Stargate254: Forensics experts from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations DCI Kenya were invited to Syschelles for conduct a forensic investigation of a mysterious cache of arms that was discovered there.
DCI Kenya is taking the invitation as proof that their forensic expertise have finally come of age to finally begin to have a reputation for expert work. DCI sleuths seems to be on top of their game also did forensic analysis for victims of a certain fire tragedy inTanzania sometime back. |

Just40: you don't have the infrastructure for economic take off
Ghana has already taken off, when will Kenya?
Despite all the 52 times you've taken IMF and WB money
Can Kenya build over 120 irrigation dams?
Can Kenya afford a billion dollars super massive dam? Drowning man clutching on straws ...Kenya's GDP growth rate last year was at a record 7.1. this year we are doing at around 5.6 despite it being an Election year. Talking of Dams Kenya has two main Rivers Tana and Athi On river Tana we have 7 Hydroelectric dams famously known as 7folks. Btw we long transitioned from doing hydro Electric Dams due to flactuating water levels and now are among the biggest Geothermal producers in the world.. we are exporting out expertise to Ethiopia,Tanzania etc. For the arid North we are drilling water from underground aquifers ,and buildings 100s of water pans . Almost all other Major rivers are Damed at one point or even some small rivers like Maragua and Thika

Just40: well, they will usually not come close to what Ghana does.
For instance Ghana Built 120 of them in the north of Ghana for farming communities and has now started a mega one billion dollars dam. If I can get a list of the 120 Dams I will be able to cross-reference. |

Just40: Too tiny
Ghana already has an additional 250MW solar project ongoing in addition to the over 150Mw in operation.
The energy investment I'm talking about is 5 billion dollars 1000mw nuclear energy plant... and between 10 to 13 billion dollars additional thermal energy investment to drive Ghana energy production from the current almost 6,000MW to 10,000Mw by 2027 when Ghana electricity consumption will be 7000mw Where is the nuclear plant?...we also have plans and have already identified site for ours . |

Just40: Kenya project are just situated in Nairobi..
None explains where your govt spent those borrowed money. And most of these things will not be able to repay your debt.
Talking about irrigation dams, Ghana built over 120 of them in Northern Ghana over the last few years....
Now there's a massive one billion dollars irrigation dam construction going on. This is Nairobi for you.

Just40: most of our borrowings has gone to finance major projects ... That cut across all of Ghana.
While your country is now getting a shipyard, we've had one for over 40 years.
Your president has borrowed over 50 billion dollars and 300km SGR is all you can talk about?
Mine is almost done with 1500km
Mine has spent 16 billion dollars building additional 20,000km of roads and about one billion dollars on interchanges.
We have spent 18 billion dollars securing over energy future. Now we have already gotten to the point of spending additional 10 to 15 billion dollars to extend our electricity generation capacity.
5 billion dollars will go to nuclear energy.
What has Kenya done with all it borrowed money? Because 300km of sgr and a few 100km of roads is not enough Laughable...Kenya also has projects across the entire country has actulized project across the entire country . Largest windfarm in Africa,Deepest sea port in Africa,Galana Kulalu Irrigation scheme, expansion of Mwea tebbere irrigation scheme,Thiba Dam,Karemenu Dam, One of the largest solar farms in the region. Just40: Soon after you explain how you've ended up borrowing so much money from the IMF and WB than Ghana will ever borrow.
The Cedi still remains more valuable than the kshs and it will remain so for years to come. Most of what we have borrowed has gone to finance major infrastructural projects that will repay themselves in the long run over 300KM sgr , Lamu PORT,Expansion of Mombasa port , kipevu oil terminal,Damen shipyards ,Dams ,roads etc. What Ghana does with its debt is still a wonder to me considering you have 16 economic bailouts and you are headed to another economic crisis. |

Just40: first of... Get your facts right
Ghana debt to GDP is not 70%
Ghana debt to revenue is 45% as at April
Now what's your next desperate excuse for Kenya 80% debt servicing? Maybe you should start by explaining how comes Ghana has a record 16 IMF bailouts and is still struggling with debt. After redominated your Cedi, why is it loosing its value so fast? |
