You wan use ft kill person, focus on meter. Carry tape rule and measure the glass and your car, see if the measurement is close.

Worse case put the glass on the car roof and tie it down with rope, pad the roof and glass with cloth or soft foam but avoid VIO and FRSC route cause they are thieves in uniform.

I am having an issue with my charging system. My battery does go beyond 12.70 when car is on, thus I think the alternator is not charging the battery but when I put on Acc and head light , it begins to charge . The multimeter reads 13-14 but when I off the loads, it reduces to 12.6. Sometimes the car just don’t start again. What can be the issue pls. Rewire tested alternator to be okay and battery isn’t up to 1 year. Thanks

Let the rewire test the alternator, it may have partial contact or not too good again

The orange coloured bottle with green color coolant has been in existence since ages. They made improvement by bringing out coolant HTX or something like that.

Buy the pink type one with white plastic container cause of the type of vehicle you drive.

Total coolant is okay, if you can afford the pink color better than the green color

First find a technician that can scan the transmission the codes will let you know whether repair is possible or total replacement.

If its accord 1998 to 2007 don't disturb yourself, buy tokunbo gear, you have slacked on maintenance and damaged the transmission

I have this mirror somewhere and i was told to come and carry it because the person on whose care it was is no longer there. The mirror is about 3.5by5.5 feets.

Can Honda Accord carry it? And how? I don’t want go there to carry it and find out it won’t enter. There is no way i can drop it there again.

If your rear seats can recline, it will fit in. Just insert the mirror through the boot while the seats are reclined.

I'm about this buy a car. Noticed a few things.

1. The steering isnt smooth enough. Has a stiff turn. I won't enjoy driving it this way atall. I'm used to light steering and easy turning of the wheel.

2. The AC really pulls at the engine especially when moving from a stop.

This is a Honda Accord 2009.

I understand I'm buying a Nigerian used car and it won't be nearly 100% perfect. But are this things fixable and not cause regret if I proceed further to purchase the car.

Also noticed the vehicle paper has expired way back in 2016 (same time the custom duty was done). According to the dealer, the person has been using the car in the core north (where all this uniform people don't trouble them) so didn't see need to renew the vehicle papers. What do you think ?

1. The steering assembly is faulty you will need to inspect find the culprit and fix

2. The compressor in the vehicle may be the manual type

3. If nah lagos plate you will pay for those years you didn't renew so put in mind to get a new plate in ur name.

Above all your mechanic should tell you cost to fix all the problems you see and advice you accordingly on a fair price to pay for the vehicle

my mechanic cut my abs cable my mistake. My abs light came on. After I bought Chinese abs replacement the abs light when off. But right now the brake pedal vibrate one kind at times when you step on it. I have bleed the brake several time, even replace hydraulic fluid, yesterday i did another complete flash with a more expensive colored hydraulic fluid still didn’t work.could this be the abs?

Vibration and force feedback from pedal when brake is applied means you need new brake rotors.

there is an issue with your DC-DC not working properly on your dashboard do you notice any red battery light?get a multimeter confirm the 12v battery if it is charging properly.

Hello house please I don’t know what’s wrong with my car 06 Honda civic hybrid, I was driving and I noticed the steering became quite stiff and eventually the dashboard lights started getting dim before the car finally stopped, i had to jumpstart it to be able to drive it home, while driving home I had to maintain constant speed b/c anytime I slow down the car start doing as if it wants to shut down again. My mechanic has been on it for two days now, he said he still doesn’t know what’s wrong? Anyone with experience with these kind of things?

The major problem with the camry is it can be stolen whole. As in you will park and within 10mins or less it would be driven away whole because it doesn't have a smart key. It is the No 1 thief magnet followed by uber corolla.
Then suspension wahala in bad roads, toyota is master of that as most part you will see are tokunbo in its last leg or low quality new parts from china.

The accord is good but requires more maintenance and care than the camry, you should change transmission fluid every 2years atmost Forsythe accord and yes the transmission is not as solid as the camry but the 05/06/07 accord transmission is better than that of the 03 and 04. The 4cylinder in the accord is one of the strongest engine you can have in a car and the parts are cheap. It is also bullet proof like mad. For me just focus on the shaft of the accord, nah that one can fall your hand but my 6years of owning a 06 accord I never had shaft issues. Other issues are minor

Earlier this year, i managed to buy my first ever car after saving up so much money for it. Unfortunately for me i made some very terrible mistake trusting my car dealer which has caused me so much pain and saddness.

Because i was travelling alot during that period, and there were a few upgrades and work to be done on the car, i left my car with the car dealer i bought the car from at his personal home residence, pending when i come back from my trip i would move the car to abuja where i was relocating to.

unfortunately for me, immediately i got back to lagos, i tried reaching the car dealer so i would come over to house to check the upgrades done on the car and then finalize plans of moving the car to abuja... only for his number to be completly unreacheable. After about a week, i was able to get through to him and he claimed he was arrested for unknowlingly buying a stolen car. and that the police took all the car in his possession while arresting him . i was already working around how i can get a lawyer to go claim my car when we discovered that the car was not actually taken by any police, but rather it was taken by a creditor that the dealer was owing some large amount of money.

what is the best possible way to retrieve the car, as i had not yet registered the car in my name and the car documents are in the car?

is it possible to check if a car has been registered and the registration details using the chassis / vin number?

the matter has been reported to the police since and they are still trying to track him down cos he has been on the run ?

My 08 Accord kind of want to swerve off road if I brake @120km or above, if I try to slow down with brake it forcefully turn my steering making the car moving like it wants to leave the road. So if I’m @120 speed or above I will have to release the throttle then when the speeds drops to 100 I will then apply brake very slowly

I experienced this the very first time I traveled interstate with the car. And that was the only time I have traveled interstate with the car since I bought it

The only notable things I did to the car when I bought it are
1, change driver side shaft
2, change both ball joint
3, change tire from 225/50 R17 to 225/55 R17 for front and 235/55 R17 for back
4, raised the car with one black rubber

The mechanic said he will use one black rubber that will be added to the shock absorbers to raise it a little , after raising with that rubber a friend warned me that I won’t be able to travel with it because that rubber always have a bad effect when you are on high speed but he said I won’t notice anything if I’m driving around town. Now I don’t know if it’s the rubber or something else

The way it swerve is really scary especially when I am beside a trailer and I want to quickly slow down to let it go
