The funny thing is that you are still not correct though, no offence. Lexus ES is samething as the Camry of that year from 1990 ES up to 2012 ES. ES just share more parts with a V6 camry exactly the same thing.
Engine, shocks, spring, transmission, shaft, bearing, compressor etc. So no special ES parts except for interior

It is a good, strong and reliable vehicle. Parts are available and affordable.

But in would advice against buying big engine cars due to increasing prices of fuel. Buy something less bulky with smaller engine.
Rav4, CRV, HRV, sportage,Tucson, Xtrail etc,

I4 for fuel economy

V6 for power.

I would prefer a V6 though because of the know issues associated the the 2azfe engine offered in the 4 cylinder. Besides the Rav 4 isn't that heavy so the V6 fuel economy would still be pocket friendly.

Honda city is pure CVT fluid is honda genuine CVTF not DW1

Honda city uses honda CVT transmission and the recommended oil is Honda genuine CVTf.

If you like buy original honda ATF you will damage that gear.

CvT I'd not as forgiving as conventional auto transmission.

Change fluid first, check the drive condition if bad scan first if no code, you have successfully damaged the CVT transmission buy a replacement

Fuel economy is superb and convenient use to do 20L from Lagos to Ondo when fuel was 14x

Small fuel tank around 40L, 1k fuel would make you happy sef cause guage would always jump up.

The greatest con why i hate the vehicle is because of its red and blue temp guage (bought new in naija) units. If the car overheat, you wont know on time and engine must get damaged. Engine is expensive sha. If I wan buy again nah direct US market variant I go buy.

The manual sweet to drive but for long distance 500km plus for a tall person manual is a no no because you will have paja paja (numbing of the left leg) because of the shikini interior space

Have you check whether radiator is blocked?

Have you replaced the thermostat, the current one may be stucked closed

CE, LE and sport have minute differences in 03 to 07 nah 08 trim difference dey.

CE is kpangolo edition manual windows,

LE sometimes has 6 CD changer with auto windows and minor wood grain.

Sport just added outward appeal to the vehicle it doesn't mean it is faster than CE or LE

When you pay a mechanic to replace a worn out part eg wheel hub bearing etc of your vehicle, do you leave the worn out part with the mechanic or go with it.

You must sight the replaced part when bought new. Then, decision to take the worn out part is left for you. I normally drop some so they can sell and get extra change. I patronize kazeem 100%

You keep talking about korope, I am not on about that. Besides Hiace, hilux full UAE and Dubai and them plenty for south Africa and available in LHD.

I am talking of regular cars, if it was that easy we should be seeing more of Corolla Altis, Asia camry, Toyota crown which are far better than their NA counterparts in terms of luxury, accessories and build quality.

How many regular cars do you see shipped from Asia? Look at all the Corolla, civic, hyundai accent, kia Rio benz driven on the street, how many are from Asia?

Just as we ship less trucks from NA rather trucks come more from European nations.

They should technically be the same thing

Japanese manufactured should only have minor outward look like bonnet mirror, sport tail and minor interior decor.

Japanese own would be more expensive because of distance of Asia to Africa and we dont ship things on a regular from there

Buying a new Maf and 02 sensor this morning, the relearn is it the normal "start with all loads off and idle till the fans circle once" or another?

Check Google for the procedure. I am not to conversant with it.

Change maf sensor

Clean or change the air filter

Do a relearn for the system

Fix the disconnected sensor

Then check condition of vehicle and scan also b4 touching injector and other sensitive sensors
