You can't repaint the plates because you are denying the government agency responsible from raking in revenue from low quality plate number

Also you are not allowed to protect the plates with any covering so it can fade easily for you to request for another unit. So cooperate with government, they need to generate revenue thanks.

NB: The year of the fairly tyre is 2021 and it looks really good (almost new).


My question is: Is it worth it to buy brand new tyres and are these fairly used tyres not a risk,?

Tokunbo tyres are okay especially that your year you have just ensure it isn't winter tyres.

Yes the issue with honda new mount is they always fail, it is always recommended to buy tokunbo mounts for Honda vehicles

The new oil {Mobil 2000 5litres) I changed to last week Sunday before traveling from akure to Osogbo, though the car has been used for errands everyday from morning till night since I got to Osogbo. On checking the oil this morning it is now at the middle gauge . Just got to middle. I’m confused and scared at same time. 2 different engineers have checked now and said no single leakage that my engine is in perfect condition.. You have not done the oil burn test. Start the car, while someone depresses the throttle and keeps the rpm at 3 to 4000, another person checks the exhaust for fumes. If fume is notice, then the engine is burning oil due to wear and tear. Only noticeable at high speeds. If you notice such

1. Owner will have to change to thicker oil of 20W50

2. Work on the engine by changing piston rings, rebore the cylinder walls and even getting bigger pistons etc. The technician will put you through this.

3. Buy another engine with low mileage

The fuel level sender is affected by gravity so not the basis for calculating fuel economy. As your vehicle get inclined the fuel sender won't show true value. If you have been driving for years you will notice anomalies of reserve light coming on then going off, fuel guage increasing then decrease depending on angle of inclination.

For a true picture buy full tank, drive a certain distance then go to filling station and buy full tank then note down how much fuel the tank took against distance travelled, 3 instances of this will give you an idea of your mpg.

Catalyst is not about fuel economy but converting harmful gases to mild gases before been pushed out from the exhaust, to even increase good mpg people remove catalyst and weld straight pipe to increase back push.

But you see those A/F sensor and O2 sensor bolted on the exhaust path, if they are faulty, your vehicle go dey drink fuel like hippopotamus. The dreaded P1157, P0141, P0300 to P0304 random cylinder misfire etc.

You may still be getting good mpg in city if you have a light foot but highway anything from 3rpm upwards your fuel go dey fly fly.

The rewire checked both. The one inside the bonnet and driver side but said nothing went wrong there

Fuse 11 with 15A rating and Fuse 39 with 10A rating have been found to be the culprit, it those are okay, then the turn signal stalk is the next point of check. Also check the rear defroster if it is functioning

But from your description, some other accessories also failed which points to blown fuse.

People in your shoes found out that the problem kept occurring after fixing due to a failed reverse switch which causes blow out of the fuse.

Car type and model year.

It could be fuse or relay, it could come from the bonnet or under driver side. But with type of vehicle we can determine what controls what.

Check your engine for external leakage

Check for internal leakage by keeping foot on accelerator and RPM at 3000 then check the exhaust if you notice smoke.

You said 5L burnt every 2500miles I believe you mean low oil guage every 2500miles?

The Aveo has been reliable as my sister has been using hers more than a year and gives it to kazeem to fix for her and he does a pretty good job at it.

But I don't like the car, it is extremely bland, feels underpowered too and it is not a vehicle for water/flood prone areas. Do not wade in water half inch of the tire, your engine may get hydro locked or gulp in water enough to stall it. The air intake was placed directly over the front passenger tire a very crazy nOt crazy but devilish design

I recently replaced the Brainbox of my 2005 Honda Accord. When I went to pick it up, I noticed it was consuming very large amount of fuel. And also sometimes I have to pull the gear shifter way down and back to drive before it gets moving.

My rewire said it was the raising sensor (something about it not raising pass level 3). We bought it and when he tried fixing it, he said it didn't work. So he returned it and collected back the cash.

He is now saying we need to buy the full package of 18k for it to work. Please I need your advice. I don't want to waste money on something that might not work. Mainly this is the first time I am hearing something called raising sensor. I have heard about 02 sensor or are they the same?

Acura CSX would have fit perfectly only it is an ultimate search.

Cars are now expensive sha may be an Elantra isn't bad though only that those GDI engines buy since nah 2years you are willing to use then I believe you can buy a high trim with leather.

There is no camry spider 2014. The camry called spyder ran from 07 to 2011.

1. Tell us the year of camry you are using

2. Tell us what engine your vehicle is carrying.

3. If you dont have those info, snap the car and engine , upload and we can advice you.

I have Mazda Premacy Year 2000 model that has worked over two years. A rugged car it is for pulling through mud and rough roads.
Days ago, the front wheels stopped on motion and tyre skid like I applied brake suddenly. Once I stopped, it begins to move normally. At first, my mechanic said it was brake pad which we check and nothing seems wrong. We suspected caliper but its intact.
I was lucky this happen while driving at 30km/hr.
Please what do you suspect because mechanic said I should drive it and let him know if it continues?

That's brake binding. If it's only one tyre that is binding, mechanic should loosen the setup and check for corrosion is springs, pins, caliper etc and change the rusted component of the brake setup

You can't get a seller because all those high tech vehicle stealing don't exist in Nigeria or aren't even rampant yet.

Those expensive cars are stolen at gun point also people using those cars have a wall of security that isn't ordinary to by pass except the assailant is armed
