For me is Toyota anytime any day ...the highlander is cool if you are a man....the rav4 if you are a woman ....the Honda crv will be at the bottom cos it cannot match the ruggedity of the Toyota....

2011 upwards sienna 3rd generation has a 2.7L i4 engine fitted as standard.

I love both cars. infact one might even say I kinda prefer the ZDX to the MDX...

Hello car gurus. Pls I need your help. My vehicle is not raising high when throttled hence resulting to a sluggish movement when it's manual gear is engaged in gear 4 and 5. Both the fuel pump and sensor were changed but the problem persisted. Could it be that the timing belt was not properly seated when the engine was replaced. The car is Daihatsu Hijet Cargo.
Pls help me.

I doubt if it's timing issue. Let the mechanic recheck, especially the spark plugs and fuel pump assembly

The change was done by the previous owner and Abro fluid was reportedly used.

if you have money to spend, buy 4L of total MVLV transmission fluid sold 3500/L drain the fluid in the vehicle, let the mechanic wash the metallic abi magnet filter with petrol, bolt it back and pour in 4L of the total fluid. If the transmission is still good then it wouldn't behave that way again.

if you never pay for the car, walk away

3.3L V6 with vvti technology is a Toyota engine called 3MZFE

V6 higher version is not a decipherable engine has no meaning other than it's a V6 engine. snap both engines if you can better that way.

Car is a first generation Toyota Sienna. Acceleration is not commensurate with the gas pedal depression when in drive. It just growls loudly with increased rev but wouldn't move much. Sometimes I have to take it to reverse and then back to drive before it moves. While in motion, it's as if the car is struggling to gain speed.

Tranny is pretty new. Was changed early last year, and the fluid still has that golden brown colour, and it's up to gauge. I'm at loss at what could be the problem. Though a little research online points to throttle body, and some other stuff.

Any help here?

from your description and what has been done before, I did say your vehicle is experiencing transmission issues.

what fluid was used after transmission fluid change?

If it is octane booster, useful for high-end luxury cars with certain engine. but for all those regular Corolla and Camry you see they don't need it.

so the question is, is "STP gas treatment an octane booster or snake oil"

Good day all. My Honda civic 2008 is giving me serious issue. The battery sign on dashboard is showing when d car is running, the rewire here check n said that my alternator is bad. He bought another alternator for me but the battery sign is still showing and he said I should drive the car for sometime that the alternator will charge d battery. I drove it to work day on Friday a distance of 16km n d battery sign is still showing .it will always appear n disappear. I have to scan the car and it should P2185 code. Yesterday, the sign stop disappearing, it just stay stable, later in d evening that car stopped on motion, I have to use a friend battery to drive it home. The rewire is now saying that the brain box is faulty that why it kills alternator. I disagreed with him because I scanned the car n nothing of such appeared. Pls car gurus here, how do I fix the problem? Here is a pix of the scan result.

for ix35 I think production started 2012

I don't know whether the Hyundai creta falls within your budget

Sell your laptop and buy a low budget PC with dedicated graphics card.

Owners of this Fx were willing to sell to me between 550k to 750k, comparing this price with Camry big daddy, the Fx is way cheaper.

The major reason may not be due to hidden issues but several factors

1. fx is a luxurious vehicle high maintenance costs

2. fuel economy is smiles per gallon ( now depends on what smiles you want to wear at that particular time )

3. part of that vehicle is costly, the headlamp alone is 120k for both pair used and vandals dey move am when given the advantage.

Electrical fault are bound, windows, doors mostly.

it uses Same engine as golf 4, the 2.0L engine mostly. made from aluminum don't let it over heat.

it's basically shares chassis with golf 4, don't let mechanic dargbor the electrical connection and change gear fluid as often as you can. you are good to go
