I started learning some ecu courses on line,I will be doing it part time

Ecu learning is not a big deal, any technician in the radio department or laptop can fix it. But the issue is with parts and viability of the business. ECU is board with ICs and necessary components like heatsinks, diodes, resistors etc.

What I noticed is our technicians are now lazy they don't study the boards like before and trace circuits like those I know 20 years ago. Now nah to replace bad circuit nobody get time to do hard work and hard work used to pay back then.

GS300 is a 3.0L V6
GS350 is a 3.5L V6
GS430 is a 4.3L V8

The cheapest engine is the 3.0L then the 4.3L the 3.5L is extremely expensive engine to replace.

The GS parts are expensive, I won't say it's an overly expensive car to maintain because it is reliable and parts dont break often but prices of it's part are expensive in the market compared to other identical offering

For your second question its possible the airbag would deploy but let's pray it wont come to that

Some deleting and corner cutting but interior was done well, airbags sensor replaced, chassis okay because no wobbling or premature tyre wear.

I will give the panel 60% because I can tell from afar the car don kiss something at the rear

I'm travelling with my sedan (V6) too.. the journey shouldn't be more than 7 hours (bar police checkpoint delays).

Lagos to Benin is 4 hours or less.. Benin to Onitsha is around less than 2 hours.. Onitsha to Owerri is 30 mins.

Lagos to Benin cannot be achieved in 4 hours if you have police escort with you sef. The checkpoint alone are as many as God's gift and you forgot to add the traffic at each checkpoint which are as long as moses staff except you intend to drive against traffic and offcourse you may not eventually get to your destination because trailer drivers don't pity one way travellers

Thanks I have gotten the correction already the mistake I made was to use manufactured date of Nov 2006 for a V36. There are two types of G35 one is a V35 the other is a V36.

V35 was 03 to 06

V36 was 07 and 08.

I said Ex shares part with a V36 but mistakenly started the model year from 06.

The passat beats the accord all the way its premium to premium and more premium but reliability, ease of use even resale value, the Accord is far better.

The passat has luxury going for it but maintenance even for someone ready to doll out cash is a bit high and frustarting

There is EX35 and EX37
35 uses VQ35HR 5 speed auto transmission RWD or AWD

37 uses VQ37 engine. With 7spd

The G35 03 to 05 uses VQ35DE 5 spd
G35 06 and 07 uses VQ35HR 5spd
G37 uses VQ37 7 speed transmission

And yes the G35 and EX have a few parts in common as the EX was a crossover variant of the G35 V36, Nissan 370z and skyline for JDM

The model should be okay since it shares parts with the 06/07 G35 with the 5 speed transmission. And the VQ35HR doesn't experience oil issues like the DE.

a. Change of ownership document
b. Receipt of purchase from previous owner

Please as a private seller, how do I get the bolded documents above when selling to potential buyer. I can’t just hand over the ones I received from the seller to the new buyer, cos that was an agreement between the previous owner and me. So to sell the vehicle to a new buyer, do I just type and print the declaration of change of ownership and receipt for the new buyer?

Also the names were never changed on the other documents (customs, police report, change of engine number etc) so it still bears the names of the person that I bought from. Would I need to change these to my name before I can sell the vehicle or do I just hand over those documents I received to the new buyer?

For the first question, you do yours from scratch, you can copy the format of the previous owner doc he used for you. Just go to a cyber cafe and it would be done for you.

For the name of document in previous owners name, no issue about that, just tell the new buyer you didn't change name when you bought the vehicle. Hence the change of ownership and rest of doc would be in the name of previous owner not yours. The intending buyer

1. would have to just do due diligence by checking the name on the document and ensure they all correspond and are original

2. Snap seller and offcourse get a valid means of identifying the seller by getting his drivers license, voters card etc incase of future reference

The Octane level in naija is very low, what people who buy cars that require premium fuel do is to buy octane booster for every full tank, it helps to increase the octane level.

The Oke-ilewo has been returned to the missionary I believe they owned that place then, my set 08-09 did pre degree last there. It is a pity sha as those landlords around oke ilewo lost big time with the movement.

Had a party at the Ogundele village decades ago, and it was real fun being at the Olodo market and spending 3 days in that village.

All those places that seems to be long distances now look like stone throws looking at the distance on those boards.

They are now developed areas thanks to Funaab and Osiele school

Matrix = pontiac = corolla.

Year for year those vehicles are 70% identical very minute differences. Though I did recommend matrix because it is not a robbers magnet like Corolla. Pontiac too is not a robber magnet but body parts are expensive.

Benz C240 is okay am guessing a W203 (03 _07) model years.

Depends on what you want but the benz parts aren't expensive, 03 to 05 interior is whack 06 and 07 were built well.

The best car for women would have been a ToyotaCorolla, that's what my sisters use. But for security purpose I did say a civic is the right one just my opinion
