Green water navy: These are navies that operate medium (relative) displacement ships and can operate in the deep open waters of the ocean, can project power beyond it's shores but cannot sustain long deployments without support from another navy or port of call. Most African navies fall in this category.
Buschlaid: Yes, I know, it's similar case with Zimbabwe and Angola, maybe other countries too but I haven't yet been interested in them that much. I was able to find decent amount of Angolan military vehicles, but DRC and Zimbabwe are particularly difficult.

Showing the Southies what it actually means to have a Blue Water Navy that can put out to sea, project power to distant lands and achieve national and regional objectives by military diplomacy or force of arms. Not the SAN moribund in port with fancy toys that can't swim. Next on the interim shopping list are Light Frigates, A Flagship and one more LST.

Anyway, Now that DRC has joined the EAC, it's likely that the East African Standby Force may see its first deployment in the near future... Both Kenya and Uganda are eyeing to be the logistical hub/route for DRCs vast mineral resources . I read something about it from this magazine , their sources hinted that the sideline meeting was about peace talks with waring factions in DRC to end the perennial wars once and for all, so that real trade can start happening
