All I would say is:

Forget all the hype here of 'professionals' on this forum that do PPI (all na wash). In the end, you may be in a far better position to make a more informed decision on the purchase of your vehicles. Do your research!

Please always do due diligence and be well informed of the quirks and likely problems your proposed car might have when purchasing your intended vehicle. It is your money!

Please make out time for yourself! Be there physically, whether you employ the services of a PPI specialist or not! If he/she declines, walk away! In the end that time(and money) you are trying to save , you will spend both that time and money in all mechanic workshops you can think of!

Finally, Please take your time and be patient!(this has always been my weakpoint). That good ride will surely come!

As for me, It is well. It is not everything you need to raise dust for.

my advice is to keep on driving the vehicle like that and wait it out till the replacement gear price comes down or rebuilding parts and technical know how are available at your disposal

Has multiple electric issues, rear camber issues, ECU issues, bleeping radio issues, interference engine issues, the only thing really good about it is the fuel economy. Don't forget the signal indicator issues, name it, you got it booku booku...

The c klasse is a solid car but has peculiar issues with the saddle fuel tank.... It is a simple problem though.

I didn't have those issues in my 206, maybe you bought a lemon Aloku car, don't vent your frustrations on Peugeot, they are not the cause of next level grin

The Benz is a tank on road.

The 206 though miniature is a solid car, can't seat 3 adults at the rear comfortably, good on gas around 4 to 5L/100km, doesn't have electrical issues like 406, parts are cheaper than the Benz and are original and strong.
206 blends well on the road and a Visa through every checkpoint of any paramilitary in Nigeria.

Your choice should depend on what interior volume you need, though the 206 has very ample room in the front.

That Elantra is a strong car in it's class, has 1.6L and 2.0L that can rival the Corolla in fuel economy. Resale value and ruggedity the Corolla has an edge.

The Elantra is not a robber magnet though and is more recent in years. so factor in the points I made to pick your choice.

If Uber accepts CUV and you earn more 12L per 100km worth of money. With Lagos traffic just budget around 15L/100km a Civic would do same with 8L, I think you are better off with a Civic except a special provision or earning is available for Element

Fluid was replaced and filter was washed. The symptoms still persist( but reduced)

This is sad.

Rebuild transmission would be cheaper, check if Radautoworks can do the job, but you still need a high-end scanner to pin point faulty component in transmission.

I don't know what engine your GS is packing whether 3GR-FE or 3GR-FSE.

If you fuel economy Camry 4.cylinder should be your target, all the vehicle Camry V6, ES350 and GS have close identical fuel economy

The RX330 is a CUV, has ground clearance as an advantage out of the vehicles in your list.

I don't know what year the GS is but if it's the 06 upwards it has a more luxurious finish and fitting than the ES350 and V6 camry

Honda Element = CRV so buy it if you are comfortable with it's seating and cargo hauling ability.

Nah my landlord make me fear this ML back then in Abeokuta when I was schooling. Guyman sold land and bought the car tokunbo, he didn't use it for 6months before the thing packup.

Come to think of it, he also used an 04 primera for sometime too before that one too packup. Is now it occured to me the guy maybe loose on his maintenance of cars.
