Even the roads around it does not have pedestrian walkway
In a place like Karen there are is no public transport let alone human traffic there are just residential houses whereby you rarely even see you neighbours in months
Even the roads around it does not have pedestrian walkway
Maybe you should first understand that the amount of human and vehicular traffic ,informs the need for pedestrian walkways .The city center has more vehicular and human traffic thus need for pedestrian walkways.
Bicycle lane is different from pedestrian pavement
You still have a long way to go..look at this mess at your best highways .I also noticed you don't have proper pedestrian footbridges let alone walkways
Accra does not want to be a shithole like Nairobi, so last 2 years, it started covering the gutters on it streets that had open gutters. As well as providing pavement for streets that needed pavement for pedestrians but didn't have.
I don't see any pedestrian walkway on your photo.all I see is concrete blocks placed on top of the drainage channel.
Lurker4Long: I don't understand people who continue spreading this fake photo. In 1973 Putin was a 20 year old university student. He was never involved in African struggles. That is not Mnangagwa in that picture.
The photo is not "fake" as you claim..however, we can dispute the exact dates when the photo was taken ,there are some claims it was in the 80s either in Tanzania or East germany
jl115: Yes heart shots from a 7.62 definitely win wars
This is what I mean (War of information and perception) However controls the information and perception will have an edge ...we are in the era of 5th gen warfare.
Fidha254: He (Putin) has been planing this for a while, he must have gone through all alternate scenarios of retaliation from the west. He definitely went through all worst case scenarios and planned contingencies for all of them, so it's probable he is holding back the advanced equipment for someone more equal. From Russia's perspective, and the way they executed the operation so quickly, they predicted that taking Ukraine was easy probably within a week or two max with little resistance after dismantling Ukraine's air defence capability.
So it's not impossible to think that Russia is holding back the good stuff for a scenario were a stronger adversary decides to intervine. One thing I can say is Putin is definitely holding back.
As of now I don't think an all out offensive will result to any strategic gain... I guess he thought the operation would go like the one in 2014 (cremia )where soldiers would just lay down their arms.
jl115: yes I saw the Ukrainian defence force shared a video of a flight simulator on their twitter just now.....imo I think its just an urban legend, however I don't think it was intentionally created though
Just40: in urban planning, we call this good suburban development.. Which is a great thing if you have the resources to provide amenities, like in the case of Ghana, US and co. It represents the power of the middle class
You can't understand what am taking about since you don't have a background in Architecture and urban planning .
Just30: The sheer size of real estate going up in these areas alone gives me hope for many Ghanaians because I can see how wealthy people have become... Places accounting for Ghana 12.5 million metric tonnes of cement, just 30km outside Accra. Almost fully developed
The most sort after real estate are residential units and they brings to mind Summerlin in Las Vegas, California and Florida kind of mansions.
How are you doing that when your urbanization rate is still at 27%? Why will you leave your entire class of citizens to live in villages with no jobs, no economic avenues and no development?
Most people in the village tend to engage in Agri business suchs , Dairy farming,Tea farming etc which are far more sustainable compared to moving to the City.
gallivant: He basically posted one road. All that noise for a single interchange. In there defense though Tanzania has only one flyover in the whole country.
According to emporis . ..Accra has 29 buildings with 1 under construction. That's why they make the most noise here since they have nothing to show.
