Please i have been using Honda Engine Oil 5W-30 for my car and which has been working very fine altoght after 5000Km it short a little.

The last time i serviced, the oil was not available so i used Hardex 5W-30, i noticed i hvae not gotten to 1500km and the oil has so short is at the middle of the dip stick which is very unsual. The car is not smoking.

What could be wrong?

Is the oil bad or not fit for the car..

Any recommendations please

Oga Nurey could you please suggest to me alternatives to a Toyota RAV4 that’ll be equally reliable or close enough with good fuel economy, low maintenance cost and availability of parts. The 2018 RAV4 is just too pricey. 2017 Honda CRV is much cheaper and closer to my budget but the reviews about CVTs and then the complaints relating to their small 1.5l turbo engine are quite worrisome. Otherwise, the Honda fits almost perfectly to what I need which is great interior, great look, great gas mileage, nice features and from a popular brand known for reliability! What do you think sir?

PO451 your evap cannister check the cable or if the cannister itself is intact.
PO452 solving 0451 will clear this one.

PO135 02 sensor bank 1 that oxygen sensor you see when you open the bonnet of the vehicle

P2185 engine coolant temp sensor. You mechanic has by pass your thermostat and run fan direct.

But you’re always giving solution on here na, thought you should know.
You don’t have to open the engine, just remove the fan belt and power steering pump to access the timing belt cover, then open a portion of the timing belt cover (the upper camshaft one) where you can see the camshaft pulley and a portion of the belt.
You then have someone else go down and turn the crank shaft while you inspect the belt for cracks or breaks as the person turns it. You can see both the bottom part of the belt and upper part
This is for Honda v6 engine sha, I do not know how it works on the 4 plugs, but should be similar.
Then again it depends on if the seller will allow you to open up the car.
It’s the kind of inspection that’s usually done after buying.

I think the size and interior is perfect.

However I have some concerns , as I saw some reviews on its double clutch transmission having delays (or something like that )sometimes.

I would like to find out if it’s really a common problem. I would also like to know if there is a fix . I would also like a general review on the model.

And if review is negative , please help with perhaps better recommendations?
I considered the 2015 Santa Fe, but i think it’s much too big in size for me. The 2014 rav4 came up but it’s pricier and bland on the interior side. The 2015 Nissan qashquai came up, but people said Nissan was not good enough . Please help.

Subaru make really rugged cars and SUVs that are pitch perfect for our Nigeria roads such as the Forester, Outback and Impreza. But I’m quite surprised that they’ve not been able to make its way into the Nigerian market. I mean for a car brand that prides itself on building products for difficult driving terrains, they should be everywhere on our roads considering we have some of the worst roads for cars anywhere in the world! Why have Nigerians not accepted Subaru yet? Is it that they’re very unreliable? Do they have engine or electrical problems? Or it’s just a case of limited knowledge about the brand?

I’m presently on the lookout for a new compact/midsize SUV and I have been doing a lot of research on some of the best and affordable ones out there and I find the 2019 Subaru Forester quite interesting and impressive. Toyotas (RAV4 and Highlander) and Lexus of similar age, specs and features are just too pricey and that’s why I’m looking at cheaper alternatives.

So auto experts in the house, mechanics and car users and enthusiasts in the house, can you please drop your 2 cents on this matter? What is wrong with the Subaru?

P0303 - cylinder 3 misfire

P2185 - engine coolant temperature sensor faulty or your fan connection and thermostat have been tampered with.

P0135 - oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1 check wiring and general condition. If not solve, replace it.

P0301 - cylinder 1 misfire

P0304 - cylinder 4 misfire

P0300 - random multiple misfires caused because you have misfire in cylinder 1,3 and 4

It's the same state deal.

Someone I know is about to sell his car and wants to remove his plate number instantly. Can the new buyer drive the car to his own place without a plate number?

Proof of purchase and change of ownership letter would be given to the new buyer though.

Thanks for ur response... Actually I bought 2 original plug 3500 x2 ... At first due tro low funds, but instead of me to see results or changes it seems to be worse, asin engine brink frequently, in less than 2mins drive, besides dey pervious plug was confirmed by my mechanic that they're all Good, ..... Which got me more confused, first I was suspecting coil, that's after I experience overheating, which resulted to 3 coil of my burnt, so I managed to but 3coil...then

Pls I need solution and help on my Honda Civic 06 American spec

I bought a new engine a month ago.... I notice if I drove my Car for few mins or accelerates , they engine light we start blinking which will result to my car movement slow each times it comes up... So I took they car to my electrical, lastweek scanned it, which it show's 1, 3 and 4 cylinder error.. I was told to buy new plug which, I did and it seems to be worst, so I have to changed back to they tok plug they engine comes with... So I took they car to mechanic which he confirm that my 4 coil and plug are all Good...!! But I can't enjoy a smooth drive


Pls right now I'm really worried... !! Any suggestion or something else to looking into ... And does this issue has anything to do all with my bainbox
