destroyed the Oyo capital, Oyo Ile (Old Oyo, or Katunga), 40 miles (64 km) northwest, in 1837. Abd al-Salam conducted a jihad toward the sea and was only stopped by the Ibadan victory over his cavalrymen at Oshogbo in 1840.

However, the Igbos twisted this history to fit their evil narrations just like they did the CIVIL WAR. They always taunt the Yorubas with it at any given opportunity. So I'm putting out this question, COULD THE IGBOS HAVE SURVIVED THE WAR IF IT WERE THEM VS THE HAUSA/FULANI? We all know the answer is NO... The only reasonable fight in igbo history was the IGBO WOMEN WAR. They have no history of war before 1900s. They don't understand the meaning of war, how it's been played and it consequences, no wonder they lost the Civil War.

This is to correct every Igbo to stop taunting the Yorubas and start appreciating them for stopping the war that could have later consumed them.
.

SHARAP you got no shame, the TIVs dealt with the marauding Hausa Fulani. Not one inch of their territory was lost you are here trying to save your face from a shameful defeat dealt to your ancestors many years ago
